যোহন 10
1 ১ সত্য, সত্য, আমি তোমাদের বলছি, যে কেউ দরজা দিয়ে মেষের খোঁয়াড়ে না ঢুকে আর কোন রাস্তা দিয়ে ঢোকে, সে হলো চোর এবং ডাকাত।
“Most certainly, I tell you, one who does not enter by the door into the sheep fold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
But one who enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 ৩ তাকেই পাহারাদার দরজা খুলে দেয় এবং মেষেরা তার আওয়াজ শোনে এবং সে নাম ধরে তার নিজের মেষদেরকে ডাকে ও সে বাইরে নিয়ে যায়।
The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.
4 ৪ যখন সে নিজের সব মেষগুলিকে বের করে, তখন সে তাদের আগে আগে চলে এবং মেষেরা তার পিছন পিছন চলে কারণ তারা তার গলার আওয়াজ চেনে।
Whenever he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
5 ৫ তারা কোন মতে অচেনা লোকের পিছনে যাবে না, বরং তার কাছ থেকে পালিয়ে আসবে কারণ অচেনা লোকের গলার আওয়াজ তারা চেনে না।
They will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him; for they don’t know the voice of strangers.”
Yeshua [Salvation] spoke this parable to them, but they didn’t understand what he was telling them.
Yeshua [Salvation] therefore said to them again, “Most certainly, I tell you, Ena Na [I AM (the Living God)] the sheep’s door.
All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep didn’t listen to them.
9 ৯ আমিই সেই দরজা। যদি কেউ আমার মধ্য দিয়ে ঢোকে সে পরিত্রান পাবে এবং সে ভিতরে আসবে ও বাইরে যাবে এবং চরে খাবার জায়গা পাবে।
Ena Na [I AM (the Living God)] the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out, and will find pasture.
10 ১০ চোর আসে চুরি, বধ, ও ধ্বংস করবার জন্য। আমি এসেছি যেন তারা জীবন পায় এবং সেই জীবন অধিক পরিমাণে পায়।
The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.
Ena Na [I AM (the Living God)] the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
12 ১২ যে ভাড়া করা চাকর এবং মেষপালক নয়, মেষগুলি যার নিজের নয়, সে নেকড়ে আসতে দেখলে মেষগুলি ফেলে পালায়। এবং নেকড়ে তাদেরকে ধরে নিয়ে যায় ও তাদের ছিন্নভিন্ন করে দেয়।
He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming, leaves the sheep, and flees. The wolf snatches the sheep, and scatters them.
The hired hand flees because he is a hired hand, and does not care for the sheep.
Ena Na [I AM (the Living God)] the good shepherd. I know my own, and I’m known by my own;
even as Abba ·Father familiar, Dear Dad· knows me, and I know Abba Father. I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 ১৬ আমার আরও অন্য মেষ আছে সে সব এই খোঁয়াড়ের নয়। তাদেরকেও আমি অবশ্যই নিয়ে আসব এবং তারা আমার গলার আওয়াজ শুনবে তাতে একটা মেষের পাল হবে এবং একজন মেষপালক হবে।
I have other sheep, which are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will hear my voice. They will become one flock with one shepherd.
For this reason haAbba ·the Father· has agapao ·total devotion love· unto me, because I lay down my life so that I may take it again.
18 ১৮ কেউ আমার থেকে তা নিয়ে যায় না কিন্তু আমি নিজের থেকেই তা উত্সর্গ করি। আমার অধিকার আছে তা উত্সর্গ করার এবং আবার তা গ্রহণ করবার ক্ষমতা আমার আছে। এই আদেশ আমি নিজের পিতা থেকে পেয়েছি।
No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down by myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. I received this commandment from 'Avi ·my Father·.”
Therefore a division arose again among the Jews [Praisers] because of these words.
Many of them said, “He has a demon, and is insane! Why do you listen to him?”
Others said, “These are not the sayings of one possessed by a demon. It is not possible for a demon to open the eyes of the blind, is it?”
Then came the Festival of Chanukah ·Dedication· at Jerusalem [City of peace]. (This occurs in the ninth month 25th day to tenth month 2nd day).
It was winter, and Yeshua [Salvation] was walking in the temple, in Solomon [Peaceable, Recompense]’s portico (where one can see the four giant menorahs).
24 ২৪ তখন ইহুদীরা তাঁকে ঘিরে ধরল এবং তাঁকে বলল, আর কত কাল আমাদের প্রাণ অনিশ্চিয়তায় রাখবে। আপনি যদি খ্রীষ্ট হন তবে স্পষ্ট করে আমাদেরকে বলুন।
The Jews [Praisers] therefore came around him and said to him, “How long will you hold us in suspense? If you are the Messiah [Anointed one], tell us plainly.”
25 ২৫ যীশু তাদেরকে উত্তর দিলেন, আমি তোমাদেরকে বলেছি কিন্তু তোমরা বিশ্বাস কর না। আমি যে সব কাজ আমার পিতার নামে করছি, সেই সব আমার সম্পর্কে সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছে।
Yeshua [Salvation] answered them, “I told you, and you don’t believe. The works that I do in 'Avi ·my Father·’s name, these testify about me.
But you don’t believe, because you are not of my sheep, as I told you.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
29 ২৯ আমার পিতা যিনি তাদেরকে আমাকে দিয়েছেন তিনি সবার থেকে মহান এবং কেউ পিতার হাত থেকে কিছুই কেড়ে নিতে পারে না।
'Avi [My Father], who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of 'Avi ·my Father·’s hand.
I and Abba ·Father familiar, Dear Dad· are one.”
Therefore Jews [Praisers] took up stones again to stone him.
32 ৩২ যীশু তাদের উত্তর দিলেন, “আমি পিতার থেকে তোমাদেরকে অনেক ভালো কাজ দেখিয়েছি, তার কোন কাজগুলির জন্য আমাকে পাথর মারাতে চাইছ?”
Yeshua [Salvation] answered them, “I have shown you many good works from 'Avi ·my Father·. For which of those works do you stone me?”
33 ৩৩ ইহুদীরা তাঁকে উত্তর দিল, কোনো আশ্চর্য্য কাজের জন্য তোমাকে পাথর মারছি না, কিন্তু ঈশ্বরনিন্দার জন্য, কারণ তুমি একজন মানুষ হয়ে নিজেকে ঈশ্বর করে তুলছ।
The Jews [Praisers] answered him, “We don’t stone you for a good work, but for blasphemy: because you, being a man, make yourself God.”
Yeshua [Salvation] answered them, “Is not it written in your Torah ·Teaching·, ‘I said, you are elohim ·judges, gods·?’
35 ৩৫ যাদের কাছে ঈশ্বরের বাক্য এসেছিল, তিনি তাদের তো দেবতার মত বলেছিলেন আর পবিত্র শাস্ত্রের কথা বাদ দেওয়া যেতে পারে না
If he called the people 'elohim' ·judges, gods·, to whom the word of Elohim ·God· came (and the Scripture can’t be broken),
36 ৩৬ যাকে পিতা পবিত্র করলেন ও পৃথিবীতে পাঠালেন, তোমরা কেন তাঁকে বললে যে, তুমি ঈশ্বরের নিন্দা করছ, কারণ আমি বললাম যে, আমি ঈশ্বরের পুত্র?
do you say of him whom haAbba ·the Father· sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You blaspheme,’ because I said, ‘I am the Ben-Elohim ·Son of Elohim God·?’
If I don’t do the works of 'Avi ·my Father·, don’t believe me.
38 ৩৮ যদিও আমি এইগুলি করছি, তবু যদি তোমরা আমাকে বিশ্বাস না কর তবে সেই কাজের উপর বিশ্বাস কর; যেন তোমরা জানতে পার ও বুঝতে পার যে পিতা আমার মধ্যে আছেন এবং আমি পিতার মধ্যে আছি।
But if I do them, though you don’t believe me, believe the works; that you may know and believe that haAbba ·the Father· is in me, and I in Abba Father.”
They sought again to seize him, and he went out of their hand.
40 ৪০ যীশু আবার যর্দ্দনের অপর পারে যেখানে যোহন প্রথমে বাপ্তিষ্ম দিতেন সেই জায়গায় চলে গেলেন এবং সেখানে থাকলেন।
He went away again beyond the Jordan [Descender] into the place where John [Yah is gracious] was baptizing at first, and there he stayed.
41 ৪১ অনেক মানুষ যীশুর কাছে এসেছিল। তারা বলতে লাগলো, যোহন হয়ত কোন আশ্চর্য্য কাজ করেননি কিন্তু এই মানুষটির সম্পর্কে যোহন যে সব কথা বলেছিলেন সে সবই সত্য।
Many came to him. They said, “John [Yah is gracious] indeed did no sign, but everything that John [Yah is gracious] said about this man is true.”
Many believed in him there.
