1 ১ তারপর, ইয়োব মুখ খুললেন এবং তার জন্মের দিন কে অভিশাপ দিলেন।

3 ৩ “সেই দিনটা ধ্বংস হোক যে দিনের আমি জন্মেছি, সেই রাত যা বলেছিল, ‘একটি ছেলে জন্ম নিল’।

4 ৪ সেই দিন টা অন্ধকারময় হোক; ঈশ্বর উপর থেকে এই দিন টা স্মরণ না করুন, না সূর্য্যের আলো এটা আলোকিত করুক।

Thilke dai be turnede in to derknessis; God seke not it aboue, and be it not in mynde, nethir be it liytned with liyt.

5 ৫ অন্ধকার এবং মৃত্যুর ছায়া এটাকে নিজেদের বলে দাবি করুক; মেঘ এতে বাস করুক; সমস্ত কিছু যা সেই দিন কে অন্ধকার করে তা সত্যিই এটাকে আতঙ্কিত করুক।

6 ৬ সেই রাতের জন্য, গভীর অন্ধকার একে গ্রাস করুক, এটা বছরের দিন গুলোর মধ্যে আনন্দ না করুক; এটা মাসের গোনার মধ্যে না আসুক।

7 ৭ দেখ, সেই রাত বন্ধ্যা হোক; কোন আনন্দের স্বর এটার মধ্যে না আসুক।

8 ৮ তারা সেই দিন টাকে অভিশাপ দিক, যারা জানে কীভাবে লিবিয়াথনকে জাগাতে হয়।

9 ৯ সেই দিনের র সন্ধ্যার তারাগুলি অন্ধকার হোক। সেই দিন আলোর খোঁজ করুক, কিন্তু একটুও না পাক; না এটা সকালের চোখের পাতা দেখতে না পাক,

20 ২০ কেন তাকে আলো দেওয়া হয়েছে যে কষ্ট আছে; কেন তাকে জীবন দেওয়া হয়েছে যার জীবন তিক্ত;
