The word which it came to Jeremiah from with Yahweh in [the] days of Jehoiakim [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah saying.
2 ২ “রেখবীয় বংশের লোকেদের কাছে যাও এবং তাদের বল। তাদের আমার গৃহের কুঠরীতে নিয়ে এস ও তাদের আঙ্গুর রস খেতে দাও।”
Go to [the] house of the Rechabites and you will speak them and you will bring them [the] house of Yahweh to one of the rooms and you will give to drink them wine.
3 ৩ তখন আমি হবৎসিনিয়ের নাতি, যিরমিয়ের ছেলে যাসিনিয়কে, তার ভাইদেরকে ও সমস্ত ছেলেদের এবং রেখবীয়দের সমস্ত বংশকে নিয়ে এলাম।
And I took Jaazaniah [the] son of Jeremiah [the] son Habazziniah and brothers his and all children his and all [the] house of the Rechabites.
4 ৪ আমি তাদেরকে সদাপ্রভুর গৃহে ঈশ্বরের লোক যিগ্দলিয়ের ছেলে হাননের ছেলেদের কুঠরীতে নিয়ে গেলাম। শল্লুমের ছেলে দারোয়ান মাসেয়ের কুঠরীর উপরে নেতাদের কুঠরীর পাশে।
And I brought them [the] house of Yahweh to [the] room of [the] sons of Hanan [the] son Igdaliah [the] man of God which [was] beside [the] room of the officials which [was] from above [the] room of Maaseiah [the] son of Shallum [the] keeper of the threshold.
5 ৫ পরে আমি তারপর সেই রেখবীয়দের সামনে আঙ্গুর রসে পূর্ণ কতকগুলি বাটি আর কতগুলি পেয়ালা রাখলাম ও তাদের বললাম, “তোমরা আঙ্গুর রস পান কর।”
And I put before - [the] sons of [the] house of the Rechabites bowls full wine and cups and I said to them drink wine.
6 ৬ কিন্তু তারা বলল, “আমরা আঙ্গুর রস খাব না, কারণ আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষ রেখবের ছেলে যিহোনাদব আমাদের এই আদেশ দিয়েছেন, ‘তোমরা ও তোমাদের বংশধরেরা কখনও আঙ্গুর রস পান করবে না।
And they said not we drink wine for Jonadab [the] son of Rechab ancestor our he commanded to us saying not you must drink wine you and children your until perpetuity.
7 ৭ এছাড়াও তোমরা বাড়ি তৈরী, বীজ বপন ও আঙ্গুর ক্ষেত চাষ করবে না; এগুলি তোমার জন্য নয়। কারণ তুমি সব দিন তাঁবুতে বাস করবে। যেন তোমরা যে দেশে বিদেশীর মত থাকবে, সেখানে অনেক দিন থাকতে পারবে’।
And a house not you must build and seed not you must sow and a vineyard not you must plant and not it will belong to you for in tents you will dwell all days your so that you may live days many on [the] surface of the ground where you [are] sojourning there.
8 ৮ তাই আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষ রেখবের ছেলে যিহোনাদব আমাদের যা আদেশ করেছিলেন, আমরা তার সমস্ত বাক্য পালন করে আসছি। আমরা, আমাদের স্ত্রী, ছেলেমেয়েরা কেউ কখনও আঙ্গুর রস খাই নি।
And we have listened to [the] voice of Jonadab [the] son of Rechab ancestor our to all that he commanded us to not to drink wine all days our we wives our sons our and daughters our.
And to not to build houses to dwell in we and vineyard and field and seed not it belongs to us.
10 ১০ আমরা তাঁবুতে বাস করেছি এবং আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষ যিহোনাদব আমাদের যা আদেশ করেছেন, তা সমস্তই আমরা পালন করে আসছি।
And we have dwelt in tents and we have obeyed and we have done according to all that he commanded us Jonadab ancestor our.
11 ১১ কিন্তু যখন বাবিলের রাজা নবূখদনিৎসর এই দেশ আক্রমণ করলেন, আমরা বললাম, ‘এস, কলদীয় ও অরামীয় সৈন্যদের কাছ থেকে রেহাই পাবার জন্য যিরূশালেমে পালিয়ে যাই’। তাই আমরা যিরূশালেমে বাস করছি।”
And it was when came up Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon against the land and we said come so we may go Jerusalem because of [the] army of the Chaldeans and from before [the] army of Aram and we have dwelt in Jerusalem.
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jeremiah saying.
13 ১৩ “বাহিনীগণের সদাপ্রভু, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর এই কথা বলেন, যাও, যিহূদা ও যিরূশালেমের লোকদের কাছে গিয়ে বল, সদাপ্রভু বলেন, ‘তোমরা কি আমার শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করবে না ও আমার বাক্য শুনবে না?’
Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel go and you will say to [the] man of Judah and to [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem ¿ not will you accept correction to listen to words my [the] utterance of Yahweh.
14 ১৪ রেখবের ছেলে যিহোনাদব তার ছেলেদের আঙ্গুর রস পান করতে বারণ করেছিল, এখনও পর্যন্ত সেই আদেশ তারা পালন করছে। তারা তাদের পূর্বপুরুষের আদেশ মেনে চলেছে। কিন্তু আমি নিজে তোমাদের কাছে বার বার ঘোষণা করেছি, তবুও তোমরা আমার কথা শোননি।
It was carried out [the] words of Jonadab [the] son of Rechab which he commanded children his to not to drink wine and not they have drunk until the day this for they have obeyed [the] commandment of ancestor their and I I have spoken to you rising early and speaking and not you have listened to me.
15 ১৫ আমি আমার সমস্ত দাসদের, ভাববাদীদের তোমাদের কাছে পাঠিয়েছি। আমি বার বার তাদের পাঠিয়ে বলেছি, ‘তোমরা প্রত্যেকে মন্দ পথ থেকে ফেরো এবং ভাল কাজ কর; অন্য দেবতাদের সেবা করার জন্য তাদের পিছনে যেয়ো না। তাতে যে দেশ আমি তোমাদের ও তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের দিয়েছি, সেখানে তোমরা বাস করতে পারবে’। কিন্তু তোমরা আমার কথা শোননি ও মনোযোগও দাওনি।
And I sent to you all servants my the prophets - rising early and sending - saying turn back please everyone from way his evil and make good deeds your and may not you walk after gods other to serve them and dwell to the land which I gave to you and to ancestors your and not you inclined ear your and not you listened to me.
16 ১৬ রেখবের ছেলে যিহোনাদব যা আদেশ করেছিল, তার বংশধরেরা সেটাই পালন করে আসছে, কিন্তু এই লোকেরা আমার কথা শুনতে অস্বীকার করে।”
For they have carried out [the] sons of Jonadab [the] son of Rechab [the] commandment of ancestor their which he commanded them and the people this not they have listened to me.
17 ১৭ সেইজন্য সদাপ্রভু, বাহিনীগণের ঈশ্বর, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর এই কথা বলেন, “দেখ, আমি যিহূদা ও যিরূশালেমে বাসকারী প্রত্যেকের বিরুদ্ধে যে সব অমঙ্গলের কথা বলেছি, সেই সমস্তই আমি তাদের উপর আনব। কারণ আমি তাদের কাছে ঘোষণা করেছিলাম, কিন্তু তারা শুনতে অস্বীকার করেছিল। আমি তাদের ডেকেছিলাম, কিন্তু তারা উত্তর দেয়নি।”
Therefore thus he says Yahweh [the] God of hosts [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to bring to Judah and to all [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem all the calamity which I spoke on them because I spoke to them and not they listened and I called to them and not they answered.
18 ১৮ যিরমিয় রেখবীয়দের পরিবারকে বললেন, “বাহিনীগণের সদাপ্রভু, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর এই কথা বলেন, ‘তোমরা তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষ যিহোনাদবের আদেশ শুনেছ, তার সমস্ত কিছু পালন করেছ এবং তার আদেশ মত সমস্ত কাজ করেছ’।
And to [the] house of the Rechabites he said Jeremiah thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel because that you have listened to [the] commandment of Jonadab ancestor your and you have kept all commandments his and you have done according to all that he commanded you.
19 ১৯ সেইজন্য বাহিনীগণের সদাপ্রভু, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর এই কথা বলেন, ‘আমার সেবা করবার জন্য রেখবের ছেলে যিহোনাদবের বংশের কোনো একজন সর্বদা থাকবে’।”
Therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel not it will be cut off a man to Jonadab [the] son of Rechab [who] will stand before me all the days.
