1 ১ উনি কে যিনি ইদোম থেকে আসছেন, বস্রা থেকে লাল রঙের পোশাক পরে আসছেন? উনি কে যিনি রাজকীয় পোশাকে মহাশক্তিতে, দৃঢ়তার সঙ্গে এগিয়ে আসছেন? এ আমি, ন্যায়ভাবে কথা বলি এবং আমি মহাশক্তিতে উদ্ধার করি।
Who is this that cometh from Edom, dyed red in his garments from Bozrah? this—glorious in his apparel, moving along in the greatness of his strength? “I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”
Why is redness on thy apparel, and [why are] thy garments as of one that treadeth the wine-press?
3 ৩ আমি একাই আঙ্গুর মাড়াই করেছি এবং জাতিদের মধ্যে কেউ আমার সঙ্গে যোগ দেয় নি। আমি রাগে তাদের পেশাই করেছি ও ভীষণ ক্রোধে তাদের পায়ে মাড়িয়েছি৷ তাদের রক্তের ছিটা আমার পোশাকে লেগেছে এবং আমার সমস্ত কাপড়ে দাগ লেগেছে।
“I have trodden the vat alone, and of the nations there was no man with me; and I trod them down in my anger, and I trampled on them in my fury; and their blood was sprinkled on my garments, and all my raiments have I stained.
For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed was come.
5 ৫ আমি চেয়ে দেখলাম এবং সাহায্যকারী কাউকে পেলাম না৷ আমি আশ্চর্য্য হলাম যে সেখানে সাহায্য করার কেউ ছিলনা, কিন্তু আমার নিজের বাহুই আমার জন্য বিজয় এনে দিয়েছে এবং আমার ক্রোধই আমাকে উৎসাহ দিয়েছে।
And I looked, and there was no one to help, and I was astonished, and there was no one to support; and then my own arm aided me, and my fury—this it was that upheld me.
6 ৬ আমি লোকদের রাগে পায়ে মাড়ালাম এবং আমার ক্রোধে তাদের মাতালের মত করে দিলাম এবং মাটিতে তাদের রক্ত ঢেলে দিলাম।
And I stamped down nations in my anger, and I made them drunken with my fury, and brought down to the earth their victorious strength.”
7 ৭ আমি সদাপ্রভুর নিয়মের বিশ্বস্ততার বিভিন্ন কাজের কথা ও সদাপ্রভুর সমস্ত প্রশংসার যোগ্য কাজের কথা বলব। সদাপ্রভু আমাদের জন্য যা করেছেন আমি সেই সমস্ত বিষয়ে এবং ইস্রায়েল কুলের প্রতি তাঁর যে মহান ভালবাসা তার কথা বলব। তিনি এই সহানুভূতি তাঁর দয়ার এবং নিয়মের বিশ্বস্ততার বিভিন্ন কাজের জন্য আমাদের দেখিয়েছেন।
The kindnesses of the Lord will I mention, the praises of the Lord, in accordance with all that the Lord hath bestowed on us, and the abundant goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and the abundance of his kindnesses.
8 ৮ কারণ তিনি বলেছেন, “অবশ্যই তারা আমার লোক, তারা এমন সন্তান যারা অবিশ্বস্ত নয়।” তিনি তাদের উদ্ধারকর্তা হলেন।
And he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie; and he became to them a Saviour.
9 ৯ তাদের সব দুঃখে, তিনিও দুঃখিত হলেন এবং তাঁর উপস্থিতিতে যে স্বর্গদূতরা থাকে তারা তাদের উদ্ধার করলেন। তাঁর ভালবাসা ও দয়ায় তিনি তাদের রক্ষা করলেন; প্রাচীনকাল থেকেই তিনি তাদের তুলে ধরেছিলেন ও তাদের বহন করেছিলেন।
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them; in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bore them, and he carried them all the days of old.
10 ১০ কিন্তু তারা বিদ্রোহ করল এবং তাঁর পবিত্র আত্মাকে দুঃখ দিল। সেইজন্য তিনি তাদের শত্রু হলেন এবং তাদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করলেন।
But they rebelled, and grieved his holy Spirit; and he changed himself to become their enemy, and he fought against them.
11 ১১ তাঁর লোকেরা পুরানো দিনের র মোশি কথা চিন্তা করল। তারা বলল, “ঈশ্বর, যিনি তাঁর লোকদের ভেড়ার রক্ষকদের সঙ্গে করে সমুদ্রের মধ্য দিয়ে বের করে নিয়ে এসেছিলেন, তিনি কোথায়? যিনি তাদের মধ্যে পবিত্র আত্মা দিয়েছিলেন তিনি কোথায়?
Then remembered his people the ancient days of Moses, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put within him his holy Spirit?
12 ১২ যিনি মোশির ডান হাতের সঙ্গে তাঁর মহিমান্বিত শক্তিকে যেতে দিয়েছেন এবং তাঁর নামকে চিরস্থায়ী করার জন্য তাদের সামনে জলকে দুই ভাগে ভাগ করেছেন, সেই ঈশ্বর কোথায়?
That displayed by the right hand of Moses his glorious arm; that divided the water before them, to make unto himself an everlasting name?
13 ১৩ যিনি তাদেরকে গভীর জলের মধ্য দিয়ে নিয়ে গিয়েছিলেন, সেই ঈশ্বর কোথায়? যেমনভাবে সমান জায়গায় ঘোড়া দৌড়ায় তেমন তারাও হোঁচট খায় নি।
That led them through the deeps, as a horse through the wilderness, that they should not stumble?
14 ১৪ যেমনভাবে পশুপাল উপত্যকায় নেমে যায়, তেমন ভাবে সদাপ্রভুর আত্মা তাদের বিশ্রাম দিয়েছিলেন। তোমার নামকে প্রশংসনীয় করার জন্য তোমার লোকদের পরিচালনা করেছিলেন।”
As a beast goeth down into the valley, so did the spirit of the Lord bring them to rest; thus didst thou guide thy people, to make unto thyself a glorious name.
15 ১৫ স্বর্গ থেকে, তোমার পবিত্র ও গৌরবময় বাসস্থান থেকে তুমি নিচে তাকিয়ে দেখ। তোমার আগ্রহ ও তোমার শক্তিপূর্ণ কাজ কোথায়? তোমার দয়া ও মমতার কাজ আমাদের থেকে দূরে রাখা হয়েছে।
Look down from heaven, and behold, from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory: where are thy zeal and thy mights, the yearning of thy bowels and of thy mercy which are now restrained from me?
16 ১৬ কারণ তুমি আমাদের পিতা। যদিও অব্রাহাম আমাদের জানেন না এবং ইস্রায়েল আমাদের স্বীকার করেন না, তবুও সদাপ্রভু, তুমিই আমাদের পিতা; “আমাদের মুক্তিদাতা,” প্রাচীনকাল থেকেই এই তোমার নাম।
For thou art our father; for Abraham knoweth nothing of us, and Israel recogniseth us not: thou, O Lord, art our father, our Redeemer from everlasting is thy name.
17 ১৭ হে সদাপ্রভু, তোমার পথ ছেড়ে কেন আমাদের ভ্রান্ত হতে দিচ্ছ এবং যেন আমরা তোমার বাধ্য না হই তাই আমাদের হৃদয়কে কেন কঠিন করছ? তোমার দাসদের জন্য এবং যে গোষ্ঠীগুলো তোমার অধিকার তাদের জন্য ফিরে এস।
Why hast thou let us go astray, O Lord, from thy ways, suffered our heart to be hardened against thy fear? Return for the sake of thy servants, the tribes of thy heritage.
18 ১৮ তোমার লোকেরা পবিত্র জায়গা অল্প দিনের জন্য ভোগ করেছিল, কিন্তু আমাদের শত্রুরা সেটা পায়ে মাড়িয়েছে।
But a brief space were thy holy people in possession, when our adversaries trod down thy sanctuary.
19 ১৯ তুমি যাদের উপর কখনও কর্তৃত্ব কর নি, আমরা তারা যাদের কখনও তোমার নামে ডাকা হয়নি, আমরা তাদের মত হয়েছি।
We are become as though we are those over whom thou hast never ruled, over whom thy name hath not been called.
