Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
2 ২ যদিও অন্ধকার পৃথিবীকে এবং ঘন অন্ধকার জাতিদের ঢেকে ফেলবে, তবুও সদাপ্রভু তোমার উপরে উদিত হবেন ও তাঁর মহিমা তোমার উপরে প্রকাশিত হবে।
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
4 ৪ চারপাশে তাকাও এবং দেখ, তারা সবাই নিজেদের একত্র করেছে এবং তোমার কাছে আসছে৷ তোমার ছেলেরা দূর থেকে আসবে এবং তোমার মেয়েদের কোলে করে আনা হবে।
Lift up thy eyes around, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.
5 ৫ তখন তুমি দেখবে ও আনন্দে উজ্জ্বল হবে এবং তোমাদের হৃদয় আনন্দ করবে এবং আনন্দে পূর্ণ হবে; কারণ সমুদ্রের ধনসম্পদ তোমার কাছে ঢেলে দেওয়া হবে, জাতিদের ধনসম্পদ তোমার কাছে আসবে।
Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thy heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted to thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come to thee.
6 ৬ মরুযাত্রীদের উট তোমাকে আবৃত করবে, মিদিয়ন ও ঐফার দ্রুতগামী উটেরা। তারা সোনা ও সুগন্ধি ধূপ নিয়ে শিবা দেশ থেকে আসবে এবং সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা গান গাইবে।
The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall show forth the praises of the LORD.
7 ৭ কেদরের সমস্ত ভেড়ার পালগুলো তোমার কাছে জড়ো হবে, নবায়োতের ভেড়া তোমাদের প্রয়োজন মেটাবে; তারা আমার বেদির উপরে গ্রহণযোগ্য উৎসর্গ হবে এবং আমি আমার গৌরবময় গৃহকে মহিমান্বিত করব।
All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister to thee: they shall come up with acceptance on my altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.
Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as doves to their windows?
9 ৯ সমস্ত উপকূল আমার জন্য তাকিয়ে থাকে ও দূর থেকে তোমার ছেলেদের ফিরিয়ে আনার জন্য তর্শীশের জাহাজগুলো পাঠানো হয়েছে এবং তাদের সোনা ও রূপা তাদের সঙ্গে আছে; তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর নামে এবং ইস্রায়েলের সেই পবিত্র ঈশ্বরের জন্যই, কারণ তিনি তোমাকে সম্মানিত করেছেন।
Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, to the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.
10 ১০ বিদেশীরা পুনরায় তোমার দেয়াল গাঁথবে এবং তাদের রাজারা তোমার সেবা করবে। যদিও আমার ক্রোধে আমি তোমাকে শাস্তি দিয়েছি, তবুও আমার দয়ায় আমি তোমাকে করুণা করব।
And the sons of foreigners shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister to thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.
11 ১১ তোমার ফটকগুলোও সব দিন খোলা থাকবে, দিনের ও রাতে কখনও সেগুলো বন্ধ থাকবে না, যাতে জাতিদের ধনসম্পদ তোমার কাছে আনা হয়; তাদের রাজাদেরও নিয়ে আসা হবে।
Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring to thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.
12 ১২ প্রকৃত পক্ষে, যে সমস্ত জাতি বা রাজ্য তোমার সেবা করবে না তারা ধ্বংস হবে, সেই সমস্ত জাতিগুলো সম্পূর্ণভাবে ধ্বংস হয়ে যাবে।
For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
13 ১৩ লিবানোনের গৌরব তোমার কাছে আসবে; আমার পবিত্র জায়গা সাজানোর জন্য একসঙ্গে, বেরস, ঝাউ ও তাশূর গাছ আসবে; আমার পা রাখবার জায়গাকে আমি গৌরব দান করব।
The glory of Lebanon shall come to thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
14 ১৪ তোমাকে যারা অত্যাচার করত তাদের ছেলেরা মাথা নীচু করে তোমার সামনে আসবে; যারা তোমাকে তুচ্ছ করত তারা তোমার পায়ের কাছে নত হয়ে প্রণাম করবে আর তারা তোমাকে সদাপ্রভুর শহর, ইস্রায়েলের সেই পবিত্রজনের সিয়োন বলে ডাকবে।
The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending to thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
15 ১৫ যদিও তোমাকে ত্যাগ ও ঘৃণা করা হয়েছিল, কেউ তোমার মধ্যে দিয়ে যেত না, তবুও আমি তোমাকে চিরদিনের র জন্য গর্বের পাত্র করব এবং এক বংশ থেকে আর এক বংশের কাছে আনন্দের বিষয় করব।
Though thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an everlasting pride, a joy of many generations.
16 ১৬ তোমরা জাতিদের দুধ পান করবে এবং রাজাদেরও দুধ পান করবে; তখন তুমি জানবে যে, আমি সদাপ্রভুই তোমার উদ্ধারকর্তা, তোমার মুক্তিদাতা, যাকোবের সেই শক্তিশালী জন।
Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
17 ১৭ আমি ব্রোঞ্জের বদলে সোনা আনব এবং লোহার বদলে রূপা আনব; কাঠের বদলে ব্রোঞ্জ আর পাথরের বদলে লোহা। আমি শান্তিকে তোমার শাসনকর্ত্তা করব আর সততাকে তোমার নেতা করব।
For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thy exactors righteousness.
18 ১৮ কোন অনিষ্টের কথা আর তোমার দেশে শোনা যাবে না, তোমার সীমানার মধ্যে শোনা যাবে না কোন ধ্বংস বা বিনাশের কথা; কিন্তু তুমি তোমার দেয়ালগুলোকে উদ্ধার আর তোমার ফটকগুলোকে প্রশংসা বলে ডাকবে।
Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
19 ১৯ দিনের র বেলা সূর্য্যের আলো তোমাদের আর দরকার হবে না, চাঁদের উজ্জ্বলতাও আর তোমাদের প্রয়োজনে হবে না, কারণ সদাপ্রভুই হবেন তোমার চিরস্থায়ী আলো এবং তোমার ঈশ্বরই হবেন তোমার মহিমা।
The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light to thee: but the LORD shall be to thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
20 ২০ তোমার সূর্য্য আর কখনও অস্ত যাবে না, তোমার চাঁদও আর ডুবে যাবে না বা অদৃশ্যও হবে না। সদাপ্রভুই তোমার চিরস্থায়ী আলো হবেন; তোমার শোকের দিন শেষ হবে।
Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thy everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
21 ২১ তোমার সমস্ত লোকেরা ধার্মিক হবে; তারা চিরদিনের র জন্য দেশ অধিকার দখল করবে। তারা আমার লাগানো চারা, আমার হাতের কাজ; যেন আমি তাদের মধ্যে মহিমান্বিত হই।
Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
22 ২২ তোমাদের মধ্য যে সব থেকে ছোট সে হাজার জন হবে এবং যে সবচেয়ে ছোট সে একটা শক্তিশালী জাতি হবে। আমি সদাপ্রভু; যখন দিন আসবে তখন আমি তা তাড়াতাড়িই সম্পন্ন করব।
A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in its time.
