1 ১ ধার্মিক বিনষ্ট হচ্ছে, কিন্তু কেউ সে বিষয়ে বিবেচনা করে না; চুক্তির বিশ্বস্ত লোকদের একত্রিত করা হয়, কিন্তু কেউ বুঝতে পারে না যে, বিপদের সামনে থেকে ধার্মিকলোকদের একত্রিত করা হয়।
The righteous perish, but no one considers it, and the people of covenant faithfulness are gathered away, but no one understands that the righteous is gathered away from the evil.
He enters into peace; they rest in their beds, those who walk in their uprightness.
But come here, you sons of the sorceress, children of the adulterer and the woman who has prostituted herself.
4 ৪ তোমরা কাকে উপহাস কর? কাকে দেখে তোমরা মুখ খোল ও জিভ বের কর? তোমরা কি অধর্ম্মের সন্তান ও মিথ্যাবাদীদের বংশ নও?
Whom are you merrily mocking? Against whom are you opening the mouth and sticking out the tongue? Are you not children of rebellion, children of deceit?
5 ৫ তোমরা তো এলোন গাছগুলোর মধ্যে, ডালপালা ছড়ানো প্রত্যেকটি সবুজ গাছের নীচে কামনায় জ্বলে থাক; তোমরা নানা উপত্যকায় ও পাহাড়ের ফাটলে তোমাদের ছেলে মেয়েদের হত্যা করে থাক।
You heat yourselves up sleeping together under the oaks, under every green tree, you who kill your children in the dry riverbeds, under the rocky overhangs.
6 ৬ তুমি উপত্যকার মসৃণ পাথরগুলির মধ্যে তোমার অংশ, সেইগুলি তোমার অধিকার; তাদের উদ্দেশ্যে তুমি পানীয় দ্রব্য ঢেলেছ, নৈবেদ্য উত্সর্গ করেছ। এই সবেতে কি আমি চুপ করে থাকব?
Among the smooth things of the river valley are the things that have been assigned to you. They are the object of your devotion. You pour out your drink offering to them and raise up a grain offering. In these things should I take pleasure?
You prepared your bed on a high mountain; you also went up there to offer sacrifices.
8 ৮ দরজা ও দরজার চৌকাঠের পিছনে তুমি তোমার চিহ্ন স্থাপন করেছ; তুমি আমাকে ছেড়ে চলে গিয়েছ, নিজেকে উলঙ্গ করেছ এবং উঠে গিয়েছ; তুমি তোমার বিছানা প্রশস্ত করেছ; তুমি তাদের সঙ্গে এক চুক্তি করেছ; তুমি তাদের বিছানা ভালোবেসেছ; তুমি তাদের গোপন অংশ দেখেছ।
Behind the door and the doorposts you set up your symbols; you deserted me, made yourselves naked, and went up; you made your bed wide. You made a covenant with them; you loved their beds; you saw their private parts.
9 ৯ তুমি তেল মলেখ দেবতার কাছে গিয়েছ আর প্রচুর পরিমাণে সুগন্ধি ব্যবহার করেছ। তোমার দূতদের তুমি দূরে পাঠিয়েছ, তুমি মৃতস্থানে গিয়েছিলে। (Sheol h7585)
You went to Molech with oil; you multiplied perfumes. You send your ambassadors far away; you went down to Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
10 ১০ তোমার যাতায়াতের ফলে ক্লান্ত হয়ে পড়েছ, তবুও “আশা নেই।” এই কথা বলনি; তোমার হাতের নাড়ি খুঁজে পেয়েছ; এই জন্য তুমি দুর্বল হওনি।
You were tired from your long journey, but you never said, “It is hopeless.” You found life in your hand; therefore you did not weaken.
11 ১১ বল দেখি কার থেকে এমন ত্রাসযুক্ত ও ভীত হয়েছ যে, মিথ্যা কথা বলেছ? তুমি আমাকে ভুলে গিয়েছ, মনে জায়গা দেওনি। আমি কি চিরকাল ধরে নীরব থাকি নি? কিন্তু তুমি আমাকে গুরুত্ব সহকারে গ্রহণ করনি।
“Whom are you worried about? Whom do you fear so much that has caused you to act so deceitfully, so much that you would not remember me or think about me? Because I was silent for so long, you are no longer afraid of me.
I will proclaim all your righteous acts and tell all that you have done, but they will not help you.
13 ১৩ যখন তুমি চিত্কার কর, তখন তোমার জড়ো করা মূর্তিগুলোই তোমাকে উদ্ধার করুক। পরিবর্তে বাতাস তাদের সবাইকে বয়ে নিয়ে যাবে; একটা নিঃশ্বাস সে সবকে নিয়ে যাবে। তবু যে লোক আমার আশ্রয় নেয় সে দেশের এবং আমার পবিত্র পাহাড়ের অধিকার পাবে।
When you cry out, let your collection of idols rescue you. Instead the wind will carry them all away, a breath will carry them all away. Yet he who takes refuge in me will inherit the land and will take possession of my holy mountain.
He will say, 'Build, build! Clear a way! Remove all the stumbling blocks from the path of my people!'”
15 ১৫ কারণ যিনি উচ্চ ও উন্নত, যিনি অনন্তকালনিবাসী, যাঁর নাম পবিত্র, তিনি বলছেন, “আমি উন্নত ও পবিত্র জায়গায় বাস করি, চূর্ণ নম্রতা মানুষের সঙ্গে বাস করি যেন নম্রদের আত্মাকে সঞ্জীবিত করি ও চূর্ণ লোকদের হৃদয়কে সঞ্জীবিত করি।
For this is what the high and elevated One says, who lives eternally, whose name is holy, “I live in the exalted and holy place, with him also that is of a crushed and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble ones, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
16 ১৬ কারণ আমি চিরকাল অভিযোগ করব না, সবসমসয় ক্রোধ করব না; করলে আত্মা এবং আমার তৈরী করা প্রাণীরা আমার সামনে দুর্বল হবে।
For I will not accuse forever, nor will I be angry forever, for then man's spirit would faint before me, the lives that I have made.
17 ১৭ কারণ তাদের লোভরূপ অপরাধে আমি ক্রুদ্ধ হলাম ও তাকে শাস্তি দিলাম, নিজের মুখ লুকিয়ে ক্রোধ করলাম, তবু সে ফিরে গিয়ে হৃদয়ের পথে চলল।
Because of the sin of his violent gain, I was angry, and I punished him; I hid my face and was angry, but he went backward in the way of his heart.
18 ১৮ আমি তার পথগুলি দেখেছি, কিন্তু আমি তাকে সুস্থ করব। আমি তাদের পথপ্রদর্শক হব এবং তাকে ও তার শোকাকুলদেরকে সান্ত্বনা দান করব।
I have seen his ways, but I will heal him. I will lead him and comfort and console those who mourn for him,
19 ১৯ আমি ঠোঁটের ফল সৃষ্টি করি; শান্তির কাছাকাছি ও দূরবর্তী উভয়েরই শান্তি,” এটা সদাপ্রভু বলেন। “আমি তাদেরকে সুস্থ করব।”
and I create the fruit of the lips. Peace, peace, to those who are far off and to those who are near—says Yahweh—I will heal them.
But the wicked are like the tossing sea, which cannot rest, and its waters churn up mire and mud.
There is no peace for the wicked one—says God.”
