যিশাইয় ভাববাদীর বই 53
Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
2 ২ কারণ তিনি তাঁর সামনে চারার মত, শুকনো মাটিতে উত্পন্ন মূলের মত উঠলেন; তাঁর এমন সৌন্দর্য বা জাঁকজমক নেই যে, তাঁর দিকে আমরা ফিরে তাকাই; আমরা তাকে দেখেছি, আমাদের আকর্ষণ করার জন্য কোন সৌন্দর্য ছিল না।
For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, [there is] no beauty that we should desire him.
3 ৩ তিনি ঘৃণিত ও লোকদের দ্বারা প্রত্যাখ্যাত হয়েছে; ব্যথার পাত্র ও যন্ত্রণায় পরিচিত হয়েছেন। লোকে যাকে দেখলে মুখ লুকায় তিনি তার মত হয়েছেন; তিনি ঘৃণিত হয়েছেন এবং আমরা তাকে তুচ্ছ বলে বিবেচনা করি।
He is despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were [our] faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 ৪ কিন্তু সত্যি তিনিই আমাদের সব রোগ তুলে নিয়েছেন আর আমাদের দুঃখ বহন করেছেন; তবু আমরা ভাবলাম ঈশ্বরের দ্বারা প্রহারিত, আহত ও দুঃখিত হয়েছেন।
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 ৫ কিন্তু তিনি আমাদের অধর্ম্মের জন্যই বিদ্ধ; তিনি আমাদের পাপের জন্য চূর্ণ হলেন। আমাদের শান্তিজনক শাস্তি তার ওপরে আসল; তার ক্ষতের দ্বারা আমাদের আরোগ্য হল।
But he [was] wounded for our transgression, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 ৬ আমরা সবাই মেষের মত বিপথে গিয়েছি; আমরা প্রত্যেকে নিজেদের পথের দিকে ফিরেছি এবং সদাপ্রভু আমাদের সবার অন্যায় তাঁর ওপরে দিয়েছেন।
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 ৭ তিনি অত্যাচারিত হলেন; কষ্ট ভোগ করলেন, তবু তিনি মুখ খুললেন না; যেমন মেষশাবক হত্যার জন্য নীত হয় এবং মেষ যেমন লোম ছাঁটাইকারীদের সামনে চুপ করে থাকে।
He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth.
8 ৮ তিনি অত্যাচার ও বিচারের দ্বারা নিন্দিত হলেন। সেই দিন কার লোকদের মধ্যে কে তার বিষয়ে আলোচনা করল, কিন্তু তিনি জীবিতদের দেশ থেকে উচ্ছিন্ন হলেন। আমার লোকের অধর্ম্মের জন্য তার ওপরে আঘাত পড়ল।
He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off from the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9 ৯ তারা দুষ্টদের সঙ্গে তার কবর নির্ধারণ করল এবং মৃত্যুতে তিনি ধনবানের সঙ্গী হলেন, যদিও তিনি হিংস্রতা করেননি, আর তাঁর মুখে ছলনা ছিল না।
And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death: because he had done no violence, neither [was any] deceit in his mouth.
10 ১০ তবুও তাকে চূর্ণ করতে সদাপ্রভুরই ইচ্ছা ছিল; তিনি তাকে যন্ত্রণাগ্রস্থ করলেন, যখন তাঁর প্রাণ দোষার্থক বলি উৎসর্গ করবেন, তখন তিনি তাঁর সন্তানদের দেখতে পাবেন, দীর্ঘ আয়ু বাড়ানো হবেন এবং তাঁর হাতে সদাপ্রভুর ইচ্ছা পূর্ণ হবে।
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put [him] to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong [his] days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
11 ১১ তিনি তাঁর প্রাণের কষ্টভোগের ফল দেখবেন, তৃপ্ত হবেন; আমার ধার্মিক দাসকে গভীরভাবে জানবার মধ্যে দিয়ে অনেককে নির্দোষ বলে গ্রহণ করা হবে, কারণ তিনি তাদের সব অন্যায় বহন করবেন।
He shall see of the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12 ১২ এই জন্য মহান লোকদের মধ্যে আমি তাঁকে একটা অংশ দেব এবং তিনি শক্তিশালীদের সঙ্গে লুট ভাগ করবেন, কারণ তিনি মৃত্যুর জন্য নিজের প্রাণ দিয়েছিলেন। তিনি অধর্মীদের সঙ্গে গণিত হলেন এবং তিনি অনেকের পাপ বহন করেছিলেন এবং অধর্মীদের জন্য অনুরোধ করেছিলেন।
Therefore I will divide to him [a portion] with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul to death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
