যিশাইয় ভাববাদীর বই 19
1 ১ মিশর দেশের বিষয়ে সদাপ্রভুর ঘোষণা। দেখ, সদাপ্রভু একটা দ্রুতগামী মেঘে করে মিশরে আসছেন। তাঁর সামনে মিশরের প্রতিমাগুলো কাঁপবে এবং মিশরীয়দের হৃদয় তাদের মধ্যে গলে যাবে।
The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.
2 ২ “আমি এক মিশরীয়কে অন্য মিশরীয়ের বিরুদ্ধে উত্তেজিত করে তুলব; একজন লোক তার ভাইয়ের বিরুদ্ধে, একজন লোক তার প্রতিবেশীর বিরুদ্ধে, শহর শহরের বিরুদ্ধে, আর রাজ্য রাজ্যের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করবে।
And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.
3 ৩ মিশরীয়দের আত্মা নিজেদের মধ্যে দুর্বল হবে, আমি তাদের পরিকল্পনা বিনষ্ট করব। যদিও তারা মূর্ত্তি, মৃত মানুষের আত্মা, মাধ্যম এবং আধ্যাত্মবাদীদের কাছে পরামর্শ চেয়েছিল।
And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst of her; and I will destroy its counsel: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to the mediums, and to the wizards.
4 ৪ আমি মিশরীয়দেরকে একটি কঠোর মনিবের হাতে তুলে দেব এবং একজন শক্তিশালী রাজা তাদের শাসন করবেন।” এই হল বাহিনীদের প্রভু সদাপ্রভুর কথা।
And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.
And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the rivers shall be wasted and dried up.
And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.
7 ৭ নীল নদীর ঘাটের দ্বারা, নীল নদীর তীরের মাঠের দ্বারা এবং নীল নদীর কাছের বোনা বীজ সব, শুকিয়ে যাবে, ধূলোতে পরিণত হবে।
The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more.
8 ৮ জেলেরা হাহাকার করবে আর নীল নদীতে যারা বঁড়শি ফেলে তারা বিলাপ করবে। যারা জলে জাল ফেলে তারা শোক করবে।
The fishermen also shall mourn, and all they that cast a line into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish.
Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave fine cloths, shall be confounded.
And they shall be broken in its purposes, all that make sluices and ponds for fish.
11 ১১ সোয়নের নেতারা একেবারে বোকা; ফরৌণের জ্ঞানী পরামর্শদাতাদের উপদেশ অর্থহীন হয়ে পড়েছে। তোমরা ফরৌণকে কেমন করে বলতে পার, “আমি জ্ঞানী লোকদের ছেলে, প্রাচীন রাজাদের একজন ছেলে?”
Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become stupid: how say ye to Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?
12 ১২ তোমার জ্ঞানী লোকেরা এখন কোথায়? তারা তোমাকে বলুক বাহিনীদের সদাপ্রভু মিশরের বিরুদ্ধে যে পরিকল্পনা করেছেন, তা তারা জানুক।
Where are they? where are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt.
13 ১৩ সোয়নের নেতারা বোকা হয়েছে, আর নোফের নেতারা প্রতারিত হয়েছে; তারা মিশরকে বিভ্রান্ত করে তুলেছে, যারা তার বংশদের কোণের পাথর।
The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, even they that are the support of its tribes.
14 ১৪ সদাপ্রভু তার মধ্যে বিকৃতির আত্মা মিশ্রিত করেছেন এবং তারা মিশরকে তার সমস্ত কাজে বিপথে চালিত করেছে, যেমন মত্ত লোক তার বমিতে ভ্রান্ত হয়ে পড়ে।
The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst of it: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work of it, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit.
Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may perform.
16 ১৬ সেই সময়ে, মিশরীয়রা নারীদের মত হবে। তারা কাঁপবে ও ভয় পাবে কারণ বাহিনীদের সদাপ্রভু তাদের বিরুদ্ধে হাত ওঠাবেন।
In that day shall Egypt be like women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it.
17 ১৭ যিহূদা দেশ মিশরের জন্য ভয়ের কারণ হবে। যখনই কেউ তাদের মনে করিয়ে দেবে তখন তারা সদাপ্রভুর পরিকল্পনার কারণে ভীত হবে, যে সে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে পরিকল্পনা করছে।
And the land of Judah shall be a terror to Egypt, every one that maketh mention of it shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.
18 ১৮ সেই দিন মিশরের পাঁচটি শহর কনানের ভাষা বলবে এবং বাহিনীদের সদাপ্রভুর প্রতি আনুগত্যের শপথ করবে। সেই শহরগুলোর মধ্যে একটাকে বলা হবে ধ্বংসের শহর।
In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.
In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at its border to the LORD.
20 ২০ মিশর দেশে বাহিনীদের সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশ্যে এটা একটা চিহ্ন ও সাক্ষ্য হিসাবে হবে। তাদের অত্যাচারীদের কারণে তারা যখন সদাপ্রভুর কাছে কাঁদবে তখন তিনি তাদের কাছে একজন ত্রাণকর্ত্তা ও রক্ষাকর্তাকে পাঠিয়ে দেবেন এবং তিনি তাদের উদ্ধার করবেন।
And it shall be for a sign and for a witness to the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry to the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.
21 ২১ এই ভাবে সদাপ্রভু মিশরীয়দের কাছে নিজেকে প্রকাশ করবেন এবং সেই দিন তারা সদাপ্রভুকে জানবে। তারা উৎসর্গ ও বলি দিয়ে উপাসনা করবে এবং সদাপ্রভুর কাছে প্রতিজ্ঞা করবে এবং তা পূর্ণ করবে।
And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall offer sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow to the LORD, and perform it.
22 ২২ সদাপ্রভু মিশরকে কষ্ট দেবেন, ব্যথা দেবেন ও নিরাময় করবেন। তারা প্রভুর কাছে ফিরে আসবে; তিনি তাদের প্রার্থনা শুনবেন এবং তাদের সুস্থ করবেন।
And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be entreated by them, and shall heal them.
23 ২৩ সেই দিন মিশর থেকে অশূর পর্যন্ত একটা রাজপথ হবে। অশূরীয়েরা মিশরে এবং মিশরীয়েরা অশূরীয়তে যাওয়া-আসা করবে। মিশরীয়েরা অশূরীয়েরা এক সঙ্গে উপাসনা করবে।
In that day shall there be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.
In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:
25 ২৫ বাহিনীদের সদাপ্রভু তাদের আশীর্বাদ করবেন এবং বলবেন, “আমার লোক মিশর, আমার হাতে গড়া অশূর ও আমার অধিকার ইস্রায়েল আশীর্বাদিত হবে।”
Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my inheritance.
