যিশাইয় ভাববাদীর বই 15

1 ১ মোয়াবের বিষয়ে এই কথা: প্রকৃত পক্ষে, রাতের মধ্যে মোয়াবের আর্ নামের শহরটা নষ্ট ও ধ্বংস হল এবং মোয়াবের কীর শহরটা এক রাতের মধ্যেই নষ্ট ও ধ্বংস হয়ে গেছে।

The burden of Moab. Surely Ar of Moab was destroied, and brought to silece in a night: surely Kir of Moab was destroied, and brought to silence in a night.

2 ২ মোয়াবের লোকেরা কাঁদবার জন্য দীবোনের মন্দিরে ও উঁচু জায়গায় গিয়েছে। তারা নবো ও মেদবার ওপরে বিলাপ করছে। তাদের সকলের মাথা কামানো হয়েছে এবং দাড়িও কাটা হয়েছে।

He shall goe vp to the temple, and to Dibon to the hie places to weepe: for Nebo and for Medeba shall Moab howle: vpon all their heades shalbe baldnesse, and euery beard shauen.

3 ৩ তাদের লোক রাস্তায় রাস্তায় চট পরেছে। তারা সবাই ছাদের উপরে ও শহর-চকের মধ্যে বিলাপ করছে। প্রত্যেকে কেঁদে গলে পড়েছে।

In their streetes shall they bee gilded with sackecloth: on the toppes of their houses, and in their streetes euery one shall howle, and come downe with weeping.

4 ৪ হিশবোন ও ইলিয়ালী কাঁদছে; তাদের গলার স্বর যহস পর্যন্ত শোনা যাচ্ছে। সেইজন্য মোয়াবের সৈন্যেরাও চিত্কার করে কাঁদছে এবং তাদের হৃদয় ভয়ে কাঁপছে।

And Heshbon shall crie, and Elealeh: their voyce shall bee heard vnto Iahaz: therefore the warriers of Moab shall showt: the soule of euery one shall lament in him selfe.

5 ৫ মোয়াবের জন্য আমার হৃদয় কাঁদছে; তার লোকেরা সোয়রের দিকে ইগ্লৎ-শলিশীয়া পর্যন্ত পালিয়ে যাচ্ছে। তারা কাঁদতে কাঁদতে লূহীতের আরোহণ পথে যাচ্ছে; তাদের জায়গা ধ্বংস হয়েছে বলে তারা চিত্কার করে কাঁদতে কাঁদতে হোরণয়িমের রাস্তায় চলছে।

Mine heart shall crie for Moab: his fugitiues shall flee vnto Zoar, an heiffer of three yere olde: for they shall goe vp with weeping by the mounting vp of Luhith: and by the way of Horonaim they shall raise vp a crie of destruction.

6 ৬ নিম্রীমের জল শুকিয়ে গেল ও ঘাস শুকিয়ে গেছে এবং নতুন গাছ মারা গেছে, সবুজ বলতে কিছুই নেই।

For the waters of Nimrim shall be dried vp: therefore the grasse is withered, the herbes consumed, and there was no greene herbe.

7 ৭ তারা তাদের জমানো ধন-সম্পদ তারা উইলো গাছের তীরের ওপাশে নিয়ে যাচ্ছে।

Therefore what euery man hath left, and their substance shall they beare to the brooke of the willowes.

8 ৮ মোয়াবের সীমার চারপাশে তাদের কান্নার শব্দ গিয়েছে; ইগ্লয়িম ও বের-এলীম পর্যন্ত তাদের বিলাপ শোনা যাচ্ছে।

For the crie went round about the borders of Moab: and the howling thereof vnto Eglaim, and the skriking thereof vnto Beer Elim,

9 ৯ কারণ দীমোনের জল রক্তে ভরা, কিন্তু আমি তার উপরে আরও দুঃখ আনব; মোয়াবের পালিয়ে যাওয়া লোকদের ওপরে এবং যারা দেশে বেঁচে থাকবে তাদের ওপরে সিংহ আঘাত করবে।

Because the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more vpon Dimon, euen lyons vpon him that escapeth of Moab, and to the remnant of the land.
