The burden of Babel, which Isaiah the sonne of Amoz did see.
2 ২ তোমরা উন্মুক্ত পাহাড়ের ওপরে একটা পতাকা তোল; তাদের জন্য চিৎকার কর, প্রধানদের দরজা দিয়ে গিয়ে তাদের জন্য হাত দোলাও।
Lift vp a standard vpon the hie mountaine: lift vp the voyce vnto them: wagge the hand, that they may goe into the gates of the nobles.
3 ৩ আমি আমার পবিত্র লোকদের আদেশ দিয়েছি, হ্যাঁ, আমি আমার রাগ সম্পন্ন করার জন্য আমার শক্তিশালী লোকদের, যারা বিজয়ে উল্লাস করে তাদের ডেকেছি।
I haue commanded them, that I haue sanctified: and I haue called ye mightie to my wrath, and them that reioyce in my glorie.
4 ৪ পর্বতমালায় অনেক লোকদের মত জনগনের কোলাহল! অনেক জাতির একসঙ্গে জড়ো হওয়ার মতো রাজ্যের একটি তীব্র শব্দ! বাহিনীদের সদাপ্রভু যুদ্ধের জন্য সৈন্য রচনা করেছেন।
The noyse of a multitude is in the mountaines, like a great people: a tumultuous voyce of the kingdomes of the nations gathered together: the Lord of hostes nombreth the hoste of the battell.
5 ৫ তারা দূর দেশ থেকে, পৃথিবীর শেষ সীমা থেকে আসছে; সদাপ্রভু তাঁর বিচারের অস্ত্র নিয়ে সমস্ত দেশকে ধ্বংস করবার জন্য আসছেন।
They come from a farre countrey, from the end of the heauen: euen the Lord with the weapons of his wrath to destroy the whole land.
Howle you, for the day of the Lord is at hande: it shall come as a destroier from the Almightie.
Therefore shall all hands be weakened, and all mens hearts shall melt,
8 ৮ তারা ভীত হবে, একজন মহিলার প্রসববেদনার মত তীব্র যন্ত্রণা এবং দুঃখ তাদেরকে ধরবে। তারা আশ্চর্য্যভাবে একে অপরের দিকে তাকাবে; তাদের মুখ আগুনের শিখার মতো হবে।
And they shalbe afraid: anguish and sorowe shall take them, and they shall haue paine, as a woman that trauaileth: euery one shall be amased at his neighbour, and their faces shalbe like flames of fire.
9 ৯ দেখ, সদাপ্রভুর দিন নিষ্ঠুর ক্রোধ ও ভীষণ রাগের সঙ্গে আসছে, পৃথিবীকে নির্জনতা করার জন্য এবং এর মধ্যে থেকে পাপীদেরকে ধ্বংস করার জন্য।
Beholde, the day of the Lord commeth, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger to lay the land wast: and he shall destroy the sinners out of it.
10 ১০ আকাশের তারা ও নক্ষত্রপুঞ্জ আলো দেবে না; এমনকি সূর্য্য ওঠার দিনের ও অন্ধকার থাকবে এবং চাঁদ উজ্জ্বল হবে না।
For the starres of heauen and the planets thereof shall not giue their light: the sunne shalbe darkened in his going foorth, and the moone shall not cause her light to shine.
11 ১১ আমি তার মন্দতার জন্য পৃথিবীকে এবং অপরাধের জন্য দুষ্টদেরকে শাস্তি দেব। আমি গর্বিতদের অহঙ্কার শেষ করে দেব এবং নিষ্ঠুরদের অহঙ্কার দমন করব।
And I will visite the wickednes vpon the worlde, and their iniquitie vpon the wicked, and I wil cause the arrogancie of the proud to cease, and will cast downe the pride of tyrants.
12 ১২ আমি মানুষকে খাঁটি সোনার থেকেও দুর্লভ করব এবং ওফীরের সোনার চেয়ে মানবজাতিকে আরো বেশী দুর্লভ করব।
I will make a man more precious then fine golde, euen a man aboue the wedge of golde of Ophir.
13 ১৩ অতএব আমি আকাশমণ্ডলকে কাঁপাব এবং বাহিনীদের সদাপ্রভুর ক্রোধের দ্বারা এবং তাঁর প্রচণ্ড ক্রোধের দিনের পৃথিবী তার জায়গা থেকে নড়ে যাবে।
Therefore I will shake the heauen, and the earth shall remooue out of her place in the wrath of the Lord of hostes, and in the day of his fierce anger.
14 ১৪ শিকার করা হরিণের মত অথবা মেষপালক ছাড়া মেষের মত, প্রত্যেকে তার নিজের লোকদের কাছে ফিরে যাবে এবং প্রত্যেকে তার নিজের দেশে পালিয়ে যাবে।
And it shall be as a chased doe, and as a sheepe that no man taketh vp. euery man shall turne to his owne people, and flee eche one to his owne lande.
15 ১৫ যে কাউকে পাওয়া যাবে তাদেরকে মেরে ফেলা হবে এবং যে কাউকে ধরা হবে তাদেরকে তরোয়ালের দ্বারা মারা যাবে।
Euery one that is founde, shall be striken through: and whosoeuer ioyneth himselfe, shall fal by the sworde.
16 ১৬ তাদের চোখের সামনে শিশুদেরকে টুকরো করে ছুঁড়ে ফেলা হবে; তাদের বাড়ি লুট করা হবে ও তাদের স্ত্রীদের ধর্ষণ করা হবে।
Their children also shall be broken in pieces before their eyes: their houses shall be spoiled, and their wiues rauished.
17 ১৭ “দেখ, আমি তাদেরকে আঘাত করার জন্য মাদীয়দেরকে উত্তেজিত করব, যারা রূপার বিষয়ে চিন্তা করবে না, সোনাতেও আনন্দ করবে না।
Beholde, I will stirre vp the Medes against them, which shall not regarde siluer, nor be desirous of golde.
18 ১৮ তাদের তিরগুলি যুবকদের বিদ্ধ করবে; তারা শিশুদের প্রতি কোনো দয়া করবে না এবং ছেলে মেয়েদের প্রতি মমতা করবে না।
With bowes also shall they destroy ye children, and shall haue no compassion vpon the fruit of the wombe, and their eies shall not spare the children.
19 ১৯ এবং ব্যাবিলন, রাজ্যের সর্বাধিক প্রশংসিত, কলদীয়দের গর্বের মহিমা, ঈশ্বর সদোম ও ঘমোরার মত ধ্বংস করবেন।
And Babel the glorie of kingdomes, the beautie and pride of the Chaldeans, shall be as the destruction of God in Sodom and Gomorah.
20 ২০ এটা আর বসতিস্থান হবে না অথবা বংশের পর বংশ সেখানে বাস করবে না। আরবীয় সেখানে তাঁবু স্থাপন করবে না, মেষপালকেরাও সেখানে তার পশুপালকে বিশ্রাম করাবে না।
It shall not bee inhabited for euer, neither shall it be dwelled in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch his tents there, neither shall the shepheardes make their foldes there.
21 ২১ কিন্তু মরুপ্রান্তের প্রাণীরা সেখানে শুয়ে থাকবে, সেখানকার বাড়ীগুলো পেঁচায় পরিপূর্ণ হবে, উটপাখী এবং বুনো ছাগলেরা লাফিয়ে বেড়াবে।
But Ziim shall lodge there, and their houses shall be ful of Ohim: Ostriches shall dwel there, and the Satyrs shall dance there.
22 ২২ তাদের দুর্গের মধ্যে হায়না ডাকবে এবং খেঁকশিয়াল সুন্দর প্রাসাদের মধ্যে থাকবে। তার দিন এসে গেছে, তার দিন গুলো আর দেরী হবে না।”
And Iim shall crie in their palaces, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and the time thereof is readie to come, and the daies thereof shall not be prolonged.
