1 ১ প্রত্যেক মহাযাজক মানুষদের মধ্যে থেকে নির্বাচিত হয়ে মানুষদের জন্য ঈশ্বরের উদ্দেশ্যে কাজে নিযুক্ত হন, যেন তিনি পাপের প্রায়শ্চিত্তের জন্য উপহার ও বলি উৎসর্গ করেন।
