আদিপুস্তক 8

1 ১ আর ঈশ্বর নোহকে ও জাহাজে অবস্থিত তাঁর সঙ্গী পশু যাবতীয় প্রাণীকে স্মরণ করলেন, ঈশ্বর পৃথিবীতে বাতাস বহালেন, তাতে জল থামল।

and to remember God [obj] Noah and [obj] all [the] living thing and [obj] all [the] animal which with him in/on/with ark and to pass God spirit: breath upon [the] land: country/planet and to subside [the] water

2 ২ আর গভীর জলের উনুই ও আকাশের জানালা সকল বন্ধ এবং আকাশের মহাবৃষ্টি থামল।

and to stop spring abyss and window [the] heaven and to restrain [the] rain from [the] heaven

3 ৩ আর জল ক্রমশঃ মাটির ওপর থেকে সরে গিয়ে একশো পঞ্চাশ দিনের র শেষে কমে গেল।

and to return: return [the] water from upon [the] land: country/planet to go: continue and to return: again and to lack [the] water from end fifty and hundred day

4 ৪ তাতে সপ্তম মাসে, সতেরো দিনের অরারটের পর্বতের ওপরে জাহাজ লেগে থাকল।

and to rest [the] ark in/on/with month [the] seventh in/on/with seven ten day to/for month upon mountain: mount Ararat

5 ৫ পরে দশ মাস পর্যন্ত জল কমতে থাকল, ঐ দশ মাসের প্রথম দিনের পর্বতের শৃঙ্গ দেখা গেল।

and [the] water to be to go: went and to lack till [the] month [the] tenth in/on/with tenth in/on/with one to/for month to see: see head: top [the] mountain: mount

6 ৬ আর চল্লিশ দিন পরে নোহ নিজের বানানো জাহাজের জানালা খুলে, একটা দাঁড়কাক ছেড়ে দিলেন;

7 ৭ তাতে সে উড়ে ভূমির উপরের জল শুকনো না হওয়া পর্যন্ত এখানে ওখানে ঘোরাফেরা করতে লাগলো।

8 ৮ আর মাটির ওপরে জল কমেছে কি না, তা জানবার জন্য তিনি নিজের কাছ থেকে এক ঘুঘু ছেড়ে দিলেন।

and to send: depart [obj] [the] dove from with him to/for to see: see to lighten [the] water from upon face: surface [the] land: soil

9 ৯ তাতে সমস্ত পৃথিবী জলে ভরে থাকাতে ঘুঘু নামার জায়গা পেল না, তাই জাহাজে তাঁর কাছে ফিরে আসল। তখন তিনি হাত বাড়িয়ে তাকে ধরলেন ও জাহাজের ভিতরে নিজের কাছে রাখলেন।

and not to find [the] dove resting to/for palm: sole foot her and to return: return to(wards) him to(wards) [the] ark for water upon face: surface all [the] land: country/planet and to send: reach hand his and to take: take her and to come (in): bring [obj] her to(wards) him to(wards) [the] ark

10 ১০ পরে তিনি আর সাত দিন অপেক্ষা করে জাহাজ থেকে সেই ঘুঘু আবার ছেড়ে দিলেন

and to twist: anticipate still seven day another and to add: again to send: depart [obj] [the] dove from [the] ark

11 ১১ এবং ঘুঘুটি সন্ধ্যাবেলায় তাঁর কাছে ফিরে এল; আর দেখ, তার ঠোঁটে জিতগাছের একটা নতুন পাতা ছিল; এতে নোহ বুঝলেন, মাটির ওপরে জল কমেছে।

and to come (in): come to(wards) him [the] dove to/for time evening and behold leaf olive fresh-plucked in/on/with lip her and to know Noah for to lighten [the] water from upon [the] land: country/planet

12 ১২ পরে তিনি আর সাত দিন অপেক্ষা করে সেই ঘুঘু ছেড়ে দিলেন, তখন সে তাঁর কাছে আর ফিরে এল না।

and to wait: wait still seven day another and to send: depart [obj] [the] dove and not to add: again to return: return to(wards) him still

13 ১৩ [নোহের বয়সের] ছয়শো এক বছরের প্রথম মাসের প্রথম দিনের পৃথিবীর ওপরে জল শুকনো হল; তাতে নোহ জাহাজের ছাদ খুলে দেখলেন, আর দেখ, মাটিতে জল নেই।

and to be in/on/with one and six hundred year in/on/with first in/on/with one to/for month to dry [the] water from upon [the] land: country/planet and to turn aside: remove Noah [obj] covering [the] ark and to see: see and behold to dry face: surface [the] land: soil

14 ১৪ পরে দ্বিতীয় মাসের সাতাশ দিনের ভূমি শুকনো হল।

and in/on/with month [the] second in/on/with seven and twenty day to/for month to wither [the] land: country/planet

15 ১৫ পরে ঈশ্বর নোহকে বললেন,

and to speak: speak God to(wards) Noah to/for to say

16 ১৬ তুমি নিজের বউ, ছেলেদের ও ছেলের বউদেরকে সঙ্গে নিয়ে জাহাজ থেকে বাইরে যাও।

to come out: come from [the] ark you(m. s.) and woman: wife your and son: child your and woman: wife son: child your with you

17 ১৭ আর তোমার সঙ্গী পশু, পাখি ও মাটিতে চলা সরীসৃপ প্রভৃতি মাংসিক যত জীবজন্তু আছে, সেই সমস্ত কিছুকে তোমার সঙ্গে বাইরে আন, তারা পৃথিবীতে প্রাণীময় করুক এবং পৃথিবীতে ফলবান ও বহুবংশ হোক।

all [the] living thing which with you from all flesh in/on/with bird and in/on/with animal and in/on/with all [the] creeping [the] to creep upon [the] land: country/planet (to come out: send *Qk) with you and to swarm in/on/with land: country/planet and be fruitful and to multiply upon [the] land: country/planet

18 ১৮ তখন নোহ নিজের ছেলেদের এবং নিজের স্ত্রী ও ছেলের স্ত্রীদেরকে সঙ্গে নিয়ে বের হলেন।

and to come out: come Noah and son: child his and woman: wife his and woman: wife son: child his with him

19 ১৯ আর নিজের নিজের জাতি অনুসারে প্রত্যেক পশু, সরীসৃপ জীব ও পাখি, সমস্ত মাটিতে চলনশীল প্রাণী জাহাজ থেকে বের হল।

all [the] living thing all [the] creeping and all [the] bird all to creep upon [the] land: country/planet to/for family their to come out: come from [the] ark

20 ২০ পরে নোহ সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশ্যে যজ্ঞবেদি নির্মাণ করলেন এবং সমস্ত রকমের শুচি পশুর ও সমস্ত রকমের শুচি পাখির মধ্যে কতকগুলি নিয়ে বেদির ওপরে হোম করলেন।

and to build Noah altar to/for LORD and to take: take from all [the] animal [the] pure and from all [the] bird [the] pure and to ascend: offer up burnt offering in/on/with altar

21 ২১ তাতে সদাপ্রভু তার সুগন্ধ গ্রহণ করলেন, আর সদাপ্রভু মনে মনে বললেন, “আমি মানুষের জন্য মাটিকে আর অভিশাপ দেব না, কারণ বাল্যকাল পর্যন্ত মানুষের মনের কল্পনা দুষ্ট; যেমন করলাম, তেমন আর কখনও সকল প্রাণীকে ধ্বংস করব না।

and to smell LORD [obj] aroma [the] soothing and to say LORD to(wards) heart his not to add: again to/for to lighten still [obj] [the] land: soil in/on/with for the sake of [the] man for intention heart [the] man bad: evil from youth his and not to add: again still to/for to smite [obj] all alive like/as as which to make: do

22 ২২ যতদিন পৃথিবী থাকবে, ততদিন শস্য বোনার ও শস্য কাটার দিন এবং শীত ও উত্তাপ এবং গ্রীষ্মকাল ও হেমন্তকাল এবং দিন ও রাত, এই সমস্ত থেমে যাবে না।”

still all day [the] land: country/planet seed and harvest and cold and heat and summer and autumn and day and night not to cease
