আদিপুস্তক 7

1 ১ আর সদাপ্রভু নোহকে বললেন, “তুমি সপরিবারে জাহাজে প্রবেশ কর, কারণ এই কালের লোকদের মধ্যে আমার সামনে তোমাকেই ধার্মিক দেখেছি।

And he said Yahweh to Noah go you and all household your into the ark for you I have seen righteous before me in the generation this.

2 ২ তুমি শুচি পশুর স্ত্রীপুরুষ নিয়ে প্রত্যেক জাতির সাত সাত জোড়া এবং অশুচি পশুর স্ত্রী ও পুরুষ নিয়ে প্রত্যেক জাতির

Of all - the livestock clean you will take for yourself seven seven a male and female its and of the animal[s] which not [is] clean it two a male and female its.

3 ৩ এক এক জোড়া এবং আকাশের পাখিদেরও স্ত্রীপুরুষ নিয়ে প্রত্যেক জাতির সাত সাত জোড়া, সমস্ত ভূমণ্ডলে তাদের বংশ রক্ষার জন্য নিজের সঙ্গে রাখ।

Also of [the] bird[s] of the heavens seven seven male and female to preserve alive offspring on [the] surface of all the earth.

4 ৪ কারণ সাত দিনের র পর আমি পৃথিবীতে চল্লিশ দিন রাত বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করে আমার সৃষ্টি যাবতীয় প্রাণীকে পৃথিবী থেকে উচ্ছিন্ন করব।”

For to days yet seven I [am] about to bring rain on the earth forty day[s] and forty night[s] and I will wipe all the existence which I have made from on [the] surface of the ground.

5 ৫ তখন নোহ সদাপ্রভুর আদেশ অনুসারে সব কাজ করলেন।

And he did Noah according to all that he commanded him Yahweh.

6 ৬ নোহের ছয়শো বছর বয়সে পৃথিবীতে জলপ্লাবন হল।

And Noah [was] a son of six hundred year[s] and the flood was water on the earth.

7 ৭ জলপ্লাবনের জন্য নোহ ও তাঁর ছেলেরা এবং তাঁর স্ত্রী ও ছেলের বউরা জাহাজে প্রবেশ করলেন।

And he went Noah and sons his and wife his and [the] wives of sons his with him into the ark because of [the] waters of the flood.

8 ৮ নোহের প্রতি ঈশ্বরের আদেশ অনুসারে শুচি অশুচি পশুর

Of the animal[s] clean and of the animal[s] which not [was] it clean and of the bird[s] and all that [was] creeping on the ground.

9 ৯ এবং পাখির ও ভূমিতে চলাচল যাবতীয় জীবের স্ত্রী পুরুষ জোড়া জোড়া জাহাজে প্রবেশ করল, যেমন ঈশ্বর নোহকে আদেশ করেছিল।

Two two they came to Noah into the ark male and female just as he had commanded God Noah.

10 ১০ আর সেই সাত দিন পরে পৃথিবীতে জলপ্লাবন হল।

And it was to [the] seven the days and [the] waters of the flood they were on the earth.

11 ১১ নোহের বয়সের ছয়শো বছরের দ্বিতীয় মাসের সতেরো দিনের মহাজলধির সমস্ত উনুই ভেঙে গেল এবং আকাশের জানালা সব মুক্ত হল;

In year six hundred year of [the] life of Noah in the month second on [the] seven-teen day of the month on the day this they were split open all [the] springs of [the] deep great and [the] floodgates of the heavens they were opened.

12 ১২ তাতে পৃথিবীতে চল্লিশ দিন রাত মহাবৃষ্টি হল।

And it was the rain on the earth forty day[s] and forty night[s].

13 ১৩ সেই দিন নোহ এবং শেম, হাম ও যেফৎ নামে নোহের ছেলেরা এবং তাঁদের সঙ্গে নোহের স্ত্রী ও তিন ছেলের বউরা জাহাজে প্রবেশ করলেন।

On [the] substance of the day this he went Noah and Shem and Ham and Japheth [the] sons of Noah and [the] wife of Noah and [the] three [the] wives of sons his with them into the ark.

14 ১৪ আর তাঁদের সঙ্গে সর্বজাতীয় বন্য পশু, সবজাতীয় গ্রাম্য পশু, সবজাতীয় মাটিতে চলাচল করা সরীসৃপ জীব ও সবজাতীয় পাখি,

They and every animal to kind its and all the livestock to kind its and every creeping thing which creeps on the earth to kind its and every bird to kind its every bird every wing.

15 ১৫ প্রাণবায়ুবিশিষ্ট সর্বপ্রকার জীবজন্তু জোড়া জোড়া জাহাজে নোহের কাছে প্রবেশ করল।

And they came to Noah into the ark two two of all flesh which [was] in it [the] breath of life.

16 ১৬ ফলতঃ তাঁর প্রতি ঈশ্বরের আদেশ অনুসারে সমস্ত প্রাণীর স্ত্রী ও পুরুষ প্রবেশ করল। পরে সদাপ্রভু তাঁর জন্য পিছনের দরজা বন্ধ করলেন।

And those [which] came male and female of all flesh they came just as he had commanded him God and he closed Yahweh behind him.

17 ১৭ আর চল্লিশ দিন পর্যন্ত পৃথিবীতে বন্যা হল, তাতে জল বৃদ্ধি পেয়ে জাহাজ ভাসালে তা মাটি ছেড়ে উঠল।

And it was the flood forty day[s] on the earth and they increased the waters and they lifted the ark and it rose from on the earth.

18 ১৮ পরে জল প্রবল হয়ে পৃথিবীতে অনেক বেড়ে গেল এবং জাহাজ জলের উপরে ভেসে উঠল।

And they increased the waters and they increased exceedingly on the earth and it went the ark on [the] surface of the waters.

19 ১৯ আর পৃথিবীতে জল অত্যন্ত প্রবল হল, আকাশমণ্ডলের নীচের সব মহাপর্বত ডুবে গেল।

And the waters they increased exceedingly exceedingly on the earth and they were covered all the mountains high which [were] under all the heavens.

20 ২০ তার উপরে পনেরো হ্যাঁত জল উঠে প্রবল হল, পর্বত সকল ডুবে গেল।

Fif-teen cubit[s] from to above they increased the waters and they were covered the mountains.

21 ২১ তাতে মাটিতে চলাচল যাবতীয় প্রাণী, পাখি, পশুপাল ও বন্য পশু সব এবং সমস্ত মানুষ মারা গেল।

And it died all flesh - which crept on the earth among the bird[s] and among the livestock and among the animal[s] and among every swarming thing which swarms on the earth and every human.

22 ২২ মাটিতে চলনশীল যত প্রাণীর নাকে প্রাণবায়ুর সঞ্চার ছিল, সকলে মারা গেল।

All that [the] breath of [the] breath of life [was] in nostrils its from all that [was] on the dry ground they died.

23 ২৩ এই ভাবে পৃথিবী নিবাসী সমস্ত প্রাণী মানুষ, পশু, সরীসৃপ, জীব ও আকাশের পাখি সকল উচ্ছিন্ন হল, পৃথিবী থেকে উচ্ছিন্ন হল, কেবল নোহ ও তাঁর সঙ্গী জাহাজে প্রাণীরা বেঁচে গেলেন।

And he wiped out all the existence - which - [was] on [the] surface of the ground from humankind unto animal[s] unto creeping thing[s] and unto [the] bird[s] of the heavens and they were wiped out from the earth and he was left only Noah and which [were] with him in the ark.

24 ২৪ আর জল পৃথিবীর উপরে একশো পঞ্চাশ দিন পর্যন্ত প্রবল থাকল।

And they increased the waters on the earth fifty and one hundred day[s].
