আদিপুস্তক 39
1 ১ যোষেফকে মিশর দেশে নিয়ে যাওয়ার পর, যে ইশ্মায়েলীয়েরা তাকে সেখানে নিয়ে গিয়েছিল, তাদের কাছে ফরৌণের কর্মচারী পোটীফর তাকে কিনলেন, ইনি রক্ষক-সেনাপতি, একজন মিশরীয় লোক।
And Joseph he had been brought down Egypt towards and he bought him Potiphar [the] official of Pharaoh [the] commander of the bodyguards a man an Egyptian from [the] hand of the Ishmaelites who they had brought down him there towards.
And he was Yahweh with Joseph and he was a man successful and he was in [the] house of master his the Egyptian.
3 ৩ আর সদাপ্রভু তাঁর সঙ্গে আছেন এবং তিনি যা কিছু করেন, সদাপ্রভু তাঁর হাতে তা সফল করছেন, এটা তাঁর প্রভু দেখলেন।
And he saw master his that Yahweh [was] with him and all that he [was] doing Yahweh [was] making successful in hand his.
4 ৪ অতএব যোষেফ তার দৃষ্টিতে অনুগ্রহ প্রাপ্ত হলেন ও তার পরিচারক হলেন এবং তিনি যোষেফকে নিজের বাড়ির পরিচালক করে তার হাতে নিজের সব কিছুর দায়িত্ব দিলেন।
And he found Joseph favor in eyes his and he served him and he appointed him over household his and all [that] there [belonged] to him he gave in hand his.
5 ৫ যখন থেকে তিনি যোষেফকে নিজের বাড়ির ও সব কিছুর পরিচালক করলেন, তখন থেকে সদাপ্রভু যোষেফের অনুরোধে সেই মিশরীয় ব্যক্তির বাড়ির প্রতি আশীর্বাদ করলেন; বাড়িতে ও ক্ষেতে অবস্থিত তাঁর সমস্ত সম্পদের প্রতি সদাপ্রভু আশীর্বাদ করলেন।
And it was from then he appointed him in household his and over all that there [belonged] to him and he blessed Yahweh [the] household of the Egyptian on account of Joseph and it was [the] blessing of Yahweh on all that there [belonged] to him in the house and in the field.
6 ৬ অতএব তিনি যোষেফের হাতে নিজের সব কিছুর ভার দিলেন, তিনি নিজের খাবারের জিনিস ছাড়া আর কিছুরই বিষয়ে চিন্তা করতেন না। যোষেফ রূপবান ও সুন্দর ছিলেন।
And he left all that [belonged] to him in [the] hand of Joseph and not he knew with him anything that except the food which he [was] eating and he was Joseph handsome of form and handsome of appearance.
7 ৭ এই সব ঘটনার পর তাঁর প্রভুর স্ত্রী যোষেফের প্রতি দৃষ্টিপাত করল; আর তাঁকে বলল, “আমার সঙ্গে শয়ন কর।”
And it was after the things these and she lifted up [the] wife of master his eyes her to Joseph and she said lie! with me.
8 ৮ কিন্তু তিনি অস্বীকার করায় নিজের প্রভুর স্ত্রীকে বললেন, “দেখুন, এই বাড়িতে আমার হাতে কি কি আছে, আমার প্রভু তা জানেন না; আমারই হাতে সব কিছু রেখেছেন;
And he refused - and he said to [the] wife of master his here! lord my not he knows with me what? [is] in the house and all that there [belongs] to him he has given in hand my.
9 ৯ এই বাড়িতে আমার থেকে বড় কেউই নেই; তিনি সকলের মধ্যে শুধু আপনাকেই আমার অধীনা করেননি; কারণ আপনি তাঁর স্ত্রী। অতএব আমি কিভাবে এই এত বড় খারাপ কাজ করতে ও ঈশ্বরের বিরুদ্ধে পাপ করতে পারি?”
Not [is] he great in the household this more than me and not he has withheld from me anything that except you in that you [are] wife his and how? will I do the evil great this and I will sin to God.
10 ১০ সে দিন দিন যোষেফকে সেই কথা বললেও তিনি তার সঙ্গে শয়ন করতে কিম্বা সঙ্গে থাকতে তার কথায় রাজি হতেন না।
And it was when spoke she to Joseph day - day and not he listened to her to lie beside her to be with her.
And it was when the day this and he went the house towards to do work his and not anyone from [the] men of the house [was] there in the house.
12 ১২ তখন সে যোষেফের পোশাক ধরে বলল, “আমার সঙ্গে শয়ন কর৷” কিন্তু যোষেফ তার হাতে নিজের পোশাক ফেলে বাইরে পালিয়ে গেলেন।
And she seized him by clothing his saying lie! with me and he left clothing his in hand her and he fled and he went out the outside towards.
And it was when saw she that he had left clothing his in hand her and he had fled the outside towards.
14 ১৪ “দেখ, তিনি আমাদের সঙ্গে ঠাট্টা করতে একজন ইব্রীয় পুরুষকে এনেছেন; সে আমার সঙ্গে শয়ন করবার জন্য আমার কাছে এসেছিল, তাতে আমি চিৎকার করে উঠলাম;”
And she called out to [the] men of household her and she said to them saying see he has brought to us a man a Hebrew to mock us he came to me to lie with me and I called out with a voice great.
And it was when heard he that I raised voice my and I called out and he left clothing his beside me and he fled and he went out the outside towards.
And she placed clothing his beside her until came master his to house his.
17 ১৭ পরে সে সেই কথা অনুযায়ী তাঁকে বলল, “তুমি যে ইব্রীয় দাসকে আমাদের কাছে এনেছ, সে আমার সঙ্গে ঠাট্টা করতে আমার কাছে এসেছিল;
And she spoke to him according to the words these saying he came to me the servant the Hebrew whom you brought to us to mock me.
And it was when raised I voice my and I called out and he left clothing his beside me and he fled the outside towards.
19 ১৯ তাঁর প্রভু যখন নিজের স্ত্রীর এই কথা শুনলেন যে, “তোমার দাস আমার প্রতি এইরকম ব্যবহার করেছে,” তখন খুব রেগে গেলেন।
And it was when heard master his [the] words of wife his which she spoke to him saying according to the things these he did to me servant your and it burned anger his.
20 ২০ অতএব যোষেফের প্রভু তাঁকে নিয়ে কারাগারে রাখলেন, যে জায়গায় রাজার বন্দিরা বন্ধ থাকত; তাতে তিনি সেখানে, সেই কারাগারে থাকলেন।
And he took [the] master of Joseph him and he put him into [the] house of the prison [the] place where ([the] prisoners of *QK) the king [were] imprisoned and he was there in [the] house of the prison.
21 ২১ কিন্তু সদাপ্রভু যোষেফের সঙ্গে ছিলেন এবং তাঁর প্রতি দয়া করলেন ও তাঁকে কারারক্ষকের দৃষ্টিতে অনুগ্রহ-পাত্র করলেন।
And he was Yahweh with Joseph and he extended to him covenant loyalty and he gave favor his in [the] eyes of [the] commander of [the] house of the prison.
22 ২২ তাতে কারারক্ষক কারাগারে অবস্থিত সমস্ত বন্দির ভার যোষেফের হাতে সমর্পণ করলেন এবং সেখানকার লোকেদের সমস্ত কাজ যোষেফের আদেশ অনুযায়ী চলতে লাগল।
And he gave [the] commander of [the] house of the prison in [the] hand of Joseph all the prisoners who [were] in [the] house of the prison and all that [they were] doing there he he was doing.
23 ২৩ কারারক্ষক তাঁর অধিকারের কোনো বিষয়ে দেখতেন না, কারণ সদাপ্রভু তাঁর সঙ্গী ছিলেন এবং তিনি যা কিছু করতেন সদাপ্রভু তা সফল করতেন।
Not - [the] commander of [the] house of the prison [was] seeing all anything in hand his in that Yahweh [was] with him and [that] which he [was] doing Yahweh [was] making successful.
