আদিপুস্তক 15

1 ১ ঐ ঘটনার পরে দর্শনে সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য অব্রামের কাছে উপস্থিত হল, তিনি বললেন, “অব্রাম, ভয় কর না, আমিই তোমার ঢাল ও তোমার মহাপুরস্কার।”

2 ২ অব্রাম বললেন, “হে প্রভু সদাপ্রভু, তুমি আমাকে কি দেবে? আমি তো নিঃসন্তান হয়ে মারা যাচ্ছি এবং এই দম্মেশকীয় ইলীয়েষর আমার বাড়ির উত্তরাধিকারী।”

and to say Abram Lord YHWH/God what? to give: give to/for me and I to go: continue childless and son acquisition house: household my he/she/it Damascus Eliezer

3 ৩ আর অব্রাম বললেন, “দেখ, তুমি আমাকে সন্তান দিলে না এবং আমার গৃহের এক জন আমার উত্তরাধিকারী হবে।

and to say Abram look! to/for me not to give: give seed: children and behold son: child house: household my to possess: possess [obj] me

4 ৪ তখন দেখ, তাঁর কাছে সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য উপস্থিত হল, যেমন ঐ ব্যক্তি তোমার উত্তরাধিকারী হবে না, কিন্তু যে তোমার ঔরসে জন্মাবে, সেই তোমার উত্তরাধিকারী হবে।”

5 ৫ পরে তিনি তাঁকে বাইরে এনে বললেন, “তুমি আকাশের দিকে দেখে যদি তারা গুণতে পার, তবে গুনে বল; তিনি তাঁকে আরও বললেন এইরকম তোমার বংশ হবে।”

6 ৬ তখন তিনি সদাপ্রভুতে বিশ্বাস করলেন, আর সদাপ্রভু তাঁর পক্ষে তা ধার্ম্মিকতা বলে গণনা করলেন।

and be faithful in/on/with LORD and to devise: count her to/for him righteousness

7 ৭ আর তাঁকে বললেন, “যিনি তোমার অধিকারের জন্য এই দেশ দেবেন বলে কলদীয় দেশের ঊর থেকে তোমাকে বের করে এনেছেন, সেই সদাপ্রভু আমি।”

8 ৮ তখন তিনি বললেন, “হে প্রভু সদাপ্রভু, আমি যে এর অধিকারী হব, তা কিভাবে জানব?”

9 ৯ তিনি তাঁকে বললেন, “তুমি তিন বছরের এক গরু, তিন বছরের এক ছাগল, তিন বছরের একটি ভেড়া এবং এক ঘুঘু ও এক পায়রার বাচ্চা আমার কাছে আন।”

and to say to(wards) him to take: bring [emph?] to/for me heifer to do three and goat to do three and ram to do three and turtledove and young bird

10 ১০ পরে তিনি ঐ সব তাঁর কাছে এনে দুটো করে টুকরো করলেন এবং এক এক টুকরোর আগে অন্য অন্য টুকরো রাখলেন, কিন্তু পাখিদেরকে দুই টুকরো করলেন না।

and to take: bring to/for him [obj] all these and to cut up [obj] them in/on/with midst and to give: put man: anyone part his to/for to encounter: toward neighbor his and [obj] [the] bird not to cut up

11 ১১ পরে হিংস্র পাখিরা সেই মৃত পশুদের ওপরে পড়লে অব্রাম তাদেরকে তাড়িয়ে দিলেন।

and to go down [the] bird of prey upon [the] corpse and to blow [obj] them Abram

12 ১২ পরে সূর্য্য অস্ত যাবার দিনের অব্রাম গভীরভাবে ঘুমিয়ে পড়লেন; আর দেখ, তিনি ভয়ে ও ভয়ঙ্কার অন্ধকারে মগ্ন হলেন।

and to be [the] sun to/for to come (in): come and deep sleep to fall: fall upon Abram and behold terror darkness great: large to fall: fall upon him

13 ১৩ তখন তিনি অব্রামকে বললেন, নিশ্চয় জেনো, তোমার বংশধরেরা পরদেশে প্রবাসী থাকবে এবং বিদেশী লোকদের দাসত্ব করবে ও লোকে তাদেরকে চারশো বছর পর্যন্ত দুঃখ দেবে;

and to say to/for Abram to know to know for sojourner to be seed: children your in/on/with land: country/planet not to/for them and to serve them and to afflict [obj] them four hundred year

14 ১৪ আবার তারা যে জাতির দাস হবে, আমিই তাঁর বিচার করব; তারপরে তাঁরা যথেষ্ট সম্পত্তি নিয়ে বের হবে।

and also [obj] [the] nation which to serve to judge I and after so to come out: come in/on/with property great: large

15 ১৫ আর তুমি শান্তিতে নিজের পূর্বপুরুষদের কাছে যাবে ও ভালোভাবে বৃদ্ধ অবস্থায় কবর প্রাপ্ত হবে।

16 ১৬ আর [তোমার বংশের] চতুর্থ পুরুষ এই দেশে ফিরে আসবে; কারণ ইমোরীয়দের অপরাধ এখনও সম্পূর্ণ হয়নি।

17 ১৭ পরে সূর্য্য অস্ত হলে ও অন্ধকার হলে দেখ, ধোঁয়াযুক্ত উনুন ও জলন্ত বাতি ঐ দুটি টুকরোর মধ্য দিয়ে চলে গেল।

18 ১৮ সেই দিন সদাপ্রভু অব্রামের সঙ্গে নিয়ম স্থির করে বললেন, “আমি মিশরের নদী থেকে মহানদী, ফরাৎ নদী পর্যন্ত এই দেশ তোমার বংশকে দিলাম;

19 ১৯ কেনিয়, কনিষীয়, কদমোনীয়,

20 ২০ হিত্তীয়, পরিষীয়, রফারীয়,

and [obj] [the] Hittite and [obj] [the] Perizzite and [obj] [the] Rephaim

21 ২১ ইমোরীয়, কনানীয়, গির্গাশীয় ও যিবুষীয় লোকদের দেশ দিলাম।”

and [obj] [the] Amorite and [obj] [the] Canaanite and [obj] [the] Girgashite and [obj] [the] Jebusite
