1 ১ নোহের ছেলে শেম, হাম ও যেফতের বংশ বৃত্তান্ত এই। বন্যার পরে তাঁদের ছেলেমেয়ে জন্মাল।

These are the generations of the sonnes of Noe: of Sem Ham and Iapheth which begat them children after the floude.

2 ২ যেফতের ছেলে গোমর, মাগোগ, মাদয়, যবন, তূবল, মেশক ও তীরস।

The sonnes of Iapheth were: Gomyr Magog Madai Iauan Tuball Mesech and Thyras.

3 ৩ গোমরের ছেলে অস্কিনস, রীফৎ ও

And the sonnes of Gomyr were: Ascenas Riphat and Togarina.

4 ৪ তোগর্ম। যবনের ছেলে ইলীশা, তর্শীশ,

8 ৮ নিম্রদ কূশের ছেলে; তিনি পৃথিবীতে শক্তিশালী হতে লাগলেন।

13 ১৩ আর লূদীয়, অনামীয়,

14 ১৪ লহাবীয়, নপ্তুহীয়, পথ্রোষীয়, পলেষ্টীয়দের পূর্বপুরুষ কসলূহীয় এবং কপ্তরীয়, এই সব মিশরের সন্তান।

20 ২০ নিজের নিজের গোষ্ঠী, ভাষা, দেশ ও জাতি অনুসারে এই সব হামের ছেলে।

21 ২১ যে শেম এবারের সব লোকদের পূর্বপুরুষ, আর যেফতের বড় ভাই, তাঁরও ছেলেমেয়ে ছিল।

22 ২২ শেমের এই সকল ছেলে এলম, অশূর, অর্ফকষদ, লূদ ও অরাম।

And his sonnes were: Elam Assur Arphachsad Lud ad Aram.

23 ২৩ অরামের সন্তান ঊষ, হূল, গেথর ও মশ।

And ye childree of Aram were: Vz Hul Gether and Mas

24 ২৪ আর অর্ফকষদ শেলহের জন্ম দিলেন ও শেলহ এবারের জন্ম দিলেন।

And Arphachsad begat Sala and Sala begat Eber.

25 ২৫ এবারের দুই ছেলে; একের নাম পেলগ [বিভাগ], কারণ সেই দিনের পৃথিবী ভাগ হল। তাঁর ভাইয়ের নাম যক্তন।

And Eber begat. ij. sonnes. The name of the one was Peleg for in his tyme the erth was devyded. And the name of his brother was Iaketanr

26 ২৬ যক্তন অলমোদদ, শেলফ, হৎসর্মাবৎ, যেরহ,

Iaketan begat Almodad Saleph Hyzarmoneth Iarah

27 ২৭ হদোরাম, উষল, দিক্ল,

Hadoram Vsal Dikela

28 ২৮ ওবল, অবীমায়েল, শিবা,

Obal Abimach Seba

29 ২৯ ওফীর, হবীলা ও যোববের বাবা হলেন। এরা সবাই যক্তনের ছেলে।

Ophir Heuila and Iobab. All these are the sonnes of Iaketan.

30 ৩০ মেষা থেকে পূর্বদিকের সফার পর্বত পর্যন্ত তাদের বসতি ছিল।

32 ৩২ নিজের নিজের বংশ ও জাতি অনুসারে এরা নোহের ছেলেদের গোষ্ঠী এবং বন্যার পরে এদের থেকে তৈরী নানা জাতি পৃথিবীতে ভাগ হল।

These are the kynreddes of the sonnes of Noe in their generations and nations. And of these came the people that were in the world after the floude.
