যিহিস্কেল ভাববাদীর বই 37
1 ১ সদাপ্রভুর হাত আমার ওপরে এসেছিল এবং তিনি সদাপ্রভুর আত্মায় আমাকে বাইরে নিয়ে গিয়ে উপত্যকার মধ্যে রাখলেন; তা হাড়ে পরিপূর্ণ ছিল।
One day Yahweh gave me another vision. In the vision I felt the power [MTY] of God on me, and by his Spirit he took me to the middle of a valley. It was full of bones [of people who had been killed].
2 ২ পরে তিনি চারিদিকে তাদের কাছ দিয়ে আমাকে নিয়ে গেলেন; আর দেখ, সেই উপত্যকার ওপরে প্রচুর হাড় ছিল এবং দেখ, সে সব খুব শুকনো।
He led me to walk back and forth among those bones. I saw that there were very many bones there, bones that were very dry.
3 ৩ তিনি আমাকে বললেন, “হে মানুষের-সন্তান, এই সব হাড় কি জীবিত হবে?” তাই আমি বললাম, “হে প্রভু সদাপ্রভু আপনি জানেন।”
He asked me, “You human, [do you think that] these bones can become living [people again]?” I replied, “Yahweh my Lord, only you know [if that can happen].”
4 ৪ তখন তিনি আমাকে বললেন, “তুমি এই সব হাড়ের উদ্দেশ্যে ভাববাণী বল, তাদেরকে বল, ‘হে শুকনো হাড় সব সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য শোনো।
Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones. Say to them, ‘You dry bones, listen to what Yahweh says.
This is what Yahweh the Lord says to you bones: I will put my breath into each of you, and you will become alive again.
6 ৬ তোমার জীবিত হবে। আর আমি তোমাদের ওপরে শিরা দেব, তোমাদের উপরে মাংস উৎপন্ন করব, চামড়া দিয়ে তোমাদেরকে ঢেকে দেব ও তোমাদের মধ্যে নিশ্বাস দেব, তাতে তোমার জীবিত হবে, আর তোমার জানবে যে, আমিই সদাপ্রভু।”
I will fasten tendons to your bones, and cause your bones to be covered with flesh. I will cover the flesh with skin. Then I will breathe into you, and you will become alive. When that happens, you will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].’”
7 ৭ তখন আমি যেমন আজ্ঞা পেলাম, সেই অনুসারে ভাববাণী বললাম; আর আমার ভাববাণী বলবার দিনের শব্দ হল, আর দেখ, কম্পনের শব্দ হল এবং সেই সব হাড়ের মধ্যে প্রত্যেক হাড় নিজেদের হাড়ের সঙ্গে সংযুক্ত হল।
So I spoke to the bones what Yahweh commanded me to speak. As I was speaking, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bones joining to each other.
8 ৮ আমি দেখলাম, আর দেখ, তাদের ওপরে শিরা হল ও মাংস বৃদ্ধি পেল এবং চামড়া তাদেরকে ঢেকে দিল, কিন্তু তাদের মধ্যে জীবন ছিল না।
While I was looking, I saw tendons fastening to them and flesh covering them, and then skin covered the flesh, but they did not breathe.
9 ৯ পরে তিনি আমাকে বললেন, নিশ্বাসের উদ্দেশ্যে ভাববাণী বল, হে মানুষের-সন্তান ভাববাণী বল এবং নিশ্বাস কে বল, প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, হে নিশ্বাস; চারি বায়ু থেকে এস এবং এই মৃত লোকেদের ওপরে বয়ে যাও, যেন তারা জীবিত হয়।
Then he said to me, “You human, prophesy to the wind. Say to the wind, ‘Wind [APO], Yahweh says to you, blow from all four directions. Breathe into these people who have been killed, in order that they can become alive again!’”
10 ১০ তখন তিনি আমাকে যে আজ্ঞা দিলেন, সেই অনুসারে আমি ভাববাণী বললাম; তাতে আত্মা তাদের মধ্যে প্রবেশ করল এবং তারা জীবিত হল ও নিজেদের পায়ে ভর দিয়ে দাঁড়াল; সে খুব বিরাট বাহিনী।
So I said what he commanded me to say, and then breath entered them. They became alive and stood up, like a huge army.
11 ১১ পরে তিনি আমাকে বললেন, হে মানুষের-সন্তান, এই সব হাড় সব ইস্রায়েল কুলের; দেখ, তারা বলছে, আমাদের হাড় সব শুকনো হয়ে গিয়েছে এবং আমাদের আশ্বাস নষ্ট হয়েছে; আমরা একেবারে উচ্ছিন্ন হলাম।
Then he said to me, “You human, these bones represent all the Israeli people [MTY]. The people say, ‘[It is as though] our bones are dried up; there are no more good things that we can (hope for/confidently expect to happen to us); our nation is destroyed/finished.’
12 ১২ এই জন্য তুমি ভাববাণী বল, তাদেরকে বল, প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, দেখ, আমি তোমাদের কবর সব খুলে দেব, হে আমার প্রজা সব, তোমাদের কবর থেকে তোমাদেরকে ওঠাব এবং তোমাদেরকে ইস্রায়েল-দেশে নিয়ে যাব।
So prophesy and say to them, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says: My people, [it will be as though] I will open your graves and cause your corpses to become alive again. I will bring you back to Israel.
13 ১৩ তখন তোমার জানবে যে, আমিই সদাপ্রভু, কারণ আমি তোমাদের কবর সব খুলে দেব এবং হে আমার প্রজা সব, তোমাদের কবর থেকে তোমাদেরকে ওঠাব।
Then, what that happens, you my people will know that I, Yahweh the Lord, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].
14 ১৪ আর আমি তোমাদের মধ্যে নিজের নিশ্বাস দেব, তাতে তোমার জীবিত হবে এবং আমি তোমাদেরকে নিজের দেশে বাস করাব যখন তোমার জানবে যে, আমি সদাপ্রভু এটা বলেছি এবং এটা করেছি’;” সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন।
I will put my Spirit in you, and [it will be as though] you will become alive again, and I will enable you to live in your own land again. Then you will know that it is I, Yahweh, who said [that it would happen] and who has caused it to happen. That is what I, Yahweh, declare.’”
Yahweh gave me [another] message. He said,
16 ১৬ “হে মানুষের-সন্তান তুমি নিজের জন্য একটা কাঠ নিয়ে তার ওপরে এই কথা লেখো, যিহূদার জন্য এবং তার সঙ্গী ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানদের জন্য। পরে একখানি কাঠ নিয়ে তার ওপরে লেখো, যোষেফের জন্য, এটা ইফ্রয়িমের ও তার সঙ্গী সব ইস্রায়েল কুলের কাঠ।
“You human, take a piece of wood and write on it, ‘This represents Judah and all the tribes of Judah.’ Then take another piece of wood and write on it, ‘This represents Israel and all the tribes of Israel.’
Then join them together to become [as though they were] one piece of wood in your hand.
When your fellow Israelis ask you, ‘What does (this action/what you just did) mean?’,
19 ১৯ তখন তুমি তাদেরকে বল, ‘প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, দেখ, ইফ্রয়িমের হাতে যোষেফের যে কাঠ আছে, আমি তা গ্রহণ করব, তাদেরকে ওর অর্থাৎ যিহূদার কাঠের সঙ্গে জোড়া দেব এবং তাদেরকে একটি কাঠ করব, তাতে সে সব আমার হাতে এক হবে।
tell them, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says: One of the pieces of wood in my hand represents Israel and all the tribes of Israel. I am joining it to the piece of wood that represents Judah, to form one piece of wood in his hand.’
Then, [you human], hold up the pieces of wood that you have written on, in order that the people can see them.
21 ২১ আর তুমি তাদেরকে বল, প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, দেখ! ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানেরা যেখানে গিয়েছে, আমি সেখানকার জাতিদের মধ্যে থেকে তাদেরকে গ্রহণ করব এবং চারিদিক থেকে তাদেরকে জড়ো করে তাদের দেশে নিয়ে যাব।
Say to the people, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says: I will take you Israeli people out of the countries to which you have been forced to go. I will gather you from all those nations and bring you back to your own land.
22 ২২ আর আমি সেই দেশে, ইস্রায়েলের পর্বতগুলিতে, তাদেরকে একই জাতি করব ও একই রাজা তাদের সবার রাজা হবেন; তারা আর দুই জাতি হবে না, আর কখনও দুই রাজ্যে বিভক্ত হবে না।
And I will cause you to again be one nation in that land, on the mountains in Israel. And there will be one king to rule over all of you. Never again will you be two nations or divided into two kingdoms.
23 ২৩ আর তারা নিজেদের মূর্ত্তি ও জঘন্য জিনিস দিয়ে এবং নিজেদের কোনো অধর্ম্ম দ্বারা নিজেদেরকে আর অশুচি করবে না; হ্যাঁ, যে সব জায়গায় তারা পাপ করেছে, তাদের সেই বাসস্থান থেকে আমি তাদেরকে নিস্তার করব এবং তাদেরকে শুচি করব; তাতে তারা আমার প্রজা হবে এবং আমি তাদের উপরে ঈশ্বর হব।
No longer will you (defile yourselves/make yourselves unacceptable to me) by [worshiping] idols and disgusting statues [of your gods], because I will enable you to quit your sinful behavior and to stop rejecting me. You will be my people, and I will be your God.
24 ২৪ আর আমার দাস দায়ূদ তাদের ওপরে রাজা হবেন; তাদের সবার এক পালক হবে এবং তারা আমার শাসন-পথে চলবে, আর আমার বিধিকলাপ রক্ষা করে সেই অনুযায়ী আচরণ করবে।
[Someone who will be like] [MET] [King] David who served [me well] will be the king [of your descendants], and [it will be as though] [MET] he will be their shepherd. They will carefully obey all my laws [DOU].
25 ২৫ আর আমি নিজের দাস যাকোবকে যে দেশ দিয়েছি, যার মধ্যে তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষেরা বাস করত, সেই দেশে তারা বাস করবে, তারা ও তাদের ছেলেমেয়েরা এবং তাদের নাতি নাতনিরা চিরকাল বাস করবে এবং আমার দাস দায়ূদ চিরকালের জন্য তাদের অধ্যক্ষ হবেন।
They will live in the land that I gave to Jacob, who also served [me well]; they will live in the land where your ancestors lived. They and their children and their grandchildren will live there forever, and [the one who will be like] [MET] [King] David will be their king forever.
26 ২৬ আর আমি তাদের জন্য শান্তির এক নিয়ম স্থির করব; তাদের সঙ্গে তা চিরকালীন নিয়ম হবে; আমি তাদেরকে বসাব ও বাড়াব এবং নিজের ধর্মধাম চিরকালের জন্য তাদের মধ্যে স্থাপন করব।
I will make a peace agreement with them; it will be an agreement that will endure forever. I will again give them that land and cause their population to increase. And I will put my temple among them forever.
The place where I will live will be among them; I will be their God and they will be my people.
28 ২৮ তখন আমি যে ইস্রায়েলের পবিত্রকারী সদাপ্রভু, তা জাতিরা জানবে, কারণ আমার ধর্মধাম তাদের মধ্যে চিরকাল থাকবে’।”
Then, when my temple is forever there among them, the people of other nations will know that I, Yahweh, have caused the Israeli people to be set apart [to belong to me].’”
