The word of Jehovah came again to me, saying:
Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Howl ye, Alas! alas for the day!
For the day is near, the day of Jehovah is near! A day of clouds, the time of the nations is come.
4 ৪ মিশরে তরোয়াল প্রবেশ করবে ও কূশে ক্লেশ হবে; কারণ তখন মিশরে নিহত লোকেরা পড়ে যাবে, তারা তার লোকেদের নিয়ে নেবে ও তার ভিত্তিমূল সব ধ্বংস হবে।
The sword shall come upon Egypt, and anguish shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be destroyed.
5 ৫ কূশ, পূট ও লূদ এবং সমস্ত মিশ্রিত লোক আর কূব ও মিত্রদেশীয় লোকেরা তাদের সঙ্গে তরোয়ালে পতিত হবে।”
Ethiopia, and Lybia, and Lydia, and all her auxiliaries, and Chub, and the men of every country that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword.
6 ৬ সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, যারা মিশরের স্তম্ভ-স্বরূপ, তারাও পতিত হবে এবং তার পরাক্রমের গর্ব নীচু হবে; সেখানে মিগ্দোল থেকে সিবেনী পর্যন্ত লোকেরা তরোয়ালে পতিত হবে, এটা প্রভু সদাপ্রভু বলেন।
Thus saith Jehovah: They that uphold Egypt shall fall, and the pride of her power shall come down; from Migdol to Syene shall they fall in her by the sword, saith the Lord Jehovah.
And they shall be laid waste in the midst of the lands that are laid waste, and her cities shall be amongst the cities that are desolate.
And they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I have brought a fire into Egypt, and all her helpers shall be destroyed.
9 ৯ সেই দিনের নিশ্চিন্ত কূশকে উদ্বিগ্ন করার জন্যে দূতেরা নৌকায় করে আমার কাছ থেকে বের হবে, তাতে মিশরের দিনের যেমন হয়েছিল, তেমনি তাদের মধ্যে ক্লেশ হবে; কারণ দেখ, তা আসছে।
In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships, to make the confident Ethiopians afraid; and anguish shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt; for behold, it cometh!
10 ১০ প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, আমি বাবিলের রাজা নবূখদ্নিৎসরের হাতের দ্বারা মিশরের জনজাতিকে শেষ করব।
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon.
11 ১১ সে এবং তার লোকেরা, জাতিদের মধ্যে সেই সেনারা দেশের ধ্বংসের জন্যে আনা হবে এবং মিশরের বিরুদ্ধে নিজেদের তরোয়াল বের করবে ও মৃত লোকে দেশ পরিপূর্ণ করবে।
He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought to make the land desolate; and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain.
12 ১২ আর আমি জলপ্রবাহগুলিকে শুকনো জায়গা করব, দেশকে দুষ্ট লোকেদের হাতে বিক্রি করব ও বিদেশীদের হাত দিয়ে দেশ ও সেখানকার সবই ধ্বংস করব; আমি সদাপ্রভু এটা বললাম।
And I will make the rivers dry, and I will sell the land into the hand of evil men; and I will lay waste the land and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers; I, Jehovah, have spoken it.
13 ১৩ প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, আমি মূর্তিগুলিও বিনষ্ট করব, নোফ থেকে অযোগ্য প্রতিমা সব শেষ করব, মিশর দেশ থেকে কোনো অধ্যক্ষ আর উৎপন্ন হবে না এবং আমি মিশর দেশে ভয় দেব।
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will destroy the idols, and cause the images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt; and I will bring fear upon the land of Egypt:
And I will lay waste Pathros, and bring a fire upon Zoan, and execute judgments upon No.
And I will pour out my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt, and I will cut off the multitude of No.
16 ১৬ আমি মিশরে আগুন লাগাব; ক্লেশে সীন ছটফট্ করবে, নো-শহর ভগ্ন হবে এবং নোফে বিপক্ষেরা প্রত্যেকদিন আসবে।
And I will bring a fire upon Egypt; Sin shall tremble, and No shall be broken through, and Noph shall be plundered by day.
The young men of On and of Pibeseth shall fall by the sword, and the women shall go into captivity.
18 ১৮ আর তফনহেষে দিন অন্ধকার হয়ে যাবে, কারণ তখন সেই জায়গায় আমি মিশরের যোঁয়ালী সব ভেঙে ফেলব; তাতে তার মধ্যে তার পরাক্রমের শক্তি শেষ হবে; সে নিজে মেঘাচ্ছন্ন হবে ও তার মেয়েরা বন্দিত্বের জায়গায় যাবে।
At Tahpanhes also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yoke of Egypt, and the pride of her strength shall cease within her. A cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.
Thus will I execute judgments upon Egypt; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
Now it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, on the seventh day of the month, that the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
21 ২১ “হে মানুষের-সন্তান, আমি মিশরের রাজা ফরৌণের হাত ভেঙ্গেছি, আর দেখ, প্রতিকারের জন্য, পট্টি দিয়ে তা বাঁধবার জন্য তরোয়াল ধারনের উপযুক্ত শক্তি দেবার জন্য, তা বাঁধা হয়নি।”
Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and lo, it is not bound up, so as to have medicines applied to it; a bandage is not applied to it, to make it strong to hold the sword.
22 ২২ এই জন্য প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, “দেখ, আমি মিশরের রাজা ফরৌণের বিরুদ্ধে, আমি তার বলবান ও ভাঙ্গা উভয় হাত ভেঙে ফেলব এবং তরোয়ালকে তার হাত থেকে ফেলে দেব।
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against Pharaoh, the king of Egypt; and I will break his arms, both the strong one, and that which was broken, and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.
And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them through the countries.
24 ২৪ আর আমি বাবিলের রাজার হাত বলবান করব ও তারই হাতে আমার তরোয়াল দেব; কিন্তু ফরৌণের হাত ভেঙে ফেলব, তাতে সে ওর সামনে আহত লোকের কাতরোক্তির মত কাতরোক্তি করবে।
But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and will put my sword into his hand, and break the arms of Pharaoh, so that he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man.
25 ২৫ আর আমি বাবিলের রাজার হাত বলবান করব, কিন্তু ফরৌণের হাত ঝুলে পড়বে; তাতে লোকেরা জানবে যে, আমিই সদাপ্রভু, যখন আমি বাবিলের রাজার হাতে আমার তরোয়াল দেব এবং সে মিশর দেশের বিরুদ্ধে তা বিস্তার করবে।
Yea, I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.
26 ২৬ আর আমি মিশরীয়দেরকে জাতিদের মধ্যে ছিন্নভিন্ন ও নানাদেশে বিকীর্ন করব; তাতে তারা জানবে যে আমিই সদাপ্রভু।”
And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among the countries, and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
