যিহিস্কেল ভাববাদীর বই 2

1 ১ তিনি আমাকে বললেন, মানুষের সন্তান, তোমার পায়ের ওপর দাড়াও; তবে আমি তোমার সঙ্গে কথা বলবো।

It [is] the appearance of the likeness of the honour of Jehovah, and I see, and fall on my face, and I hear a voice speaking, and He saith unto me, 'Son of man, stand on thy feet, and I speak with thee.'

2 ২ তারপর ঈশ্বরের আত্মা আমাকে গ্রহণ করলেন আমার সঙ্গে কথা বলার জন্য, তখন আত্মা আমার ভিতরে ঢুকে আমাকে পায়ে ভর দিয়ে দাঁড় করালেন এবং তিনি আমার সঙ্গে কথা বললেন আমি শুনলাম।

And there doth come into me a spirit, when He hath spoken unto me, and it causeth me to stand on my feet, and I hear Him who is speaking unto me.

3 ৩ তিনি আমাকে বললেন, “মানুষের সন্তান, আমি তোমাকে ইস্রায়েলের লোকেদের কাছে পাঠাচ্ছি, বিদ্রোহী জাতিদের কাছে পাঠাচ্ছি; তারা আমার বিদ্রোহী হয়েছে, আজ পর্যন্ত তারা ও তাদের পূর্বপুরুষেরা আমার বিরুদ্ধে পাপ করেছে।

And He saith unto Me, 'Son of man, I am sending thee unto the sons of Israel, unto nations who are rebels, who have rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me, unto this self-same day.

4 ৪ তাদের বংশধরদের একগুঁয়ে মুখ এবং কঠিন হৃদয় আছে। আমি তাদের কাছে তোমাকে পাঠাচ্ছি। এবং তুমি তাদেরকে বলবে, ‘এই কথা সদাপ্রভু বলেন।

And the sons [are] brazen-faced and hard-hearted to whom I am sending thee, and thou hast said unto them: Thus said the Lord Jehovah:

5 ৫ তারা শুনুক বা না শুনুক, তারা তো বিদ্রোহী গৃহ, কিন্তু তারা কমপক্ষে জানতে পারবে, যে তাদের মধ্যে এক জন ভাববাদী আছে।

and they — whether they hear, or whether they forbear, for a rebellious house they [are] — have known that a prophet hath been in their midst.

6 ৬ এবং তুমি, মানুষের সন্তান, তাদের কথায় ভয় পেয়ো না। ভয় পেয়ো না, যদিও তুমি কাঁটা গাছের ঝোপ ও কাঁটার সঙ্গে আছো এবং তুমি কাঁকড়াবিছের মধ্যে বাস করছো। তাদের কথায় ভয় পেয়ো না অথবা তাদের মুখ দেখে আতঙ্কিত হয়ো না, তারা বিদ্রোহী গৃহ।

'And thou, son of man, thou art not afraid of them, yea, of their words thou art not afraid, for briers and thorns are with thee, and near scorpions thou art dwelling, of their words thou art not afraid, and of their faces thou art not affrighted, for they [are] a rebellious house,

7 ৭ কিন্তু তুমি তাদের কাছে আমার কথা বলবে, তারা শুনুক বা না শুনুক; কারণ তারা তো অত্যন্ত বিদ্রোহী।

And thou hast spoken My words unto them, whether they hear or whether they forbear, for they [are] rebellious.

8 ৮ কিন্তু তুমি, মানুষের সন্তান, শোন আমি তোমাকে যা বলি, তুমি সেই বিদ্রোহী গৃহের মত বিদ্রোহী হয়ো না। আমি তোমাকে যা দিই তোমার মুখ খোল এবং খাও’।”

'And thou, son of man, hear that which I am speaking unto thee: Thou art not rebellious like the rebellious house, open thy mouth, and eat that which I am giving unto thee.'

9 ৯ তারপর আমি তাকালাম, একটা হাত আমার দিকে বাড়ানো ছিল; তার ভেতর একটা গোটানো বই ছিল।

And I look, and lo, a hand [is] sent forth unto me, and lo, in it a roll of a book,

10 ১০ তিনি আমার সামনে তা মেলে ধরলেন; তার সামনে ও পেছনে দুদিকেই লেখা ছিল, বইটির ভেতরে বাইরে এবং বিলাপ, শোক ও দুঃখের কথা তাতে লেখা ছিল।

and He spreadeth it before me, and it is written in front and behind, and written on it [are] lamentations, and mourning, and woe!
