The word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 ২ “মানুষের সন্তান, ইস্রায়েলে যারা ভাববাদীদের বিরুদ্ধে ভাববাণী বলে এবং তাদের বল যারা নিজের মন থেকে ভাববাণী বলে, তোমার সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য শোন।
"Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy out of their own heart, 'Hear the word of the LORD:
3 ৩ প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এ কথা বলেন, দুর্ভাগ্য সেই নির্বোধ ভাববাদীদের, যারা নিজের আত্মাকে অনুসরণ করে কিন্তু কিছুই দেখে নি।
Thus says the LORD, "Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing.
Israel, your prophets have been like foxes in the waste places.
5 ৫ তোমার ইস্রায়েল কুলের চারদিকের দেওয়ালের কোন ফাটলের কাছে যাওনি সেগুলো মেরামত করার জন্য এবং সদাপ্রভুর দিনের যুদ্ধে প্রতিরোধ করার জন্য।
You have not gone up into the breaches, neither built up the wall for the house of Israel, to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD."
6 ৬ লোকেরা মিথ্যা দর্শন পেয়েছে, মিথ্যা ভবিষ্যৎবাণী করেছো, তারা বলে, ‘এমনই সদাপ্রভু বলেন’,” সদাপ্রভু তাদেরকে পাঠাননি; কিন্তু তারা তবুও আশা করেছে তাদের বাক্য সত্যি হবে।
They have seen falsehood and lying divination, who say, "The LORD says"; but the LORD has not sent them: and they have made men to hope that the word would be confirmed.
7 ৭ তোমাদের কি মিথ্যা দর্শন নয় এবং মিথ্যা ভবিষ্যদ্বাণী করনি, তোমার যারা বল, এমনই সদাপ্রভু বলেন যখন আমি নিজে একথা বলিনি?
"Haven't you seen a false vision, and haven't you spoken a lying divination, in that you say, "The LORD says"; but I have not spoken?
8 ৮ তাই প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেছেন কারণ তোমাদের মিথ্যা দর্শন ছিল এবং তোমার মিথ্যা বলেছো তাই প্রভু সদাপ্রভু তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে এ কথা বলেন।
Therefore thus says the LORD: Because you have spoken falsehood, and seen lies, therefore, look, I am against you, says the LORD.
9 ৯ আমার হাত ভাববাদীদের বিরুদ্ধে হবে, যারা মিথ্যা দর্শন পায় এবং মিথ্যা ভাববাণী বলে তারা আমার প্রজাদের সভায় থাকবে না এবং ইস্রায়েল কুলের বংশাবলিপত্রে উল্লেখ করা হবে না, তারা অবশ্যই ইস্রায়েল-দেশে যাবে না; তাতে তোমার জানবে যে, আমিই প্রভু সদাপ্রভু।
My hand shall be against the prophets who see false visions, and who divine lies: they shall not be in the council of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and you shall know that I am the LORD.
10 ১০ এর কারণ তারা আমার লোকেদের বিপথে নিয়ে গেল এবং বলল শান্তি যখন সেখানে শান্তি নেই, তারা দেওয়াল তৈরী করেছে যাতে তারা সাদা রং দিয়ে কলি করবে।
Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, 'Peace'; and there is no peace; and when one builds up a wall, look, they plaster it with whitewash:
11 ১১ তাদেরকে বল যারা দেওয়ালে রং করবে, তা পড়ে যাবে, প্লাবনকারী বৃষ্টি আসবে; আমি শিল পাঠাবো যাতে দেওয়াল পড়ে যায়, তোমার পড়ে যাবে এবং ভেঙে পড়ে যাবার জন্য ঝড় বাতাস দেব।
tell those who plaster it with whitewash, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and you, great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind break out.
12 ১২ দেখ, দেওয়াল ভেঙে পড়ে যাবে। তখন এ কথা অন্যেরা তোমাদেরকে জিজ্ঞাসা করবে না, তোমার যা দিয়ে রং করেছ, সেটা কোথায়?
Look, when the wall has fallen, shall it not be said to you, 'Where is the plaster with which you have plastered it?'
13 ১৩ অতএব প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এ কথা বলেন, আমি রাগে ঝড় আনবো, আমার রাগে প্লাবনকারী বৃষ্টি আসবে এবং আমার রাগে ঝড় আসবে আর সম্পূর্ণ ধ্বংস করে দেবে।
"'"Therefore thus says the LORD: I will even tear it with a stormy wind in my wrath; and there shall be an overflowing shower in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it.
14 ১৪ আমি দেয়াল ভেঙে দেব যা তোমার রঙে ঢেকে দিয়েছিলে এবং আমি ধ্বংস করে মাটিতে মিশিয়ে দেবো এবং ভিত্তি খালি করে রাখবো। তাই এটা পড়ে যাবে। এর মাঝখানে তোমাদেরকে বিলুপ্ত করে দেবো। তারপর তোমার জানবে যে আমি সদাপ্রভু।
So will I break down the wall that you have plastered with whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation shall be uncovered; and it shall fall, and you shall be consumed in its midst: and you shall know that I am the LORD.
15 ১৫ এই ভাবে আমি সেই ভিত্তিতে এবং যারা তা লেপন করেছে তাদের ওপর রাগ সম্পন্ন করব; আমি তোমাদেরকে বলব, সেই ভিত্তি আর নেই এবং তার লেপনকারিরাও নেই;
Thus will I accomplish my wrath on the wall, and on those who have plastered it with whitewash; and I will tell you, 'The wall is no more, neither those who plastered it;
16 ১৬ ইস্রায়েলের ভাববাদীরা যারা যিরুশালেমের বিষয়ে ভাববাণী করেছিল এবং তার জন্য শান্তির দর্শন ছিল। কিন্তু সেখানে শান্তি ছিল না সে ভাববাদীগন নাই; এটা প্রভু সদাপ্রভু বলেন।
to wit, the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace,'"' says the LORD."
17 ১৭ তাই তুমি, মানুষের সন্তান, তোমার জাতির যে মেয়েরা নিজের মন থেকে ভাববাণী বলে, তুমি তাদের বিরুদ্ধে তোমার মুখ রাখ এবং তাদের বিরুদ্ধে ভাববাণী বল।
"You, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy against them,
18 ১৮ বল, প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এ কথা বলেন, দুর্ভাগ্য সেই স্ত্রীলোকদের, যারা হাতের প্রত্যেক অংশে জাদু আকর্ষণের জন্য সেলাই করে ও তাদের মাথার জন্য প্রত্যেক মাপের ঘোমটা তৈরী করে লোকেদের ফাঁদে ফেলার জন্য। তোমার কি আমার লোকেদের ফাঁদে ফেলতে পারবে কিন্তু তোমার কি তোমাদের জীবন বাঁচাতে পারবে?
and say, 'Thus says the LORD: "Woe to the women who sew pillows on all elbows, and make kerchiefs for the head of persons of every stature to hunt souls. Will you hunt the souls of my people, and save souls alive for yourselves?
19 ১৯ তোমার দুই এক মুঠো যব বা দু-এক টুকরো রুটির জন্য আমার প্রজাদের মধ্যে আমাকে অপবিত্র করেছো, লোকেদের হত্যা করতে চাও যাদের মরা উচিত নয় এবং সে সব জীবন রক্ষা করছো যাদের বাঁচা উচিত নয়, কারণ তুমি আমার লোকেদের কাছে মিথ্যা কথা যারা শুনেছে।
You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to kill the souls who should not die, and to save the souls alive who should not live, by your lying to my people who listen to lies."
20 ২০ অতএব প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এ কথা বলেন, দেখ, আমি জাদু আকর্ষণের বিরুদ্ধে যা তুমি ব্যবহার করেছো মানুষের জীবনকে ফাঁদে ফেলার জন্য যেন তারা পাখী, অবশ্যই আমি তোমাদের বাহু থেকে তাদের বিচ্ছিন্ন করবো এবং তোমার যাদেরকে পাখির মত ফাঁদে ফেল, আমি তাদেরকে মুক্ত করবো।
"'Therefore thus says the LORD: "Look, I am against your pillows, with which you there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms; and I will let the souls go, even the souls whom you hunt to make them fly.
21 ২১ আমি তোমাদের ঘোমটা ছিঁড়ে ফেলব এবং তোমাদের হাত থেকে উদ্ধার করব; যাতে তারা ভবিষ্যতে আর তোমাদের ফাঁদে পড়ার জন্য তোমাদের হাতে থাকবে না এবং তুমি জানবে যে আমি সদাপ্রভু।
Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and you shall know that I am the LORD.
22 ২২ কারণ তুমি ধার্ম্মিকের হৃদয়কে শক্তিহীন কর মিথ্যাকথা দিয়ে, এমনকি যদিও আমি মনে করি না তার মন ভেঙে গেছে এবং তার বদলে দুষ্ট লোকের কাজকে উত্সাহিত করেছো, যেন সে জীবন বাঁচাবার জন্য তার পথ থেকে না ফেরে
Because with lies you have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, and be saved alive:
23 ২৩ এই জন্য তোমার মিথ্যা দর্শন আর দেখিবে না অথবা তোমার ভবিষ্যৎবাণী করবে না; কারণ আমি তোমাদের হাত থেকে আমার লোকেদের উদ্ধার করবো এবং তুমি জানবে যে আমি সদাপ্রভু।
Therefore you shall no more see false visions, nor practice divination. I will deliver my people out of your hand; and you shall know that I am the LORD."'"
