দ্বিতীয় বিবরণ 15
At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release.
2 ২ যে কোনো মহাজন নিজের প্রতিবেশীকে ঋণ দিয়েছে, সে নিজের দেওয়া সেই ঋণ বাদ দেবে, নিজের প্রতিবেশী কিংবা ভাইয়ের কাছ থেকে ঋণ আদায় করবে না, কারণ সদাপ্রভুর আদেশ ঋণ বাদ দেওয়ার ঘোষণা হয়েছে!
And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called YHWH 's release.
Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release;
4 ৪ প্রকৃত পক্ষে তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ যেন গরিব না থাকে; কারণ তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু তোমার অধিকারের জন্যে যে দেশ দিচ্ছেন, সেই দেশে সদাপ্রভু তোমাকে নিশ্চয়ই আশীর্বাদ করবেন;
Save when there shall be no poor among you; for YHWH shall greatly bless thee in the land which YHWH thy Elohim giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it:
5 ৫ শুধু আমি আজ তোমাকে এই যে সব আদেশ দিচ্ছি, এটা যত্নসহকারে পালনের জন্যে তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর রবে কান দিতে হবে।
Only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of YHWH thy Elohim, to observe to do all these commandments which I command thee this day.
6 ৬ কারণ তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু যেমন তোমার কাছে প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছেন, তেমনি তোমাকে আশীর্বাদ করবেন; আর তুমি অনেক জাতিকে ঋণ দেবে, কিন্তু নিজে ঋণ নেবে না এবং অনেক জাতির ওপরে শাসন করবে, কিন্তু তারা তোমার ওপরে শাসন করবে না।
For YHWH thy Elohim blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.
7 ৭ তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু তোমাকে যে দেশ দিচ্ছেন, সেখানকার কোনো শহরের দরজার ভিতরে যদি তোমার কাছে অবস্থিত কোনো ভাই গরিব হয়, তবে তুমি নিজের হৃদয় কঠিন কর না বা গরিব ভাইয়ের প্রতি নিজের হাত বন্ধ কর না;
If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which YHWH thy Elohim giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:
But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
9 ৯ সাবধান, সপ্তম বছর অর্থাৎ ক্ষমার বছর কাছাকাছি, এটা বলে তোমার হৃদয়ে যেন খারাপ চিন্তা মনে না আসে; তুমি যদি নিজে গরিব ভাইয়ের প্রতি খারাপভাবে তাকিয়ে তাকে কিছু না দাও, তবে সে তোমার বিরুদ্ধে সদাপ্রভুর কাছে প্রার্থনা করলে তোমার পাপ হবে।
Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto YHWH against thee, and it be sin unto thee.
10 ১০ তুমি তাকে অবশ্যই দেবে, দেবার দিনের হৃদয়ে দুঃখিত হবে না; কারণ এই কাজের জন্য তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু তোমার সব কাজে এবং তুমি যাতে যাতে হাত দেবে, সেই সব কিছুতে তোমাকে আশীর্বাদ করবেন।
Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing YHWH thy Elohim shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.
11 ১১ কারণ তোমার দেশের মধ্যে গরিবের অভাব হবে না; অতএব আমি তোমাকে এই আদেশ দিচ্ছি, তুমি নিজের দেশে তোমার ভাইয়ের প্রতি, তোমার দুঃখী ও দীনহীনের প্রতি, তোমার হাত অবশ্য খুলে রাখবে।
For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
12 ১২ তোমার ভাই অর্থাৎ কোনো ইব্রীয় পুরুষ কিংবা ইব্রীয় মহিলা যদি তোমার কাছে বিক্রীত হয় এবং ছয় বছর পর্যন্ত তোমার সেবা করবে; তবে সপ্তম বছরে তুমি তাকে ছেড়ে দিয়ে নিজের কাছ থেকে বিদায় দেবে।
And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee.
And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty:
14 ১৪ তুমি নিজের পাল, শস্য ও আঙ্গুর কুণ্ড থেকে তাকে প্রচুর পুরষ্কার দেবে; তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু তোমাকে যেমন আশীর্বাদ করেছেন, সেই অনুসারে তাকে দেবে।
Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith YHWH thy Elohim hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him.
15 ১৫ আর মনে রাখবে, তুমি মিশর দেশে দাস ছিলে এবং তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু তোমাকে মুক্ত করেছেন; এই জন্য আমি আজ তোমাকে এই আদেশ দিচ্ছি।
And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and YHWH thy Elohim redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day.
16 ১৬ কিন্তু তোমার কাছে সুখে থাকাতে সে তোমাকে ও তোমার আত্মীয়দেরকে ভালবাসে বলে যদি বলে, “আমি তোমাকে ছেড়ে যাব না;”
And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee;
17 ১৭ তবে তুমি এক সুঁচ দিয়ে দরজার সঙ্গে তার কান বেঁধে দেবে, তাতে সে চিরকাল তোমার দাস থাকবে; আর দাসীর প্রতিও সেরকম করবে।
Then thou shalt take an aul, and thrust it through his ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do likewise.
18 ১৮ ছয় বছর পর্যন্ত সে তোমার কাছে বেতনজীবীর বেতন থেকে দ্বিগুন দাসের কাজ করেছ, এই কারণ তাকে মুক্ত করে বিদায় দেওয়া কঠিন মনে করবে না; তাতে তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু তোমার সব কাজে তোমাকে আশীর্বাদ করবেন।
It shall not seem hard unto thee, when thou sendest him away free from thee; for he hath been worth a double hired servant to thee, in serving thee six years: and YHWH thy Elohim shall bless thee in all that thou doest.
19 ১৯ তুমি নিজের গরু মেষের পশুপাল থেকে উৎপন্ন সমস্ত প্রথমজাত পুরুষপশুকে নিজের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশ্যে পবিত্র করবে; তুমি গরুর প্রথমজন্মানো বাচ্চার মাধ্যমে কোনো কাজ করবে না এবং তোমার প্রথমজন্মানো বাচ্চা মেষের লোম কাটবে না।
All the firstling males that come of thy herd and of thy flock thou shalt sanctify unto YHWH thy Elohim: thou shalt do no work with the firstling of thy bullock, nor shear the firstling of thy sheep.
20 ২০ সদাপ্রভু যে জায়গা মনোনীত করবেন, সেই জায়গায় তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর সামনে তুমি সপরিবারে প্রতি বছর তা খাবে।
Thou shalt eat it before YHWH thy Elohim year by year in the place which YHWH shall choose, thou and thy household.
21 ২১ যদি তাতে কোনো দোষ থাকে, অর্থাৎ সে যদি খোঁড়া কিংবা অন্ধ হয়, কোনোভাবে দোষী হয়, তবে তুমি নিজের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশ্যে তা বলিদান করবে না।
And if there be any blemish therein, as if it be lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto YHWH thy Elohim.
22 ২২ নিজের শহরের দরজার ভিতরে তা খেয়ো অশুচি কি শুচী, উভয় লোকই কৃষ্ণসারের কিংবা হরিণের মতো তা খেতে পারে।
Thou shalt eat it within thy gates: the unclean and the clean person shall eat it alike, as the roebuck, and as the hart.
Only thou shalt not eat the blood thereof; thou shalt pour it upon the ground as water.
