Masters, do equity and justice to your servants; and be conscious that ye also have a master in heaven.
Persevere in prayer; and be watchful in it, and in giving thanks.
3 ৩ আমাদের জন্যও একসঙ্গে প্রার্থনা কর, যেন ঈশ্বর আমাদের জন্য কথা বলার দরজা খুলে দেন, খ্রীষ্টের লুকানো বিষয় জানতে পারি। কারণ এই কথার জন্য আমি বাঁধা আছি।
And pray also for us, that God would open to us a door of speech, for uttering the mystery of the Messiah, for the sake of which I am in bonds;
that I may unfold it, and utter it, as it behooveth me.
Walk in wisdom towards them without: and redeem your opportunity.
6 ৬ তোমরা সবদিন করুণাবিষ্ট হয়ে কথা বল। লবণের মত স্বাদযুক্ত হও এবং প্রত্যেক জনকে কিভাবে উত্তর দেবে তা জানো।
And let your speech at all times be with grace; as it were, seasoned with salt: and know ye, how ye ought to give answer to every man.
7 ৭ আমার বিষয়ে সব কিছু তুখিক তোমাদের জানাবেন। তিনি হন একজন প্রিয় ভাই, একজন ঈশ্বরের বিশ্বস্ত দাস এবং প্রভুর কাজের একজন সেবাদাস।
And what is occurrent with me, will Tychicus make known to you; who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister, and our fellow-servant in the Lord:
8 ৮ আমি বিশেষভাবে তাঁকে তোমাদের কাছে পাঠালাম, যেন তোমরা আমাদের জানতে পার এবং তিনি তোমাদের হৃদয়ে উত্সাহ দেবেন।
whom I have sent to you for this purpose, that he might know your affairs, and might comfort your hearts;
9 ৯ তোমার নিজের বিশ্বস্ত ও প্রিয় ভাই ওনীষিমকেও সঙ্গে পাঠালাম। এখানে যা হয়েছে তাঁরা তোমাদের সব খবর জানাবেন।
together with Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is from among you. These will make known to you what is occurrent with us.
10 ১০ আমার সঙ্গে বন্দী ভাই আরিষ্টার্খ এবং বার্ণবার আত্মীয় মার্ক শুভেচ্ছা জানাচ্ছে যাঁর বিষয়ে তোমরা আদেশ পেয়েছ, “যদি তিনি তোমাদের কাছে আসেন, তাঁকে গ্রহণ কর,”
Aristarchus, my fellow-captive, saluteth you; also Marcus, an uncle's son to Barnabas, of whom ye have received directions, that if he come to you, ye may kindly receive him:
11 ১১ এবং যীশু যাকে যুষ্ঠ নামে ডাকা হত। ছিন্নত্বকদের মধ্যে কেবল তাঁরাই ঈশ্বরের রাজ্যের জন্য আমার সহকর্মী। তাঁরা আমাকে সান্ত্বনা দিয়েছেন।
also Jesus, who is called Justus. These are of the circumcision, and they only have aided me in the kingdom of God; and they have been a comfort to me.
12 ১২ ইপাফ্রা তোমাদের শুভেচ্ছা জানাচ্ছেন। তিনি তোমাদের মধ্যে একজন এবং একজন খ্রীষ্ট যীশুর দাস। তিনি সবদিন প্রার্থনায় তোমাদের জন্য সংগ্রাম করছেন যাতে তোমরা ঈশ্বরের ইচ্ছায় সম্পূর্ণ নিশ্চিত হয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে থাক।
Epaphras saluteth you, who is from among you, a servant of the Messiah, always laboring for you in prayer, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the good pleasure of God.
13 ১৩ আমি তাঁর জন্য সাক্ষ্য দেব, তিনি তোমাদের জন্য, যাঁরা লায়দিকেয়াতে ও যাঁরা হিয়রাপলিতে আছেন, তাঁদের জন্যও কঠোর পরিশ্রম করেন।
For I testify for him, that he hath great zeal for you, and for them of Laodicea, and for them of Hierapolis.
Luke the physician, our beloved, saluteth you; also Demas.
Salute ye the brethren in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church in his house.
16 ১৬ যখন এই চিঠি তোমাদের মধ্যে পড়া হয়েছিল, এটা আরো লায়দিকেয়া মণ্ডলীতেও পড়া হয়েছিল এবং দেখো লায়দিকেয়া থেকে যে চিঠি আসবে তা তোমরাও পড়ো।
And when this epistle shall have been read among you, cause it to be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that which is written from Laodicea, do ye read.
And say to Archippus: Be attentive to the ministry which thou hast received in our Lord, that thou fulfill it.
18 ১৮ আমি পৌল এই শুভেচ্ছা আমি নিজে হাতে লিখলাম। আমার বন্দীদশা মনে করো। ঐশ্বরিক অনুগ্রহ তোমাদের সঙ্গে থাকুক।
