A certayne man named Ananias with Saphira his wyfe solde a possession
2 ২ আর সে সেই বিক্রয়ের টাকার কিছু অংশ নিজের কাছে রাখল আর বাকি অংশ প্রেরিতদের কাছে দিয়ে দিল, এই বিষয়ে তার স্ত্রীও জানতো।
and kepte awaye parte of the pryce (his wyfe also beynge of counsell) and brought a certayne parte and layde it doune at the Apostles fete.
3 ৩ তখন পিতর তাকে বলল, অননিয় তোমার মনে কেন শয়তানকে কাজ করতে দিলে যে পবিত্র আত্মার কাছে মিথ্যে বললে আর জমির টাকা থেকে কিছুটা নিজের কাছে রেখে দিলে?
Then sayde Peter: Ananias how is it that Satan hath filled thyne hert that thou shuldest lye vnto the holy goost and kepe awaye parte of the pryce of the lyvelod:
4 ৪ জমিটা বিক্রির আগে এটা কি তোমার ছিল না? এবং বিক্রির পরও কি তোমার অধিকারে ছিল না? তবে তুমি কেমন করে এই জিনিসগুলি তোমার হৃদয়ে ভাবলে? তুমি মানুষের কাছে মিথ্যে বললে তা নয়, কিন্তু ঈশ্বরকেই বললে।
Pertayned it not vnto the only and after it was solde was not the pryce in thyne awne power? How is it that thou hast coceaved this thinge in thyne herte? Thou hast not lyed vnto men but vnto God.
When Ananias herde these wordes. he fell doune and gave vp the goost. And great feare came on all the that these thinges hearde.
And the yonge men roose vp and put him a parte and caryed him out and buryed him.
And it fortuned as it were aboute the space of. iii. houres after that his wyfe came in ignoraunt of that which was done.
8 ৮ পিতর তাকে বলল, “আমাকে বলত, তোমরা সেই জমি কি এত টাকাতে বিক্রি করেছিলে?” সে বলল, “হ্যাঁ, এত টাকাতেই।”
And Peter sayde vnto her: Tell me gave ye the londe for so moche? And she sayde: ye for so moche
9 ৯ তারপর পিতর তাকে বললেন, “তোমরা প্রভুর আত্মাকে পরীক্ষা করার জন্য কেমন করে এক চিত্ত হলে? দেখ, যারা তোমার স্বামীর কবর দিয়েছে, তারা দরজায় এসেছে এবং তোমাকে নিয়ে যাবে।”
Then Peter sayde vnto her: why have ye agreed to gether to tept the sprete of the Lorde? Beholde the fete of them which have buryed thy husbande are at the dore and shall cary the out.
10 ১০ তখনই সাফেরা তার পায়ে পড়ে মারা যায়। এবং যুবকেরা ভিতরে এসে দেখল, সে মৃত; তারা তাকে বাইরে নিয়ে গেল এবং তার স্বামীর পাশে কবর দিল।
Then she fell doune strayght waye at his fete and yelded vp the goost. And the yonge men came in and founde her ded and caryed her out and buryed her by her husbande.
And great feare came on all the congregacion and on as many as hearde it.
12 ১২ প্রেরিতদের মাধ্যমে অনেক চিহ্ন-কার্য্য ও অলৌকিক কাজ সম্পন্ন হতে লাগল। তারা সকলে একমনে শলোমনের বারান্দাতে একত্রিত হত।
By the hondes of the Apostles were many signes and wondres shewed amoge the people. And they were all together with one acorde in Salomons porche.
13 ১৩ যারা তাঁদের বিশ্বাস করত না সেই সব লোকেরা তাঁদের সঙ্গে যোগ দিতে সাহসও করত না, কিন্তু তা সত্বেও লোকেরা তাঁদের উচ্চমূল্য দিল।
And of other durst no man ioyne him selfe to them: neverthelater the people magnyfied them.
The noumbre of them that beleved in the Lorde bothe of men and wemen grewe moare and moare:
15 ১৫ এমনকি লোকেরা অসুস্থ রোগীদের নিয়ে রাস্তার মাঝে বিছানায় এবং খাটে শুইয়ে রাখতো, যাতে পিতর যখন আসবে তখন তাঁর ছায়া তাদের ওপর পড়ে।
in so moche that they brought the sicke into the strettes and layde them on beddes and palettes that at the lest waye the shadowe of Peter when he came by myght shadowe some of them.
16 ১৬ যিরুশালেমের চারপাশের বিভিন্ন নগর থেকে অনেক লোক অসুস্থ রোগী ও অশুচি আত্মায় পাওয়া ব্যক্তিদের নিয়ে একত্রিত হত এবং তারা সুস্থ হয়ে যেত।
There came also a multitude out of ye cities roud about vnto Ierusalem bringynge sicke folkes and them which were vexed with vnclene spretes. And they were healed every one.
17 ১৭ পরে মহাযাজক ও তার সঙ্গীরা অর্থাৎ সদ্দূকী সম্প্রদায়ের লোকেরা প্রেরিতদের প্রতি ঈর্ষায় পরিপূর্ণ হলেন।
Then ye chefe preste rose vp and all they that were with him (which is the secte of the Saduces) and were full of indignacion
and layde hondes on the Apostles and put them in the comen preson.
19 ১৯ কিন্তু রাত্রিবেলায় প্রভুর এক দূত এসে জেলখানার দরজা খুলে দিলেন এবং প্রেরিতদের বাইরে নিয়ে আসলেন এবং বললেন,
But the angell of the Lorde by nyght openned the preson dores and brought them forthe and sayde:
goo steppe forthe and speake in the temple to the people all the wordes of this lyfe.
21 ২১ এই সব শোনার পর প্রেরিতেরা ভোরবেলায় উপাসনা ঘরে গিয়ে উপদেশ দিতে লাগলেন। ইতিমধ্যে, মহাযাজক ও তার সঙ্গীরা, ইস্রায়েলের লোকেদের গন্যমান্য ব্যক্তিদের নিয়ে এক মহাসভা ডাকল এবং প্রেরিতদের আনার জন্য কারাগারে লোক পাঠালো।
When they hearde that they entred into the temple erly in the morninge and taught. The chefe prest came and they that were with him and called a counsell to gedder and all the elders of the chyldren of Israel and sent to the preson to fet them.
22 ২২ কিন্তু যখন সেই আধিকারিকরা কারাগারে পৌঁছলো, তারা দেখল প্রেরিতেরা সেখানে নেই, সুতরাং তারা ফিরে গেল এবং এই সংবাদ দিল,
When the ministres came and founde them not in the preson they returned and tolde
23 ২৩ “আমরা দেখলাম জেলখানার দরজা সুদৃঢ়ভাবে বন্ধ আছে এবং দরজায় দরজায় পাহারাদাররা দাঁড়িয়ে আছে, কিন্তু যখন আমরা দরজা খুলে ভিতরে গেলাম কাউকে দেখতে পেলাম না।”
sayinge: the preson founde we shut as sure as was possible and the kepers stondynge with out before ye dores. But whe we had opened we founde no man with in.
24 ২৪ তখন উপাসনা ঘরের রক্ষী বাহিনীর প্রধান এবং প্রধান যাজকেরা এই কথা শুনে আশ্চর্য্য হয়ে ভাবতে লাগল, এর পরিণতি কি হবে।
When the chefe prest of all and the ruler of the temple and the hye prestes hearde these thinges they douted of them whervnto this wolde growe.
25 ২৫ তারপর কোনও একজন লোক এলো এবং তাদের বলল, “শুনুন, যে লোকেদের আপনারা কারাগারে রেখেছিলেন তারা মন্দিরে দাঁড়িয়ে লোকদের উপদেশ দিচ্ছেন”
Then came one and shewed them: beholde ye men yt ye put in preson stonde in the teple and teache the people.
26 ২৬ তখন উপাসনা ঘরের রক্ষী বাহিনীর প্রধান সেনাপতি তার সেনাদের নিয়ে সেখানে গেল ও প্রেরিতদের নিয়ে এল কিন্তু তারা কোনোরকম জোর করল না, কারণ তারা লোকদের ভয় করত যে লোকেরা হয়ত তাদের পাথর ছুঁড়ে মেরে ফেলবে।
Then went the ruler of the teple with ministers and brought the with out violence. For they feared the people lest they shuld have bene stoned.
And when they had brought them they set them before the counsell. And ye chefe preste axed the
28 ২৮ বললেন, “আমরা যীশুর নামে শিক্ষা দিতে দৃঢ়ভাবে আদেশ দিয়েছিলাম, তা সত্বেও দেখ, তোমরা তোমাদের শিক্ষায় যিরূশালেম পূর্ণ করেছ এবং সেই ব্যক্তির রক্তের দায়ে আমাদের দোষী করতে চাইছ।”
sayinge: dyd not we straytely comaunde you that ye shuld not teache in this name? And beholde ye have filled Ierusalem with youre doctrine and ye intende to brynge this mans bloud vpon vs.
Peter and the other Apostles answered and sayde: We ought moare to obey God then men.
30 ৩০ আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষদের ঈশ্বর সেই যীশুকে উত্থাপিত করেছেন, যাকে আপনারা ক্রুশে টাঙিয়ে হত্যা করেছেন।
The God of oure fathers raysed vp Ie Iesus whom ye slewe and hanged on tre.
31 ৩১ ঈশ্বর যীশুকেই রাজপুত্র ও ত্রাণকর্ত্তারূপে উন্নত করে তাঁর ডান হাত দিয়ে স্থাপন করেছেন, যেন ইস্রায়েলকে মন পরিবর্তন ও পাপের ক্ষমা দান করেন।
Him hath god lifte vp with his right hand to be a ruler and a savioure for to geve repetauce to Israell and forgevenes of synnes.
And we are his recordes concernynge these thinges and also the holy goost whom God hath geve to them yt obey him.
When they hearde yt they clave asunder: and sought meanes to slee them.
34 ৩৪ কিন্তু মহাসভায় গমলীয়েল নামে এক ফরীশী ছিলেন, ইনি ব্যবস্থা গুরু, যাকে লোকেরা মান্য করত, তিনি উঠলেন এবং প্রেরিতদের কিছুক্ষণের জন্য বাইরে নিয়ে যাওয়ার আজ্ঞা দিলেন।
Then stode ther vp one in ye counsell a Pharisey named Gamaliel a doctoure of lawe had in auctorite amoge all the people and commaunded to put the Apostles a syde a lytell space
35 ৩৫ পরে প্রহরীরা প্রেরিতদের বাইরে নিয়ে যাওয়ার পর, তিনি বললেন, “হে, ইস্রায়েলের লোকেরা, তোমরা সেই লোকেদের নিয়ে কি করতে উদ্যত হয়েছ, সে বিষয়ে মনোযোগী হও।”
and sayde vnto them: Men of Israel take hede to youre selves what ye entende to do as touchinge these men
36 ৩৬ ইতিপূর্বে থুদা নামে একজন নিজেকে মহান বলে দাবী করেছিল এবং কমবেশি চারশো জন লোক তার সঙ্গে যুক্ত হয়েছিল; সে নিহত হলে পর তার অনুগামীরা সব ছড়িয়ে পড়ল, কেউই থাকলো না।
Before these dayes rose vp one Theudas bostinge him selfe to whom resorted a nombre of men about a foure hondred which was slayn and they all which beleved him were scatred a broode and brought to nought.
37 ৩৭ সেই ব্যক্তির পর লোক গণনা করার দিন গালীলীয় যিহূদা উদয় হয় ও কতকগুলি লোককে নিজের দলে টানে, পরে সেও নিহত হয়, আর তার অনুগামীরাও ছড়িয়ে পড়ে
After this man arose ther vp one Iudas of Galile in the tyme when tribute began and drewe awaye moche people after him. He also perisshed: and all even as many as harkened to him are scattered a brood.
38 ৩৮ এখন আমি তোমাদের বলছি, তোমরা ওই লোকদের থেকে দূরে থাক এবং তাদের ছেড়ে দাও, যদি এই মন্ত্রণা বা কাজ মানুষের থেকে হয়ে থাকে, তবে তা ব্যর্থ হবে।
And now I saye vnto you: refrayne youre selves from these men let them alone. For yf ye cousell or this worke be of men it will come to nought.
39 ৩৯ কিন্তু যদি ঈশ্বর থেকে হয়ে থাকে, তবে তাদের বন্ধ করা তোমাদের পক্ষে সম্ভব নয়, হয়তো দেখা যাবে যে, তোমরা ঈশ্বরের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করছ।
But and yf it be of God ye can not destroye it lest haply ye be founde to stryve agaynst God.
40 ৪০ তখন তারা গমলীয়েলের কথায় একমত হলেন, আর প্রেরিতদের ডেকে এনে প্রহার করলেন এবং যীশুর নামে কোনোও কথা না বলতে নির্দেশ দিলেন এবং তাদেরকে ছেড়ে দিলেন।
And to him they agreed and called the Apostles and bet them and comaunded that they shuld not speake in ye name of Iesu and let them goo.
41 ৪১ তখন প্রেরিতেরা মহাসভা থেকে আনন্দ করতে করতে চলে গেলেন, কারণ তারা যীশুর নামের জন্য অপমানিত হওয়ার যোগ্য বলে বিবেচিত হয়েছিল।
And they departed from the counsell reioysynge yt they were counted worthy to soffre rebuke for his name.
42 ৪২ তারপর প্রত্যেক দিন, প্রেরিতেরা উপাসনা ঘরে ও বাড়িতে বাড়িতে অনবরত যীশু খ্রীষ্টের সুসমাচার প্রচার করতে লাগলেন।
And dayly in the teple and in every housse they ceased not teachinge and preachinge Iesus Christ.
