২য তীমথি 4

1 ১ আমি ঈশ্বরের সামনে এবং যিনি জীবিত ও মৃতদের বিচার করবেন, সেই খ্রীষ্ট যীশুর সামনে, তাঁর প্রকাশের ও তাঁর রাজ্যের দোহাই দিয়ে, তোমাকে এই দৃঢ় আদেশ দিচ্ছি;

This is what I instruct you to do before God and Christ Jesus who will judge the living and the dead when he comes to establish his kingdom.

2 ২ তুমি বাক্য প্রচার কর, দিনের অদিনের প্রচারের জন্য প্রস্তুত হও, সম্পূর্ণ ধৈর্য্য ও শিক্ষাদান পূর্ব্বক উৎসাহিত কর, ধমক দাও, চেতনা দাও।

Speak God's word whether it is convenient or not, tell people where they're going wrong, warn them, encourage them. Do this with a great deal of patient teaching.

3 ৩ কারণ এমন দিন আসবে, যে দিন লোকেরা সত্য শিক্ষা সহ্য করবে না, কিন্তু নিজেদের ইচ্ছা অনুসারে নিজেদের জন্য অনেক শিক্ষক জোগাড় করবে,

For the time is coming when people won't bother to listen to true teaching. Instead they will be curious to listen to something different, and will surround themselves with teachers who'll tell them what they want to hear.

4 ৪ এবং সত্যের বিষয় থেকে কান ফিরিয়ে গল্প শুনতে চাইবে।

They will stop listening to the truth and wander off following myths.

5 ৫ কিন্তু তুমি সর্ববিষয়ে চিন্তাশীল হও, দুঃখভোগ স্বীকার কর, সুসমাচার প্রচারকের কাজ কর, তোমার সেবা কাজ সম্পূর্ণ কর।

You need to keep your wits about you at all times. Put up with troubles, do the work of sharing the good news, fulfill your ministry.

6 ৬ কারণ, এখন আমাকে উত্সর্গের মত ঢেলে দেওয়া হচ্ছে এবং আমার মৃত্যুর দিন উপস্থিত হয়েছে।

For I'm about to be sacrificed—the time of my death is approaching.

7 ৭ আমি খ্রীষ্টের পক্ষে প্রাণপনে যুদ্ধ করেছি, ঠিক করা পথের শেষ পর্যন্ত দৌড়েছি, বিশ্বস্ততা রক্ষা করেছি।

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept my trust in God.

8 ৮ এখন থেকে আমার জন্য ধার্মিকতার মুকুট তোলা রয়েছে; প্রভু সেই ধর্মময় বিচারকর্ত্তা, সেই দিন আমাকে তা দেবেন; কেবল আমাকে নয়, বরং যত লোক প্রেমের সহিত তাঁর পুনরাগমনের জন্য অপেক্ষা করছেন, তাদেরকেও দেবেন।

Now there's a prize reserved for me—the crown for a life lived according to what is good and right. The Lord, (who is the judge that always does what's right), will give that to me on that Day. And not just to me, but to everyone who longs for his coming.

9 ৯ তুমি শীঘ্র আমার কাছে আসতে চেষ্টা কর;

Please try to come to me as soon as you can.

10 ১০ কারণ দীমা এই বর্তমান যুগ ভালবাসাতে আমাকে ছেড়ে থিষলনীকী শহরে গিয়েছে; ক্রীষ্কেন্ত গালাতিয়া প্রদেশে, তীত দালমাতিয়া প্রদেশে গিয়েছেন; (aiōn g165)

Demas has abandoned me because he loves the things of this world more, and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)

11 ১১ কেবল লূক আমার সঙ্গে আছেন। তুমি মার্ককে সঙ্গে করে নিয়ে এস, কারণ তিনি সেবা কাজের বিষয়ে আমার বড় উপকারী।

Only Luke is here with me. Bring Mark with you, because he can help me with my work.

12 ১২ আর তুখিককে আমি ইফিষে পাঠিয়েছি।

13 ১৩ ত্রোয়াতে কার্পের কাছে যে শালখানি রেখে এসেছি, তুমি আসবার দিনের সেটা এবং বইগুলি, বিশেষ করে কতকগুলি চামড়ার বই, সঙ্গে করে এনো।

When you come please bring the cloak I left behind with Carpus in Troas—and the books, especially the parchments.

14 ১৪ যে আলেকসান্দর তামার কাজ করে, সে আমার অনেক ক্ষতি করেছে; প্রভু তার কাজের উচিত প্রতিফল তাকে দেবেন।

Alexander the coppersmith caused me a lot of trouble—may God judge him for what he did.

15 ১৫ তুমিও সেই ব্যক্তি থেকে সাবধান থেকো, কারণ সে আমাদের বাক্যের খুব প্রতিরোধ করেছিল।

You watch out for him too, because he was very much against what we were saying.

16 ১৬ আমার প্রথমবার আত্মপক্ষ সমর্থনের দিন কেউ আমার পক্ষে উপস্থিত হল না; সবাই আমাকে ছেড়ে চলে গিয়েছিল; এটা তাদের প্রতি গণ্য না হোক।

When it came to my first defense, no-one stood up for me—everyone abandoned me. May they not be blamed for this.

17 ১৭ কিন্তু প্রভু আমার কাছে দাঁড়ালেন এবং আমাকে শক্তিশালী করলেন, যেন আমার মাধ্যমে প্রচার কাজ সম্পূর্ণ হয় এবং অইহূদিয় সব লোকে তা শুনতে পায়; আর আমি সিংহের (রোম সরকার) মুখ থেকে রক্ষা পেলাম।

But the Lord stood by me and gave me strength so that I could declare the whole of the message so that all the foreigners could hear it. I was rescued out of the lion's mouth!

18 ১৮ প্রভু আমাকে সমস্ত খারাপ কাজ থেকে রক্ষা করবেন এবং নিজের স্বর্গীয় রাজ্যে উত্তীর্ণ করবেন। যুগপর্য্যায়ের যুগে যুগে তাঁর মহিমা হোক। আমেন। (aiōn g165)

The Lord will rescue me from all the evil things done against me, and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. His is the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)

19 ১৯ প্রিষ্কিলাকে ও আক্কিলাকে এবং অনীষিফরের পরিবারকে মঙ্গলবাদ কর।

My greetings to Prisca and Aquila, and to Onesiphorus's family.

20 ২০ ইরাস্ত করিন্থ শহরে আছেন এবং ত্রফিম অসুস্থ হওয়াতে আমি তাঁকে মিলিত শহরে রেখে এসেছি।

Erastus stayed on in Corinth. I left Trophimus behind in Miletus because he was sick.

21 ২১ তুমি শীতকালের আগে আসতে চেষ্টা কর। উবূল, পুদেন্ত, লীন, ক্লৌদিয়া এবং সকল ভাই তোমাকে অভিবাদন করছেন।

22 ২২ প্রভু তোমার আত্মার সহবর্ত্তী হোন। অনুগ্রহ তোমাদের সহবর্ত্তী হোক। আমেন।
