দ্বিতীয় রাজাবলি 16
1 ১ রমলিয়ের ছেলে পেকহের রাজত্বের সতেরো বছরের দিন যিহূদার রাজা যোথমের ছেলে আহস রাজত্ব করতে শুরু করেন।
In year seven-teen year of Pekah [the] son of Remaliah he became king Ahaz [the] son of Jotham [the] king of Judah.
2 ২ আহস কুড়ি বছর বয়সে রাজত্ব করতে শুরু করেন এবং তিনি ষোল বছর যিরূশালেমে রাজত্ব করেছিলেন। আহস তাঁর পূর্বপুরুষ দায়ূদ যেমন তাঁর ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর চোখে যা ভাল তাই করতেন, তিনি তেমন করতেন না।
[was] a son of Twenty year[s] Ahaz when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and not he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh God his like David ancestor his.
3 ৩ তার পরিবর্তে তিনি ইস্রায়েলের রাজাদের মতই চলতেন; এমন কি, সদাপ্রভু যে সব জাতিকে ইস্রায়েলের মানুষদের সামনে থেকে দূর করে দিয়েছিলেন তাদের মত তিনিও তাঁর নিজের ছেলেকে আগুনে ফেলে দিয়ে হোম উৎসর্গ করলেন।
And he walked in [the] way of [the] kings of Israel and also son his he made pass in the fire according to [the] abominations of the nations which he had dispossessed Yahweh them from before [the] people of Israel.
4 ৪ তিনি উঁচু জায়গাগুলিতে, পাহাড়ের উপরে ও প্রত্যেকটি সবুজ গাছের নীচে বলিদান উৎসর্গ করতেন ও ধূপ জ্বালাতেন।
And he sacrificed and he made smoke at the high places and on the hills and under every tree luxuriant.
5 ৫ অরামের রাজা রৎসীন ও রমলিয়ের ছেলে ইস্রায়েলের রাজা পেকহ যিরূশালেমে এসে আহস সুদ্ধ শহরটা ঘেরাও করলেন, কিন্তু তাঁরা আহসকে জয় করতে পারলেন না।
Then he came up Rezin [the] king of Aram and Pekah [the] son of Remaliah [the] king of Israel Jerusalem for battle and they laid siege on Ahaz and not they were able to do battle.
6 ৬ সেই দিন অরামের রাজা রৎসীন এলৎ শহর আবার অরামের অধীনে নিয়ে আসলেন এবং এলৎশহর থেকে যিহূদার লোকদের তাড়িয়ে দিলেন। তারপর অরামীয়েরা এলতে গেলো, যেখানে আজও তারা বাস করছে।
At the time that he restored Rezin [the] king of Aram Elath to Aram and he cleared out the Jews from Elath (and Edomites *QK) they came Elath and they have dwelt there until the day this.
7 ৭ পরে আহস অশূরের রাজা তিগ্লৎ-পিলেষরের কাছে এই কথা বলতে লোক পাঠিয়ে দিলেন, “আমি আপনার দাস এবং আপনার ছেলে। আপনি আসুন এবং অরামের রাজার হাত থেকে এবং ইস্রায়েলের রাজার হাত থেকে আমাকে রক্ষা করুন, যারা আমাকে আক্রমণ করেছে।”
And he sent Ahaz messengers to Tiglath-pileser [the] king of Assyria saying [am] servant your and son your I come up and deliver me from [the] hand of [the] king of Aram and from [the] hand of [the] king of Israel who are rising up on me.
8 ৮ আহস সদাপ্রভুর গৃহে গিয়েছিলেন ও রাজবাড়ীর ভান্ডার থেকে সোনা ও রূপা নিলেন এবং উপহার হিসাবে অশূরের রাজার কাছে পাঠিয়ে দিলেন।
And he took Ahaz the silver and the gold which was found [the] house of Yahweh and in [the] treasuries of [the] house of the king and he sent [it] to [the] king of Assyria a gift.
9 ৯ তখন অশূরের রাজা তাঁর কথা শুনলেন এবং দম্মেশকের বিরুদ্ধে আক্রমণ করে তা দখল করলেন এবং তিনি সেখানকার লোকদের বন্দী করে কীরে নিয়ে গেলেন এবং অরামের রাজা রৎসীনকেও মেরে ফেললেন।
And he listened to him [the] king of Assyria and he came up [the] king of Assyria to Damascus and he seized it and he took into exile it Kir towards and Rezin he put to death.
10 ১০ তখন রাজা আহস দম্মেশকে অশূরের রাজা তিগ্লৎ-পিলেষরের সঙ্গে দেখা করতে গেলেন। তিনি সেখানকার বেদীটা দেখে তাঁর আকার, শিল্পকার্য্য, নকশা ও সেটা তৈরী করবার পুরো পদ্ধতি ঊরিয় যাজকের কাছে পাঠিয়ে দিলেন।
And he went the king Ahaz to meet Tiglath-pileser [the] king of Assyria Damascus and he saw the altar which [was] in Damascus and he sent the king Ahaz to Uriah the priest [the] likeness of the altar and pattern its for all work its.
11 ১১ দম্মেশক থেকে রাজা আহসের পাঠানো সব পরিকল্পনা মতই যাজক ঊরিয় একটা বেদী তৈরী করলেন এবং রাজা আহস দম্মেশক থেকে ফিরে আসবার আগেই তা শেষ করলেন।
And he built Uriah the priest the altar according to all that he had sent the king Ahaz from Damascus so he did Uriah the priest until came the king Ahaz from Damascus.
12 ১২ দম্মেশক থেকে ফিরে এসে রাজা সেই বেদীটা দেখলেন এবং সেই বেদির কাছে গিয়ে তার উপর বলি উৎসর্গ করলেন।
And he came the king from Damascus and he saw the king the altar and he drew near the king to the altar and he offered up on it.
13 ১৩ তিনি সেখানে তাঁর হোমবলি উৎসর্গ, শস্য উৎসর্গ ও পানীয় উৎসর্গ করলেন এবং তাঁর মঙ্গলার্থক উৎসর্গের রক্তও ছিটিয়ে দিলেন।
And he made smoke burnt offering his and grain offering his and he poured out drink offering his and he sprinkled [the] blood of the peace offerings which [belonged] to him on the altar.
14 ১৪ তিনি সদাপ্রভুর সামনে রাখা ব্রোঞ্জের বেদীটা সদাপ্রভুর ঘর ও তাঁর নতুন বেদির মাঝখান থেকে সরিয়ে এনে নিজের নতুন বেদির উত্তর ধারে রাখলেন।
And the altar of bronze which [was] before Yahweh and he brought near from with [the] face of the house from between the altar and from between [the] house of Yahweh and he put it on [the] side of the altar north-ward.
15 ১৫ তখন পরে রাজা আহস যাজক ঊরিয়কে এই সব আদেশ দিলেন, “ঐ বড় বেদীটার উপর সকালবেলার হোমবলি ও সন্ধ্যায় শস্য উৎসর্গ এবং তার উপর রাজার হোমবলি ও শস্য উৎসর্গ এবং দেশের সব লোকদের হোমবলি ও তাদের শস্য উৎসর্গ আর পানীয় উৎসর্গ অনুষ্ঠান করবেন। সমস্ত হোমবলি ও অন্যান্য পশু উৎসর্গের রক্ত নিজেই সেই বেদির উপর ছিটিয়ে দেবেন। কিন্তু ঈশ্বরের সাহায্য পাওয়ার জন্য আমি ঐ ব্রোঞ্জের বেদীটা ব্যবহার করব।”
(And he commanded *QK) the king Ahaz Uriah the priest saying on the altar great make smoke [the] burnt offering of the morning and [the] grain offering of the evening and [the] burnt offering of the king and grain offering his and [the] burnt offering of all [the] people of the land and grain offering their and drink offerings their and all [the] blood of [the] burnt offering and all [the] blood of [the] sacrifice on it you will sprinkle and [the] altar of bronze it will belong to me to consult.
And he did Uriah the priest according to all that he commanded the king Ahaz.
17 ১৭ রাজা আহস গামলা বসাবার ব্রোঞ্জের আসনগুলোর পাশের সব পাত খুলে ফেললেন এবং সেখান থেকে জলাধারগুলো খুলে ফেললেন। ব্রোঞ্জের গরুগুলোর উপর যে জলাধারটি বসানো ছিল সেটা তিনি খুলে নিয়ে একটা পাথর দিয়ে বাঁধানো এমন জায়গায় বসালেন।
And he cut off the king Ahaz the rims of the stands and he removed from on them the laver and the sea he took down from on the ox[en] the bronze which [were] under it and he put it on a pavement of stone.
18 ১৮ সদাপ্রভুর গৃহে বিশ্রামবারের উদ্দেশ্যে যে চাঁদোয়া তৈরী করা হয়েছিল অশূরের রাজার ভয়ে আহস সেটা খুলে অন্য জায়গায় রাখলেন এবং সদাপ্রভুর গৃহের বাইরের দিকে রাজার ঢুকবার জন্য যে বিশেষ পথ তৈরী করা হয়েছিল তাও সরিয়ে অন্য জায়গায় রাখলেন।
And ([the] covered structure of *Qk) the sabbath which people had built in the house and [the] entrance of the king outer he removed [the] house of Yahweh because of [the] king of Assyria.
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Ahaz which he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
20 ২০ পরে আহস নিজের পূর্বপুরুষদের কাছে চলে গেলেন এবং দায়ূদ শহরে তাঁর পূর্বপুরুষদের সঙ্গে তাঁকে কবর দেওয়া হল। তাঁর জায়গায় তাঁর ছেলে হিষ্কিয় রাজা হলেন।
And he lay down Ahaz with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David and he became king Hezekiah son his in place of him.
