প্রথম রাজাবলি 11
1 ১ রাজা শলোমন ফরৌণের মেয়েকে ছাড়া আরও অনেক বিদেশী স্ত্রীলোকদের ভালবাসতেন। তারা জাতিতে ছিল মোয়াবীয়, অম্মোনীয়, ইদোমীয়, সীদোনীয় ও হিত্তীয়।
And the king Solomon he loved women foreign many and [the] daughter of Pharaoh Moabite [women] Ammonite [women] Edomite [women] Sidonian [women] Hittite [women].
2 ২ তারা সেই সব জাতি থেকে এসেছিল যাদের সম্বন্ধে সদাপ্রভু ইস্রায়েলীয়দের বলেছিলেন, “তোমরা তাদের বিয়ে করবে না, কারণ তারা নিশ্চয়ই তোমাদের মন তাদের দেব দেবতাদের দিকে আকর্ষিত করবে।” কিন্তু শলোমন এইসব স্ত্রীলোকদের ভালবাসতেন।
From the nations which he had said Yahweh to [the] people of Israel not you must go among them and they not they will go among you truly they will turn aside heart your after gods their to them he cleaved Solomon to love [them].
3 ৩ তাঁর সাতশো স্ত্রী ছিল, যারা ছিল রাজপরিবারের মেয়ে; এছাড়া তাঁর তিনশো উপস্ত্রী ছিল। তাঁর স্ত্রীরা তাঁকে বিপথে নিয়ে গিয়েছিল।
And it belonged to him wives noble ladies seven hundred and concubines three hundred and they turned aside wives his heart his.
4 ৪ শলোমনের বুড়ো বয়সে তাঁর স্ত্রীরা তাঁর মন অন্য দেব দেবতাদের দিকে আকর্ষিত করেছিল। তার ফলে তাঁর বাবা দায়ূদের মত তাঁর হৃদয় তাঁর ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর প্রতি ভক্তিতে পূর্ণ ছিল না।
And it was to [the] time of [the] old age of Solomon wives his they turned aside heart his after gods other and not it was heart his complete with Yahweh God his like [the] heart of David father his.
And he walked Solomon after Astarte [the] god of [the] Sidonians and after Milcom [the] detestable thing of [the] Ammonites.
6 ৬ সদাপ্রভুর চোখে যা মন্দ শলোমন তাই করলেন। তাঁর বাবা দায়ূদ যেমন সদাপ্রভুকে সম্পূর্ণভাবে ভক্তি করতেন তিনি তেমন করতেন না।
And he did Solomon the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and not he filled after Yahweh like David father his.
7 ৭ সেই দিন শলোমন যিরূশালেমের পূর্ব দিকের পাহাড়ের উপরে তিনি মোয়াবের জঘন্য দেবতা কমোশ ও অম্মোনীয়দের জঘন্য দেবতা মোলকের উদ্দেশ্যে উঁচু জায়গা তৈরী করলেন।
Then he built Solomon a high place for Chemosh [the] detestable thing of Moab on the mountain which [is] on [the] face of Jerusalem and for Molech [the] detestable thing of [the] people of Ammon.
8 ৮ তাঁর সমস্ত বিদেশী স্ত্রী যারা নিজের নিজের দেবতাদের উদ্দেশ্যে ধূপ জ্বালাত ও পশু বলি দিত তাদের সকলের জন্য তিনি তাই করলেন।
And thus he did for all wives his foreign [who] made smoke and [who] sacrificed to gods their.
9 ৯ এতে সদাপ্রভু শলোমনের উপরে ভীষণ অসন্তুষ্ট হলেন, কারণ যিনি তাঁর কাছে দুবার নিজেকে প্রকাশ করেছিলেন সেই ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর দিক থেকে তাঁর মন ফিরে গিয়েছিল।
And he was angry Yahweh with Solomon for it had turned aside heart his from with Yahweh [the] God of Israel who had appeared to him two times.
10 ১০ তিনি অন্য দেব দেবতাদের পিছনে যেতে তাঁকে মানা করেছিলেন কিন্তু শলোমন সদাপ্রভুর আদেশ পালন করেননি।
And he had commanded to him on the matter this to not to walk after gods other and not he observed [that] which he had commanded Yahweh.
11 ১১ কাজেই সদাপ্রভু শলোমনকে বললেন, “তোমার এই ব্যবহারের জন্য এবং আমার দেওয়া ব্যবস্থা ও নিয়ম অমান্য করবার জন্য আমি অবশ্যই তোমার কাছ থেকে রাজ্য ছিঁড়ে নিয়ে তোমার কর্মচারীকে দেব।
And he said Yahweh to Solomon because that it has been this with you and not you have observed covenant my and statutes my which I commanded to you certainly I will tear away the kingdom from with you and I will give it to servant your.
12 ১২ তবে তোমার বাবা দায়ূদের কথা মনে করে তোমার জীবনকালে আমি তা করব না, কিন্তু তোমার ছেলের হাত থেকে আমি তা ছিঁড়ে নেব।
Only in days your not I will do it for [the] sake of David father your from [the] hand of son your I will tear away it.
13 ১৩ অবশ্য রাজ্যের সবটা আমি তার কাছ থেকে ছিঁড়ে নেব না, কিন্তু আমার দাস দায়ূদের কথা এবং আমার বেছে নেওয়া যিরূশালেমের কথা মনে করে একটা গোষ্ঠী আমি তোমার ছেলেকে দেব।”
Only all the kingdom not I will tear away a tribe one I will give to son your for [the] sake of David servant my and for [the] sake of Jerusalem which I have chosen.
14 ১৪ এর পর সদাপ্রভু শলোমনের বিরুদ্ধে ইদোমীয় হদদকে শত্রু হিসাবে দাঁড় করালেন। ইদোমের রাজবংশে তার জন্ম হয়েছিল।
And he raised up Yahweh an adversary to Solomon Hadad the Edomite [was] one of [the] offspring the king he in Edom.
15 ১৫ দায়ূদ যখন ইদোম দেশের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করছিলেন তখন তাঁর সেনাপতি যোয়াব মৃত লোকদের কবর দেবার জন্য ইদোমে গিয়েছিলেন। সেখানে থাকবার দিন তিনি ইদোমীয় সব পুরুষ লোককে মেরে ফেলেছিলেন।
And it was when was David Edom when went up Joab [the] commander of the army to bury the [ones] slain and he struck down every male in Edom.
16 ১৬ যোয়াব ও ইস্রায়েলের সব সৈন্যেরা ছয় মাস ইদোমে ছিলেন এবং সেখানকার সব পুরুষ লোককে মেরে ফেলেছিলেন।
For six months he remained there Joab and all Israel until he had cut off every male in Edom.
17 ১৭ কিন্তু হদদ তার বাবার কয়েকজন ইদোমীয় কর্মচারীর সঙ্গে মিশরে পালিয়ে গিয়েছিল। সেই দিন সে ছোট ছিল।
And he fled Hadad he and people Edomite some of [the] servants of father his with him to go Egypt and Hadad [was] a youth young.
18 ১৮ তারা মিদিয়ন থেকে রওনা হয়ে পারণে গিয়েছিল এবং পরে সেখান থেকে কিছু লোক নিয়ে তারা মিশরের রাজা ফরৌণের কাছে গিয়েছিল। ফরৌণ হদদকে বাড়ি, জায়গা জমি ও খাবার দিয়েছিলেন।
And they arose from Midian and they went Paran and they took men with them from Paran and they went Egypt to Pharaoh [the] king of Egypt and he gave to him a house and food he assigned to him and land he gave to him.
19 ১৯ ফরৌণ হদদের উপর এত সন্তুষ্ট হয়েছিলেন যে, ফরৌণের স্ত্রী রাণী তহ্পনেষের বোনের সঙ্গে তার বিয়ে দিয়েছিলেন।
And he found Hadad favor in [the] eyes of Pharaoh exceedingly and he gave to him a wife [the] sister of own wife his [the] sister of Tahpenes the queen.
20 ২০ তহ্পনেষের বোনের গর্ভে হদদের একটি ছেলের জন্ম হয়েছিল; সেই ছেলের নাম ছিল গনুবৎ। তহ্পনেষ ছেলেটিকে রাজবাড়ীতে রাখলেন এবং সেখানেই সে মায়ের দুধ খাওয়া ছাড়ল। গনুবৎ সেখানে ফরৌণের ছেলে মেয়েদের সঙ্গেই থাকত।
And she bore to him [the] sister of Tahpenes Genubath son his and she weaned him Tahpenes in [the] midst of [the] household of Pharaoh and he was Genubath [the] house of Pharaoh in among [the] sons of Pharaoh.
21 ২১ মিশরে থাকতেই হদদ শুনল যে, দায়ূদকে তাঁর পূর্বপুরুষদের সঙ্গে কবর দেওয়া হয়েছে এবং সেনাপতি যোয়াবও মারা গেছেন। তখন হদদ ফরৌণকে বলল, “এবার আমাকে যেতে দিন যাতে আমি আমার নিজের দেশে ফিরে যেতে পারি।”
And Hadad he heard in Egypt that he had lain down David with ancestors his and that he had died Joab [the] commander of the army and he said Hadad to Pharaoh let go me so I may go to own land my.
22 ২২ ফরৌণ জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন, “এখানে তোমার কিসের অভাব হয়েছে যে, তুমি নিজের দেশে ফিরে যেতে চাইছ?” উত্তরে হদদ বলল, “কিছুরই অভাব হয়নি, কিন্তু তবুও আমাকে যেতে দিন।”
And he said to him Pharaoh that what? [are] you lacking with me and here you [are] seeking to go to own land your and he said - In-deed really you will let go me.
23 ২৩ শলোমনের বিরুদ্ধে ঈশ্বর আর একজন শত্রু দাঁড় করালেন। সে হল ইলিয়াদার ছেলে রষোণ। সে তার মনিব সোবার রাজা হদদেষরের কাছ থেকে পালিয়ে গিয়েছিল।
And he raised up God to him an adversary Rezon [the] son of Eliada who he had fled from with Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah master his.
24 ২৪ দায়ূদ যখন সোবার সৈন্যদের মেরে ফেলেছিলেন তখন রষোণ কিছু লোক জোগাড় করে নিয়ে একটা লুটেরা দল তৈরী করে তার নেতা হয়ে বসল। এই লোকেরা দম্মেশক দখল করে সেখানে রাজত্ব করতে লাগল।
And he gathered with him men and he was [the] leader of a marauding band when killed David them and they went Damascus and they dwelt in it and they reigned in Damascus.
25 ২৫ শলোমন যতদিন জীবিত ছিলেন ততদিন রষোণ ইস্রায়েলের সঙ্গে শত্রুতা করেছিল আর সেই দিন হদদও ইস্রায়েলের বিরুদ্ধে কাজ করছিল। ইস্রায়েলের বিরুদ্ধে একটা শত্রুভাব নিয়ে রষোণ অরাম দেশে রাজত্ব করত।
And he was an adversary of Israel all [the] days of Solomon and harm which Hadad and he loathed Israel and he reigned over Aram.
26 ২৬ নবাটের ছেলে যারবিয়ামও রাজা শলোমনের বিরুদ্ধে বিদ্রোহ করলেন। তিনি ছিলেন শলোমনের কর্মচারী, সরেদা গ্রামের একজন ইফ্রয়িমীয় লোক। তাঁর মায়ের নাম ছিল সরূয়া; তিনি বিধবা ছিলেন।
And Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat an Ephrathite from Zeredah and [the] name of mother his [was] Zeruah a woman a widow a servant of Solomon and he raised a hand on the king.
27 ২৭ রাজার বিরুদ্ধে যারবিয়ামের বিদ্রোহের একটা কারণ ছিল। যে দিন শলোমন মিল্লো তৈরী করছিলেন এবং তাঁর বাবা দায়ূদের শহরের দেয়ালের ভাঙ্গা অংশ মেরামত করছিলেন,
And this [is] the reason why he raised a hand on the king Solomon he built the Millo he closed up [the] breach of [the] city of David father his.
28 ২৮ সেই দিন যারবিয়াম সেখানে কাজ করছিলেন এবং তাঁর কাজের বেশ সুনাম ছিল। শলোমন যখন দেখলেন যে, যুবকটি বেশ কাজের লোক তখন তিনি তাঁকে যোষেফের বংশের সমস্ত মজুরদের দেখাশোনার ভার দিলেন।
And the man Jeroboam [was] a mighty [man] of strength and he saw Solomon the young man that [was] doing work he and he appointed him to all [the] forced labor of [the] house of Joseph.
29 ২৯ সেই দিন যারবিয়াম এক দিন যিরূশালেমের বাইরে গেলেন। পথে তাঁর সঙ্গে শীলোর ভাববাদী অহিয়ের দেখা হল। অহিয়ের গায়ে ছিল একটা নতুন চাদর। পথে তাঁরা দুজন ছাড়া আর কেউ ছিল না।
And it was at the time that and Jeroboam he had gone out from Jerusalem and he found him Ahijah Shilonite the prophet on the way and he [was] covering himself with a cloak new and [the] two of them to alone them [were] in the open country.
And he seized Ahijah the cloak new which [was] on him and he tore it two plus ten pieces.
31 ৩১ তারপর তিনি যারবিয়ামকে বললেন, “দশটা টুকরো তুমি তুলে নাও, কারণ ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু তোমাকে বলছেন, ‘দেখ, আমি শলোমনের হাত থেকে রাজ্যটা ছিঁড়ে নেব এবং তোমাকে দশটা গোষ্ঠীর ভার দেব।
And he said to Jeroboam take for yourself ten pieces for thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to tear the kingdom from [the] hand of Solomon and I will give to you ten the tribes.
32 ৩২ কিন্তু আমার দাস দায়ূদের জন্য ও ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত গোষ্ঠীর এলাকা থেকে আমার বেছে নেওয়া যিরূশালেমের জন্য কেবল একটা গোষ্ঠী শলোমনের হাতে থাকবে।
And the tribe one it will belong to him for [the] sake of - servant my David and for [the] sake of Jerusalem the city which I have chosen it from all [the] tribes of Israel.
33 ৩৩ আমি এটা করব, কারণ সেই দশ গোষ্ঠী আমাকে ত্যাগ করে সীদোনীয়দের দেবী অষ্টোরতের, মোয়াবের দেবতা কমোশের ও অম্মোনীয়দের দেবতা মিলকমের পূজা করেছে। শলোমনের বাবা দায়ূদ যেমন করতেন তারা তেমন করে নি। তারা আমার পথে চলেনি, আমার চোখে যা ঠিক তা করে নি এবং আমার নিয়ম ও নির্দেশ পালন করে নি।
Because - that they have forsaken me and they have bowed down to Astarte [the] god of [the] Sidonians to Chemosh [the] god of Moab and to Milcom [the] god of [the] people of Ammon and not they have walked in ways my by doing the right in eyes my and statutes my and judgments my like David father his.
34 ৩৪ তবুও আমি শলোমনের হাত থেকে গোটা রাজ্যটা নিয়ে নেব না। আমার দাস দায়ূদ, যাকে আমি বেছে নিয়েছিলাম এবং যে আমার আদেশ ও নিয়ম পালন করত, তার জন্যই আমি শলোমনকে সারা জীবনের জন্য রাজপদে রাখব।
And not I will take all the kingdom from hand his for - ruler I will make him all [the] days of life his for [the] sake of David servant my whom I chose him who he observed commandments my and statutes my.
And I will take the kingship from [the] hand of son his and I will give it to you [the] ten the tribes.
36 ৩৬ আমার বাসস্থান হিসাবে বেছে নেওয়া যিরূশালেম শহরে যেন আমার সামনে আমার দাস দায়ূদের একটা প্রদীপ থাকে সেইজন্য আমি তার ছেলেকে একটা গোষ্ঠীর ভার দেব।
And to son his I will give a tribe one so as to belong a lamp to David servant my all the days - before me in Jerusalem the city which I have chosen for myself to put name my there.
37 ৩৭ কিন্তু আমি তোমাকেই ইস্রায়েলের উপর রাজা করব আর তুমি তোমার প্রাণের সমস্ত ইচ্ছা অনুসারে রাজত্ব করবে।
And you I will take and you will reign over all that it will desire self your and you will be king over Israel.
38 ৩৮ যদি তুমি আমার আদেশ অনুসারে কাজ কর এবং আমার পথে চল আর আমার দাস দায়ূদের মত আমার নিয়ম ও আদেশ পালন করে আমার চোখে যা ঠিক তাই কর তবে আমি তোমার সঙ্গে থাকব। আমি দায়ূদের মতই তোমার বংশে রাজপদ স্থায়ী করব এবং তোমার হাতে ইস্রায়েলকে দেব।
And it will be if you will listen to all that I will command you and you will walk in ways my and you will do the right in eyes my by observing statutes my and commandments my just as he did David servant my and I will be with you and I will build for you a house enduring just as I built for David and I will give to you Israel.
So I may afflicted [the] offspring of David on account of this nevertheless not all the days.
40 ৪০ সেইজন্য শলোমন যারবিয়ামকে মেরে ফেলবার চেষ্টা করলেন, কিন্তু তিনি মিশরের রাজা শীশকের কাছে পালিয়ে গেলেন এবং শলোমনের মৃত্যু না হওয়া পর্যন্ত সেখানে থাকলেন।
And he sought Solomon to put to death Jeroboam and he arose Jeroboam and he fled Egypt to Shishak [the] king of Egypt and he was in Egypt until [the] death of Solomon.
41 ৪১ রাজত্বের বাকি ঘটনার কথা, অর্থাৎ তাঁর কাজ ও জ্ঞানের কথা শলোমনের রাজত্বের ইতিহাসের বইয়ে কি লেখা নেই?
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Solomon and all that he did and wisdom his ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of Solomon.
And the days which he reigned Solomon in Jerusalem over all Israel [were] forty year[s].
43 ৪৩ তারপর তিনি তাঁর পূর্বপুরুষদের সঙ্গে নিদ্রায় গেলেন। তাঁকে তাঁর বাবা দায়ূদের শহরে কবর দেওয়া হল। তারপর তাঁর ছেলে রহবিয়াম তাঁর জায়গায় রাজা হলেন।
And he lay down Solomon with ancestors his and he was buried in [the] city of David father his and he became king Rehoboam son his in place of him.
