1 Ea fa: no bobogesu dunu da mae helele, mae da: i dione sia: ne gadoma: ne, Yesu da fedege sia: ilima olelei.
Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and never despair.
2 E amane sia: i, “Moilai afae ganodini fofada: su dunu esalebe ba: i. E da Godema hame beda: i, amola eno dunuma hame asigisu.
“There was,” he said, “in a certain town a judge, who had no fear of God nor regard for people.
3 Amo moilai ganodini, didalo afae da mae yolele ema fofada: la misini, amane sia: nanu, ‘Na fidima: ne, nama ha lai dunuma fofada: ma!’
In the same town there was a widow who went to him again and again, and said ‘Grant me justice against my opponent.’
4 Fofada: su dunu da ea sia: hidadea hame nabi. Be fa: no, helebeba: le, e da ea dogo ganodini amane sia: i, ‘Na da Godema hame beda: i, amola eno dunuma hame asigisa.
For a time the judge refused, but afterward he said to himself ‘Although I am without fear of God or regard for people,
5 Be amo didalo da mae helele nama mabeba: le, na da se naba. Amaiba: le na da bagadewane helesa: besa: le, na da e fidima: ne, ema ha lai dunu ilima fofada: mu.’
yet, as this widow is so troublesome, I will grant her justice, to stop her from plaguing me with her endless visits.’”
6 Amalalu, Yesu da bu amane sia: i, “Dilia da wadela: i fofada: su dunu ea sia: i nabimu da defea.
Then the Master added, “Listen to what this iniquitous judge says!
7 Dilia adi dawa: bela: ? Gode Ea ilegei fi dunu da Ema gasia amola yoga Ema digini wele sia: beba: le, E da ili fidima: ne fofada: ma: bela: ? E da ili fidima: ne, eso bagohame ouesaloma: bela: ?
And God – won’t he see that his own people, who cry to him night and day, have justice done them – though he holds his hand?
8 Hame mabu! E da hedolowane fidima: ne, fofada: musa: misunu. Be Dunu Egefe da bu misini, doaga: sea, e da osobo bagadega, Gode Ea hou dafawaneyale dawa: su hou ba: ma: bela?”
He will, I tell you, give them justice soon enough! Yet, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”
9 Dunu ilila: hou ilisu ida: iwane dawa: i, amola eno dunu ilia hou da wadela: i ilia dawa: i, amo dunu da noga: le dawa: ma: ne, Yesu da fedege sia: olelei,
Another time, speaking to people who were satisfied that they were religious, and who regarded everyone else with scorn, Jesus told this parable –
10 “Dunu aduna da sia: ne gadomusa: Debolo Diasuga golili sa: i. Afadafa da Fa: lisi dunu, eno da su lidisu dunu.
“Two men went up into the Temple Courts to pray. One was a Pharisee and the other a tax-gatherer.
11 Fa: lisi dunu e da wa: legadole, hina: hou olelema: ne amane sia: ne gadoi, ‘Gode! Na da eno dunu agoane hame. Amaiba: le, na Dima nodone sia: sa. Eno dunu huluane da wamolasu amola wadela: i hou hamosu amola inia uda adole lasu hamosa. Be na hame. Na da amo su lidisu dunu agoane hameba: le, na dima nodone sia: sa.
The Pharisee stood forward and began praying to himself in this way – ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men – thieves, rogues, adulterers – or even like this tax-gatherer.
12 Na da hi ganodini eso aduna ha: i hame naha. Na labe huluane nabuane mogili, afadafa Dima iaha.’
I fast twice a week, and give a tenth of everything I get to God.’
13 Be su lidisu dunu, e sedagawane lelu, gogosiabeba: le, ea si da hamedafa ba: le gadole, ea bida: gi hi loboga fane, amane sia: ne gadoi, ‘Gode! Na da wadela: i bagade dunu! Dia nama asigiba: le, na wadela: i hou gogolema: ne olofoma!’
Meanwhile the tax-gatherer stood at a distance, not venturing even to raise his eyes to heaven, but he kept striking his breast and saying ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’
14 Na dilima sia: sa. Amo dunu da ea diasuga bu asili, ea wadela: i hou gogolema: ne olofoi dagoi ba: i. Be Fa: lisi dunu da agoane hame hamoi. Nowa dunu da hi hou gaguia gadoma: ne, gasa fi hou hamosea, Gode da amo dunu ea hou fonobomu. Be nowa dunu ea hou hi fonobosea, Gode da amo dunu ea hou bu bagade hahamomu.”
This man, I tell you, went home pardoned, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, while everyone who humbles himself will be exalted.”
15 Dunu eno da mano dudubu Yesuma oule misi. Ilia da Yesu amo mano ilia dialuma da: iya Ea lobo ligisima: ne, oule misi. Amo hou ba: beba: le, Yesu Ea ado ba: su dunu da ilima ougili gagabole sia: i.
Some of the people were bringing even their babies to Jesus, for him to touch them; but, when the disciples saw it, they began to find fault with those who had brought them.
16 Be Yesu da amo mano misa: ne sia: nu, amane sia: i, “Mano ilia nama misunu logo mae hedofama. Gode Ea Hinadafa Hou da mano wewai ilia:
Jesus, however, called the little children to him. “Let the little children come to me,” he said, “and do not hinder them, for it is to the childlike that the kingdom of God belongs.
17 Dawa: ma! Nowa dunu da mano ilia hou defelewane Gode Ea Hinadafa Hou hame lalegagusia, e da amo ganodini hamedafa masunu.”
I tell you, unless a man receives the kingdom of God like a child, he will not enter it at all.”
18 Isala: ili ouligisu dunu afae da Yesuma amane adole ba: i, “Olelesu ida: iwane gala! Na da eso huluane mae bogole Fifi Ahoanusu lama: ne, adi hamoma: bela: ?” (aiōnios g166)
And one of the leaders asked Jesus this question – “Good teacher, what must I do if I am to gain eternal life?” (aiōnios g166)
19 Yesu E bu adole i, “Di da abuliba: le Nama ida: iwane dio asulila: ? Dunu huluanedafa da ida: iwane hame. Gode E fawane da ida: iwane gala.
“Why do you call me good?” answered Jesus. “No one is good but God.
20 Gode Ea sema di dawa: ‘Inia uda mae adole lama. Mae medole legema. Mae wamolama. Mae ogogole sia: ma. Dia ada amola dia ame elama nodone asigima.”
You know the commandments – Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not say what is false about others, Honor your father and your mother.”
21 Amo dunu da Yesuma bu adole i, “Na da goihadini eso amogainini amo sema huluane mae giadofale hamoi dagoi.”
“I have observed all these,” he replied, “from childhood.”
22 Amo sia: nababeba: le, Yesu da ema amane sia: i, “Afadafa fawane di da hamomu gala. Dia liligi huluane bidi lale, liligi hame gagui dunuma ima. Amasea, di da gobolo ida: iwane liligi Hebene ganodini ba: mu. Amasea, misini, Nama fa: no bobogema!”
Hearing this, Jesus said to him, “There is one thing still lacking in you; sell everything that you have, and distribute to the poor, and you will have wealth in heaven; then come and follow me.”
23 Be amo sia: nababeba: le, amo dunu da ea liligi bagade gagui amo dawa: beba: le, da: i dioi nabi.
But the man became greatly distressed on hearing this, for he was extremely rich.
24 Ea da: i dioi ba: loba, Yesu da amane sia: i, “Bagade gagui dunu, ilia Gode Ea Hinadafa Hou amoga heda: su logo da ga: nasidafa.
Seeing this, Jesus said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!
25 Ga: mele da nusi ea gelaboga golili masunu da liligisimu. Be bagade gagui dunu ea Gode Ea Hinadafa Hou amo ganodini golili masunu logo da ga: mele ea nusi gelaboga golili ahoasu logo amo ea liligisisu bagadewane baligisa!”
It is easier, indeed, for a camel to get through a needle’s eye than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God!”
26 Amo sia: nabi dunu ilia amane sia: i. “Amaiba: le, nowa da Gode Ea gaga: su hou ba: ma: bela: ?”
“Then who can be saved?” asked those who heard this.
27 Be Yesu da bu adole i, “Osobo bagade dunu ilia hamomu hamedei liligi, Gode da hamomusa: dawa: !”
But Jesus said, “What is impossible with people is possible with God.”
28 Amalalu, Bida e amane sia: i “Be Hina! Ninia da ninia diasu amola liligi fisili, Dima fa: no bobogei dagoi.”
“But we,” said Peter, “we left what belonged to us and followed you.”
29 Yesu E bu adole i, “Na da dilima dafawane sia: sa. Nowa dunu da Gode Ea Hinadafa Hou fidimusa: hanaiba: le, ea diasu amola uda, yolalali, eda, ame, amola mano huluane fisisia,
“I tell you,” he answered, “that there is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God,
31 Yesu da Ea ado ba: su dunu fagoyale gala amo la: ididili oule asili, ilima amane sia: i, “Nabima! Ninia Yelusaleme moilai bai bagadega masunu. Balofede dunu da musa: Dunu Egefe Ea hou olelemusa: sia dedei. Amo dedei hou huluane da doaga: i dagoi ba: mu.
Gathering the Twelve around him, Jesus said to them, “Listen! We are going up to Jerusalem; and there everything that is written in the prophets will be done to the Son of Man.
32 Amasea, ilia da Dunu Egefe amo Dienadaile dunu (Gode Ea hou hame dawa: su dunu) ilima imunu. Ilia da Ema oufesega: ne, gadele, defo adugagala: mu.
For he will be given up to the Gentiles, mocked, insulted and spat on;
33 Ilia da Ea da: i fegasuga fane, medole legemu. Be E da bogole, eso udiana aligili wa: legadomu.”
they will scourge him, and then put him to death; and on the third day he will rise again.”
34 Be amo sia: ea bai da wamolegeiba: le, ilia da noga: le hame dawa: i. Ilia da Yesu Ea sia: be bai hamedafa dawa: i.
The apostles did not comprehend any of this. His meaning was unintelligible to them and they did not understand what he was saying.
35 Yesu da Yeligou moilai gadenenewane laloba, si dofoi dunu da logo bega: fili, muni udigili edegelalebe ba: i.
As Jesus was getting near Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside, begging.
36 Amo dunu da Yesu amola dunu huluane ilia mabe nababeba: le, amane adole ba: i, “Amo da adi hamosala: ?”
Hearing a crowd going by, the man asked what was the matter;
37 Eno dunu ilia amane sia: i, “Yesu, Na: salede dunu, da baligili ahoanebe.”
and, when people told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing,
38 Amalalu, e ha: giwane wele sia: i, “Yesu! Da: ibidi Egefe! Nama asigima!”
he shouted out, “Jesus, Son of David, take pity on me!”
39 Be bisili ahoasu dunu da ema gagabole sia: i, “Ouiya: ma!” Be amo sia: nabasea, e da bu baligiliwane wele sia: i, “Da: ibidi Egefe! Nama asigima!”
Those who were in front kept telling him to be quiet, but he continued to call out the louder, “Son of David, take pity on me!”
40 Amasea, Yesu da oulelu, eno dunu ilia da si dofoi dunu ema oule misa: ne sia: i. E da doaga: loba, Yesu da ema amane adole ba: i,
Then Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. And, when he had come close up to him, Jesus asked him,
41 “Na di fidima: ne, adi hamoma: bela: ?” Si dofoi dunu da bu adole i, “Hina! Na da bu ba: mu hanai gala!”
“What do you want me to do for you?” “Master,” he said, “I want to recover my sight.”
42 Yesu E amane sia: i, “Dia si fadegama! Di da dafawaneyale dawa: beba: le, uhi dagoi.”
And Jesus said, “Recover your sight, your faith has delivered you.”
43 Amasea, mae aligili, ea si da fadegale, e Godema nodone sia: nanuwane Yesuma fa: no bobogei. Dunu huluane amo gasa bagade hou ba: beba: le, Godema nodosu.
Instantly he recovered his sight, and began to follow Jesus, praising God. And all the people, on seeing it, gave glory to God.
