< Apokalipsia 8 >

1 Eta irequi vkan çuenean çazpigarren cigulua, silentio eguin cedin ceruän oren erditsubat.
And when He opened the seventh seal there was a stillness in heaven for about half an hour.
2 Eta ikus nitzan çazpi Aingueru Iaincoaren aitzinean assistitzen dutenac, eta eman cequiztén çazpi trompetta.
And I saw the seven angels who stood before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
3 Eta berce Ainguerubat ethor cedin eta egon cedin aldare aitzinean, vrrhezco encenserbat çuela: eta eman cequión anhitz perfum, Saindu gucién orationequin offrenda litzançát, throno aitzinean den aldare vrrhezcoaren gainean.
And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer. He was given lots of incense so that he could offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar that is before the throne.
4 Eta igan cedin perfumén kea, Sainduén orationequin, Aingueruären escutic Iaincoaren aitzinera.
And the smoke of the incense with the prayers of the saints went up before God out of the angel's hand.
5 Eta har ceçan Aingueruäc encensera, eta bethe ceçan hura aldareco sutic, eta egotz ceçan lurrera: eta eguin citecen igorciriac eta vozac eta chistmistac eta lur ikaratze.
Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it at the earth. And there were noises and thunders and lightnings and an earthquake.
6 Eta çazpi trompettác cituzten çazpi Aingueruäc prepara citecen trompettáz ioitera.
And the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to trumpet.
7 Eta lehen Aingueruäc io ceçan trompettáz, eta eguin ceçan babaçuça eta su odol nahasteca, eta egotz citecen lurrera, eta arborén heren partea, erre cedin, eta belhar pherde gucia erre cedin.
So the first one trumpeted, and there appeared hail and fire mixed with blood, and it [the mixture] was thrown at the earth, and a third of the earth was burned up; that is, a third of the trees was burned up and all green grass was burned up.
8 Eta bigarren Aingueruäc io ceçan trompettáz, eta mendi handi suz erratzen cen-bat beçala egotz cedin itsassora: eta itsassoaren heren partea odol eguin cedin.
So the second angel trumpeted, and something like a great burning mountain was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.
9 Eta hil cedin itsassoan ciraden creatura vicitze çutenen herén partea: eta vncien herén partea deseguin cedin.
And a third of the creatures with souls in the sea died. And a third of the ships were destroyed.
10 Guero herén Aingueruäc io ceçan trompettáz, eta eror cedin cerutic içar handi irachequibat, çucibat beçala, eta eror cedin fuuioen herén partera, eta ithur vretara.
So the third angel trumpeted, and a great star fell out of the sky, burning like a torch, and it fell upon a third of the rivers, and on the springs of waters.
11 Eta içarraren icena erraiten da, Absinthio: eta vrén herén partea Absinthio bilha cedin: eta anhitz guiçon hil cedin vretaric, ceren karmindu içan baitziraden vrac.
The name of the star is called Wormwood; so a third of the waters were turned into wormwood, and many people died from the waters because they were made bitter.
12 Guero Laurgarren Aingueruäc io ceçan trompettáz, eta io cedin iguzquiaren herén partea, eta ilharguiaren herén partea, eta içarren herén partea: hala non hayen herén partea ilhun baitzedin, eta egunaren herén parteac etzuen arguiric eguiten, ez gauärenac halaber.
So the fourth angel trumpeted, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them was darkened; so a third of the day did not shine, and the night likewise.
13 Orduan ikus eta ençun neçan Ainguerubat hegaldatzen cela ceruären erdiaz, cioela ocengui, Maledictione, maledictione, maledictione lurreco habitantey, berce hirur Aingueruec ioren dituzten trompetta soinuacgatic.
And I saw and heard an eagle flying in midheaven saying with a loud voice, three times: “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth because of the remaining trumpet blasts of the three angels who are about to trumpet!”
