1 Orduan erran ceçan Sacrificadore subiranoac, Gauça horiac horrela othe dirade?
Asked then the high priest; whether (therefore *k) these things so are?
2 Eta harc erran ceçan, Guiçon anayeác eta aitác, ençuçue, Gloriazco Iaincoa aguer cequión gure aita Abrahami Mesopotamian cenean, Charranen habita cedin baino lehen:
And he was speaking: Men brothers and fathers, do listen. The God of glory appeared to the father of us Abraham being in Mesopotamia before than dwelling of his in Haran,
3 Eta erran cieçón, Ilki adi eure herritic, eta eure ahaidetaric, eta athor nic eracutsiren drauädan lurrera.
and He said to him; do go out from the country of you and from the kindred of you and come into (the *no) land which then to you I may show.’
4 Orduan ilkiric Chaldeoén herritic habita cedin Charranen. Eta handic, haren aita hil cenean Iaincoac eraman ceçan hura çuec habitatzen çareten lur hunetara.
Then having gone out from [the] land of Chaldeans he dwelt in Haran; And from there And from there after dying the father of him He removed him into land this in which you yourselves now dwell,
5 Eta etzieçón heretageric eman hartan, ez are oinaren bethea-ere: possessionetan hura emanen ceraucala promettatu baceraucan-ere, eta haren haciari haren ondoan, haourric ezpaçuen-ere.
And not He did give to him an inheritance in it not even [give] [the] length of a foot but He promised to give to him for a possession it and to the descendants of him after him, not there being to him a child.
6 Baina hunela erran ceçan Iaincoac, Habitaturen duc hire hacia berceren lurrean: eta han hura suiectionetaco eguinen dié, eta gaizqui tractaturen laur ehun vrthez.
Spoke however (thus *NK+O) God that will be the seed of him a sojourner in a land strange and they will enslave it and they will mistreat [it] years four hundred.
7 Baina hec cerbitzatu duqueiten gendea punituren diat nic, dio Iaincoac: eta guero ilkiren dituc, eta cerbitzaturen nié leku hunetan.
And the nation to which (then *NK+o) (they will be in bondage, *N+kO) will judge I myself, God said and after these things they will come forth and they will serve Me in place this.’
8 Eta eman cieçón Circoncisionezco alliançá: eta hunela Abrahamec engendra ceçan Isaac, eta circoncidi ceçan hura çortzigarreneco egunean: eta Isaac-ec engendra ceçan Iacob, eta Iacob-ec hamabi Patriarchác.
And He gave to him [the] covenant of circumcision; and thus he begat Isaac and circumcised him on the day eighth, and Isaac Jacob, and Jacob the twelve patriarchs.
9 Eta Patriarchéc inuidiaz mouituric, sal ceçaten Ioseph Egypterát eraman ledinçat: baina Iaincoa cen harequin:
And the patriarchs having envied Joseph sold [him] into Egypt; But was God with him
10 Eta idoqui ceçan hura bere tribulatione gucietaric, eta eman cieçón gratia eta sapientia Egypteco regue Pharaoren aitzinean, ceinec ordena baitzeçan hura Egypteco eta bere etche gucico gobernadore.
and rescued him out of all the tribulations of him and gave to him favor and wisdom before Pharaoh king of Egypt and he appointed him ruler over Egypt and (over *n) all the house of him.
11 Eta ethor cedin gossetebat Egypteco herri gucira, eta Chanaan-era, eta herstura handia: eta etzutén erideiten iatecoric gure Aitéc.
Came then a famine upon all the (land *k) (of Egypt *N+kO) and Canaan and affliction great and not were finding sustenance the fathers of us.
12 Baina ençun ceçanean Iacob-ec bacela ogui Egypten, igor citzan gure Aitác lehenic.
Having heard now Jacob [there] is (grain in Egypt *N+kO) he sent forth the fathers of us first,
13 Eta bigarren aldian eçagut cedin Ioseph bere anayéz, eta declara cequion Pharaori Iosephen leinua.
and on the second time (was recognised by *NK+o) Joseph the to brothers of him, and known became to Pharaoh the family (of Joseph. *NK+O)
14 Orduan mandatariac igorriric Iosephec erekar ceçan bere aita Iacob, eta bere ahacoa gucia, baitziraden hiruroguey eta hamaborz persona.
Having sent then Joseph he called for Jacob the father of him and all the kindred (of him *k) in all souls seventy five.
15 Iauts cedin bada Iacob Egyptera, eta hil cedin hura, eta gure Aitác.
(And *no) went down (now *ko) Jacob into Egypt and died he himself and the fathers of us

and they were carried over into Shechem and were placed in the tomb (which *N+kO) bought Abraham for a sum of silver from the sons of Hamor (in *N+kO) Shechem.
17 Baina Iaincoac Abrahami iuratu ceraucan promessaren dembora hurbiltzen cela, augmenta cedin populua eta multiplica Egypten:
Even as now was drawing near the time of the promise that (he agreed *N+KO) God to Abraham, increased the people and multiplied in Egypt
18 Berce reguebat Ioseph eçagutu etzuenic altcha cedino.
until that there arose king another (over Egypt *NO) who not knew Joseph.
19 Hare gure nationearen contra fineciaz vsatzen çuela, gaizqui tracta citzan gure aitác, bere haourrén heriotara abandonna eraciterano, arraçá falta ledinçát.
He having dealt treacherously with the race of us he mistreated the fathers of us making [them] the infants abandon of them unto the not to be given life.
20 Dembora hartan sor cedin Moyses, eta cen Iaincoaren gogaraco: cein hirur hilebethez haci içan baitzén bere aitaren etchean.
In that time was born Moses and he was beautiful to God; who was brought up months three in the house of the father (of him; *k)
21 Guero hura abandonnatu içan cenean, era-man ceçan Pharaoren alabác, eta haz ceçan beretaco semetan.
(When was being exposed *N+kO) then (he *N+kO) took up him the daughter of Pharaoh and brought up him for herself for a son.
22 Eta instruitu içan cen Moyses Egyptecoen sapientia gucian, eta cen botheretsu erranetan eta eguinetan.
And was instructed Moses (in *no) all [the] wisdom of [the] Egyptians; he was now mighty in words and (in *k) deeds (of him. *no)
23 Baina bethe çayonean berroguey vrtheren demborá, igan cequión bihotzera bere anayén Israeleco semén, visitatzera ioan ledin:
When then was fulfilled to him of forty years a period, it came into the mind of him to visit the brothers of him the sons of Israel.
24 Eta ikussiric iniuria hartzen çuembat, defenda ceçan eta mendeca bidegabe hartzen çuena, Egyptianoa ioric.
And having seen a certain one being wronged he defended [him] and he did vengeance for the [one] being oppressed having struck down the Egyptian.
25 Eta vste çuen aditzen çutela haren anayéc ecen Iaincoac haren escuz deliurança eman behar cerauela: baina hec etzeçaten adi.
He was supposing now to understand the brothers of him that God through [the] hand of him is giving salvation to them; but not they understood.
26 Eta biharamunean hec guducatzen ciradela, eriden cedin hayén artean, eta enseya cedin hayén baquetzen, cioela, Guiçonác, anaye çarete çuec: cergatic batac berceari gaizqui eguiten draucaçue?
On the and following day he appeared to those who were quarreling and (was reconciling *N+KO) them to peace having said: Men, brothers are (you yourselves; *k) why why wrong one another?
27 Baina hurcoari gaizqui eguiten ceraucanac bulka ceçan hura, cioela, Norc ordenatu au gure gaineco prince eta iuge?
The [one] however mistreating the neighbour pushed away him having said; Who you appointed ruler and judge over (us? *N+kO)
28 Ala ni hic nahi nauc hil, atzo Egyptianoa hil auen beçala?
Surely not to execute me you yourself desire [the] same way you executed yesterday the Egyptian?’
29 Orduan ihes eguin ceçan Moysesec hitz hunegatic, eta arrotz eguin cedin Madiango lurrean, non engendra baitzitzan bi seme.
Fled then Moses at remark this and became exiled in [the] land of Midian, where he begat sons two.
30 Eta berroguey vrthe complitu cituenean aguer cequión Sinaco mendico desertuan Iaunaren Aingueruä, berro batetaco su-garrean.
And when were passing years forty appeared to him in the wilderness of the Mount Sinai an angel (of [the] Lord *K) in a flame of fire of a bush.
31 Eta Moyses hori ikussiric miraz iar cedin visioneaz: eta consideratzera hurbiltzen cela eguin cedin harengana Iaunaren voza,
And Moses having seen [it] was marvelling at the vision; When is approaching then he to behold [it], there was [the] voice of [the] Lord (to him: *K)
32 Cioela, Ni nauc hire aitén Iaincoa, Abrahamen Iaincoa., eta Isaac-en Iaincoa, eta Iacob-en Iaincoa. Eta Moyses ikara çabilala etzén consideratzera venturatzen.
I myself [am] the God of the Fathers of you, the God of Abraham and (the God *k) of Isaac and (the God *k) of Jacob.’ Terrified then having become Moses not he was daring to look.

Having seen I saw the oppression of the people of Mine in Egypt and the groans (of them *NK+o) I have heard; and I have come down to deliver them; and now come (I may send *N+kO) you to Egypt.’
35 Moyses arnegatu çutén haur, cioitela, Norc hi ordenatu au prince eta iuge? haur bada Iaincoac prince eta liberaçale igor çeçan, Aingueru berroan aguertu içan çayonaren escuz.
This Moses whom they rejected having said; Who you appointed ruler and judge?’ — him [whom] God [as] (and *no) ruler and redeemer (has sent by *N+kO) [the] hand of [the] angel who having appeared to him in the bush.
36 Hunec campora idoqui citzan hec, miraculuac eta signoac eguinez Egypten, eta itsasso gorrian, eta desertuan, berroguey vrthez.
this one led out them having done wonders and signs in ([the] land of *NK+o) (Egypt *N+kO) and in [the] Red Sea and in the wilderness years forty.
37 Moyses haur da erran cerauena Israeleco haourrey, Prophetabat suscitaturen drauçue çuen Iainco Iaunac çuen anayetaric ni beçalacoric: hari beha çaquizquiote.
This is the Moses having said to the sons of Israel; A prophet for you will raise up ([the] Lord *K) God (of you *K+O) out from the brothers of you like me myself (of him you will listen to. *K)
38 Haur da congregationean desertuan içan cena, Aingueruärequin, cein minçatzen baitzayón Sinaco mendian, eta gure Aitequin içana, ceinec recebitu baititu hitz viciac guri emaiteco.
This is the [one] having been in the congregation in the wilderness with the angel who is speaking to him in the Mount Sinai and of the fathers of us who received (oracles *NK+O) living to give (to us; *NK+O)
39 Ceini ezpaitzaizca behatu nahi içan gure Aitác, baina refusatu vkan duté, eta itzuli içan dirade bere bihotzez Egypterát:
to whom not wanted obedient to be the fathers of us, but they thrust away and they turned back (in *no) (the hearts *NK+o) of them to Egypt,
40 Ciotsatela Aaroni, Eguin ietzaguc gure aitzinean dohazquen Iaincoac: ecen Moysesi, ceinec Egypteco lurretic campora eraman baiquaitu, etzeaquiagu cer heldu içan çayón.
having said to Aaron; do make us gods who will go before us; As for Moses this who brought out us from [the] land of Egypt, not we know what (happened *N+kO) to him.’
41 Eta aretzebat eguin ceçaten egun hetan, eta offrenda cieçoten sacrificio idolari: eta delectatzen ciraden bere escuezco obra eguinetan.
And they made a calf in the days those and offered a sacrifice to the idol and they were rejoicing in the works of the hands of them.
42 Orduan guibelaz itzul cequién Iaincoa, eta abandonna citzan ceruco gendarmeriaren cerbitzatzera: Prophetén liburuän scribatua den beçala, Israeleco etcheá, ala offrendatu drauzquidaçue niri oblationeac eta sacrificioac berroguey vrthez desertuan?
Turned away however God and delivered them to worship the host of heaven, even as it has been written in [the] book of the prophets: Not slain beasts and sacrifices did you offer to Me years forty in the wilderness, O house of Israel?
43 Aitzitic hartu vkan duçue Moloch-en tabernaclea, eta çuen Iainco Remphamen içarra, eta figura hec adoratzeco eguin dituçue: hunegatic irionen çaituztet Babylonez alde hartara.
And You took up the tabernacle of Moloch and the star of the god of you Rephan, the images that you made to worship them; and I will remove you beyond Babylon.’
44 Testimoniageco tabernaclea gure aitequin içan da desertuan, nola ordenatu baitzuen Moysesi erran ceraucanac, hura eguin leçan ikussi çuen formaren ançora.
The tabernacle of the testimony was (among *K) the fathers of us in the wilderness, even as had commanded the [One] speaking to Moses to make it according to the pattern that he had seen;
45 Tabernacle hura-ere gure Aitéc recebituric eraman ceçaten Iosuerequin Gentilén possessionera, cein iraitzi vkan baititu Iaincoac gure Aitén aitzinetic Dauid-en egunetarano.
which also brought [it] having received by succession the fathers of us with Joshua in the taking possession of the nations whom drove out God from [the] face of the fathers of us until the days of David;
46 Ceinec eriden baitzeçan gratia Iaincoaren aitzinean, eta esca cedin eriden leçan tabernaclebat Iacob-en Iaincoarendaco.
who found favor before God and asked to find a dwelling place for the (house *N+KO) of Jacob.
47 Eta Salomonec edifica cieçón etchebat.
Solomon however built for Him [the] house.
48 Baina Subiranoa ezta escuz eguin templetan habitatzen nola Prophetác erraiten baitu,
Yet not the Most High in hand-made (temples *K) dwells, Even as the prophet says:
49 Ceruä da ene thronoa, eta lurra ene oinén scabellá. Cer etche edificaturen drautaçue niri? dio Iaunac: edo cein da ene repausatzeco lekua?
Heaven [is] to Me a throne, (and *NK+o) the earth a footstool of the feet of Mine; What kind of house will you build Me? says [the] Lord, or what [is] [the] place of the rest of Mine?
50 Ala eztitu ene escuac eguin gauça horiac guciac?
Surely the hand of Mine has made these things all?’
51 Gende garhondo gogorrác, eta bihotz eta beharri circonciditu gabeác, çuec bethi Spiritu sainduari contrastatzen çaizquiote, çuen aitác beçala, çuec-ere.
Stiff-necked and uncircumcised (in the *k+o) (hearts *N+kO) (of you *o) and in ears, you yourselves always the Spirit Holy resist, as the fathers of you also you;
52 Prophetetaric cein eztute persecutatu çuen aitéc? hil-ere badituzte Iustoaren aduenimendua aitzinetic erran dutenac, ceinen tradiçale eta erhaile orain çuec içan baitzarete.
Which of the prophets not did persecute the fathers of you? And they killed those having foretold about the coming of the Righteous One, of whom now you yourselves betrayers and murderers (have become; *N+kO)
53 Ceinéc recebitu baituçue Leguea Aingueruén ministerioz, eta ezpaituçue beguiratu.
who received the law by [the] ordination of angels and not kept [it].
54 Eta gauça hauén ençutean, leher eguiten çuten bere bihotzetan eta hortz garrascotsez ceuden haren contra.
Hearing now these things they felt cut up in the hearts of them and were gnashing the teeth at him.
55 Baina nola baitzén Spiritu sainduaz bethea, cerurát beguiac altchaturic ikus ceçan Iaincoaren gloria, eta Iesus Iaincoaren escuinean cegoela.
He being however full of [the] Spirit Holy, having looked intently into heaven saw [the] glory of God and Jesus already standing at [the] right hand of God
56 Eta dio, Huná, ikusten ditut ceruäc irequiac. eta guiçonaren Semea Iaincoaren escuinean dagoela.
and he said; Behold I see the heavens (opened up *N+kO) and the Son of Man at [the] right [hand] already standing of God.
57 Orduan hec oihu handiz iarriric bere beharriac boça citzaten, eta gogo batez oldar citecen haren contra.
Having cried out then in a voice loud they held the ears of them and rushed with one accord upon him;
58 Eta hiritic campora iraitziric lapidatzen çuten: eta testimonioec eçar citzaten bere abillamenduac Saul deitzen cen guiçon gazte baten oinetara.
and having cast [him] out of the city they were stoning [him]. And the witnesses laid aside the garments of them at the feet of a young man named Saul
59 Eta lapidatzen çutén Esteben, inuocatzen eta erraiten çuela, Iesus Iauná, recebi eçac ene spiritua.
And [as] they were stoning Stephen he was calling out and saying; Lord Jesus, do receive the spirit of mine.
60 Eta belhaurico iarriric oihu eguin ceçan ocengui Iauna, eztieceala imputa bekatu haur, Eta haur erran çuenean lokar cedin.
Having fallen then on [his] knees he cried in a voice loud; Lord, not may place to them this sin. And this having said he fell asleep.
