1 Beləliklə, imanla saleh sayıldığımız üçün Rəbbimiz İsa Məsih vasitəsilə Allahla barışmış oluruq.
Being justified therefore by faith, let us have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 Elə Məsihin vasitəsilə də daxilində qaldığımız lütfə imanla nail olduq və Allahın izzətinə ümid bağlamağımızla fəxr edirik.
By whom also we have access through faith into this grace, wherein we stand, and glory in the hope of the glory of the sons of God.
3 Yalnız bununla deyil, çəkdiyimiz əziyyətlərlə də fəxr edirik, çünki bilirik ki, əziyyətdən dözüm,
And not only so; but we glory also in tribulations, knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 dözümdən Allaha xoş gəlmə, Allaha xoş gəlmədən ümid yaranır.
And patience trial; and trial hope;
5 Ümidimiz də boşa çıxmır, çünki Allah məhəbbəti bizə verilən Müqəddəs Ruh vasitəsilə ürəklərimizə tökülüb.
And hope confoundeth not: because the charity of God is poured forth in our hearts, by the Holy Ghost, who is given to us.
6 Biz hələ gücsüz ikən Məsih müəyyən zamanda allahsız adamların uğrunda öldü.
For why did Christ, when as yet we were weak, according to the time, die for the ungodly?
7 Saleh bir adam uğrunda kiminsə ölməsi çətin işdir; bəlkə də yaxşı bir adam uğrunda kimsə ölməyə cəsarət edər.
For scarce for a just man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man some one would dare to die.
8 Lakin Allah bizə olan məhəbbətini bununla sübut edir ki, biz hələ günahkar ola-ola Məsih bizim uğrumuzda öldü.
But God commendeth his charity towards us; because when as yet we were sinners, according to the time,
9 Beləcə Onun qanı ilə indi saleh sayıldığımıza görə Onun vasitəsilə də Allahın qəzəbindən mütləq xilas olacağıq.
Christ died for us; much more therefore, being now justified by his blood, shall we be saved from wrath through him.
10 Əgər biz Allahın düşməni olduğumuz vaxt Onun Oğlunun ölməsi ilə Allahla barışdıqsa, barışdıqdan sonra Onun həyatı vasitəsilə daha qəti olaraq xilas olacağıq.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son; much more, being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
11 Yalnız bununla deyil, Rəbbimiz İsa Məsih vasitəsilə Allahla da fəxr edirik ki, indi Onun vasitəsilə Allahla barışığa nail olmuşuq.
And not only so; but also we glory in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received reconciliation.
12 Beləliklə, günah bir insan vasitəsilə, ölüm də günah vasitəsilə bu dünyaya gəldi. Beləcə ölüm bütün insanlara yayıldı, çünki hamı günah etdi.
Wherefore as by one man sin entered into this world, and by sin death; and so death passed upon all men, in whom all have sinned.
13 Qanundan əvvəl də dünyada günah var idi. Amma qanun olmayanda günah hesaba alınmır.
For until the law sin was in the world; but sin was not imputed, when the law was not.
14 Lakin Adəmdən Musaya qədər ölüm hamıya, hətta Adəmin əmri pozmasına bənzər bir günah etməyənlərə də hökmranlıq etdi. Adəm o gələcək İnsanın əvvəlcədən göstərilən təsviri idi.
But death reigned from Adam unto Moses, even over them also who have not sinned after the similitude of the transgression of Adam, who is a figure of him who was to come.
15 Amma Allahın ənamı təqsir kimi deyil. Çünki bir adamın təqsiri üzündən çox adam öldüsə də, Allahın lütfü və bir Adamın, yəni İsa Məsihin lütfü ilə verilən ənam bir çoxları üçün daha böyük təsir göstərdi.
But not as the offence, so also the gift. For if by the offence of one, many died; much more the grace of God, and the gift, by the grace of one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 Allahın ənamı həmin bir adamın günahının nəticəsi kimi deyil: bir günahdan sonra gələn hökm məhkumluq gətirdi, amma çoxlu təqsirdən sonra gələn ənam salehlik gətirdi.
And not as it was by one sin, so also is the gift. For judgment indeed was by one unto condemnation; but grace is of many offences, unto justification.
17 Əgər bir adamın təqsiri üzündən ölüm həmin adamın vasitəsilə hökmranlıq etdisə, Allahın bol lütfünü və salehlik ənamını qəbul edənlər bir Adam, yəni İsa Məsih vasitəsilə daha qəti olaraq həyatda hökmranlıq edəcək.
For if by one man’s offence death reigned through one; much more they who receive abundance of grace, and of the gift, and of justice, shall reign in life through one, Jesus Christ.
18 Deməli, necə ki bir təqsir üzündən bütün adamlar məhkum olundu, eləcə də bir saleh əmələ görə bütün adamlara yaşamaq üçün salehlik verildi.
Therefore, as by the offence of one, unto all men to condemnation; so also by the justice of one, unto all men to justification of life.
19 Necə ki bir adamın itaətsizliyi üzündən bir çoxları günahkar sayıldı, eləcə də bir Adamın itaəti sayəsində bir çoxları saleh sayılacaq.
For as by the disobedience of one man, many were made sinners; so also by the obedience of one, many shall be made just.
20 Qanunun meydana gəlməsi təqsirin çoxalmasına səbəb oldu. Lakin günah çoxalan yerdə Allahın lütfü daha da çoxaldı.
Now the law entered in, that sin might abound. And where sin abounded, grace did more abound.
21 Nəticədə günah ölüm vasitəsilə hökmranlıq etdiyi kimi lütf də salehlik vasitəsilə hökmranlıq edir; belə ki lütf Rəbbimiz İsa Məsihin vasitəsilə əbədi həyat versin. (aiōnios g166)
That as sin hath reigned to death; so also grace might reign by justice unto life everlasting, through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
