Romalilara 12
1 Beləliklə, ey qardaşlar, Allahın mərhəməti xatirinə sizə yalvarıram ki, bədənlərinizi diri, müqəddəs və Allahı razı salan bir qurban olaraq Ona təqdim edin; bu sizin ağılla etdiyiniz ibadətdir.
I urge you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to God, your reasonable religious service.
2 Bu dövrə uyğunlaşmayın, əksinə, düşüncənizin təzələnməsi ilə dəyişin ki, Allahın yaxşı, razı salan və kamil iradəsini ayırd edəsiniz. (aiōn g165)
Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may determine what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. (aiōn g165)
3 Mənə verilən lütflə sizin hər birinizə deyirəm ki, lazım olduğundan artıq özünüz barədə yüksək fikirdə olmayın; lakin hər biriniz Allahın ona verdiyi imanın ölçüsünə görə ağıl-kamalla düşünün.
For by the grace given to me I tell everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think, but to think sensibly, in accordance with the measure of faith that God has distributed to each one of you.
4 Çünki bizim bir bədənimizdə çoxlu üzvlər olduğu halda onların hər birinin vəzifəsi heç də eyni deyil.
For just as in one body we have many members, and all the members do not have the same function,
5 Eləcə biz də çox olduğumuz halda Məsihdə bir bədənik və ayrı-ayrılıqda bir-birimizə bağlı üzvlərik.
so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
6 Allahın bizə bağışladığı lütfə görə müxtəlif ruhani ənamlarımız var. Bir kəsin ənamı peyğəmbərlikdirsə, imanının ölçüsünə görə peyğəmbərlik etsin;
We have different gifts according to the grace given to us. If someone's gift is prophecy, he should prophesy in proportion to his faith;
7 ənamı xidmətdirsə, xidmət etsin; müəllimlikdirsə, öyrətsin;
if it is service, he should serve; if it is teaching, he should teach;
8 nəsihət verəndirsə, nəsihət versin; pay verəndirsə, səxavətlə, rəhbərdirsə, səylə, mərhəmət göstərəndirsə, sevinə-sevinə öz işini görsün.
if it is exhortation, he should exhort; if it is giving, he should do so generously; if it is leadership, he should do so diligently; if it is showing mercy, he should do so cheerfully.
9 Qoy məhəbbətiniz riyasız olsun. Pislikdən ikrah edin, yaxşılığa bağlanın.
Love must be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good.
10 Qardaşlıq sevgisi ilə bir-birinizi sevin. Hörmət göstərməkdə bir-birinizi qabaqlayın.
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Take the lead in honoring one another.
11 Səyiniz azalmasın, ruhunuz alovlu olsun. Rəbbə qulluq edin.
Do not lack diligence in zeal, but be fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
12 Ümidinizlə sevinin. Əziyyətdə dözümlü olun. Dayanmadan dua edin.
Rejoice in hope, persevere in tribulation, and persist in prayer.
13 Ehtiyac içində olan müqəddəslərə yardım etməyə şərik olun. Qonaqpərvər olmağa səy göstərin.
Contribute to the needs of the saints, and pursue hospitality.
14 Sizi təqib edənlərə xeyir-dua verin; lənət yox, xeyir-dua verin.
Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse.
15 Sevinənlərlə sevinin, ağlayanlarla ağlayın.
Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
16 Bir-birinizlə həmfikir olun; təkəbbürlü olmayın, məzlumlarla dostluq edin. Özünüzü ağıllı saymayın.
Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation.
17 Heç kimə pislik əvəzinə pislik etməyin. Hamının gözündə yaxşı olan işlər görməyə diqqət yetirin.
Repay no one evil for evil, but have regard for what is right in the sight of all.
18 İmkan daxilində bacardıqca bütün adamlarla sülh içində yaşayın.
If possible, as far as it depends on you, be at peace with everyone.
19 Ey sevimlilər, heç kəsdən qisas almayın, Allahın qəzəbinə yer verin. Çünki yazılıb ki, Rəbb belə deyir: «Qisas Mənimdir, əvəzini Mən verəcəyəm».
Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord.”
20 Əksinə, «düşmənin acdırsa, onu yedizdir, susuzdursa, ona su ver. Belə etməklə sanki onun başına köz tökərsən».
Therefore, “if yoʋr enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by doing so, yoʋ will heap coals of fire on his head.”
21 Pislik sənə üstün gəlməsin, pisliyə yaxşılıqla qalib gəl.
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
