Matta 22
1 İsa yenə onlara məsəllərlə xitab edərək dedi:
And Jesus answered, and spoke to them again by parables, and said,
2 «Səmavi Padşahlıq oğluna toy ziyafəti verən bir padşaha bənzəyir.
The kingdom of heaven is like to a certain king, who made a marriage for his son,
3 O, toy ziyafətinə dəvət olunanları çağırmaq üçün qullarını göndərdi. Lakin onlar gəlmək istəmədi.
And sent his servants to call them that were invited to the wedding: and they would not come.
4 Bir daha başqa qulları göndərərək onlara dedi: “Dəvət olunanlara deyin ki, budur, mən ziyafətimi hazırladım, öküzlərim və bəslənmiş heyvanlarım kəsilib, hər şey hazırdır, toy ziyafətinə gəlin!”
Again, he sent other servants, saying, Tell them who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and [my] fatlings [are] killed, and all things [are] ready: come to the marriage.
5 Amma dəvət olunanlar etinasızlıq göstərərək kimi tarlasına, kimi ticarətinə getdi.
But they made light of [it], and went, one to his farm, another to his merchandise.
6 O biriləri isə onun qullarını tutub təhqir etdilər və öldürdülər.
And the remnant took his servants, and treated [them] spitefully, and slew [them].
7 Padşah bundan xəbər tutaraq qəzəbləndi. Öz qoşunlarını göndərib o qatilləri məhv etdi, şəhərlərini isə yandırdı.
But when the king heard [of it], he was wroth: and he sent his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
8 Onda qullarına dedi: “Toy ziyafəti hazırdır, fəqət dəvət olunanlar buna layiq deyil.
Then he saith to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they who were invited were not worthy.
9 Beləliklə, yolayrıclarına gedin və kimi tapsanız, toy ziyafətinə dəvət edin”.
Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, invite to the marriage.
10 Həmin qullar yollara çıxdılar. Pis-yaxşı kimi tapdılarsa, hamısını topladılar. Toy məclisi qonaqlarla doldu.
So those servants went out into the highways, and collected all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
11 Padşah qonaqlara baxmaq üçün girdikdə orada toy libası geyməmiş bir nəfəri gördü,
And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man who had not a wedding-garment:
12 ona dedi: “Dostum! Sən toy libası geyməmiş buraya necə girdin?” O isə susdu.
And he saith to him, Friend, how camest thou in hither, not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless.
13 O zaman padşah xidmətçilərə dedi: “Onun əllərini, ayaqlarını bağlayın və qaranlıq çölə atın! Orada ağlaşma və diş qıcırtısı olacaq”.
Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast [him] into utter darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 Çünki dəvət edilmiş çox, seçilmiş isə azdır».
For many are called, but few [are] chosen.
15 O zaman fariseylər gedib məsləhətləşirdilər ki, Onu söz üstündə necə tutsunlar.
Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in [his] talk.
16 Onlar hirodçularla birgə öz şagirdlərini İsanın yanına göndərib dedilər: «Müəllim, biz bilirik ki, Sən etibarlı adamsan, Allahın yolunu həqiqətə görə öyrədirsən və heç kimə tərəfkeşlik etmirsən. Çünki insanlar arasında fərq qoymursan.
And they sent out to him their disciples, with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any [man]: for thou regardest not the person of men.
17 İndi bizə de görək, Səncə bizim üçün qeysərə vergi verməyə icazə var ya yox?»
Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute to Cesar, or not?
18 Amma İsa onların pis niyyətini bilərək dedi: «Ey ikiüzlülər, Məni niyə sınağa çəkirsiniz?
But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, [ye] hypocrites?
19 Vergi verdiyiniz sikkəni Mənə göstərin». Onlar da Ona bir dinar gətirdilər.
Show me the tribute-money. And they brought to him a penny.
20 İsa onlara dedi: «Sikkənin üstündəki bu təsvir və yazı kimindir?»
And he saith to them, Whose [is] this image, and superscription?
21 Ona dedilər: «Qeysərin». O vaxt İsa onlara dedi: «Elə isə, qeysərin haqqını qeysərə, Allahın haqqını Allaha verin».
They say to him, Cesar's. Then saith he to them, Render therefore to Cesar, the things which are Cesar's; and to God, the things that are God's.
22 Bunu eşitdikləri zaman heyrətləndilər və İsanı tərk edib getdilər.
When they had heard [these words], they marveled, and left him, and departed.
23 Həmin gün dirilmənin olmadığını iddia edən bəzi sadukeylər İsanın yanına gəlib soruşdular:
The same day came to him the Sadducees, who say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,
24 «Müəllim, Musa belə demişdir: “Əgər bir adam övladsız ölsə, qardaşı onun dul qalmış arvadını alıb ölən qardaşın nəslini davam etdirsin”.
Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man shall die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed to his brother.
25 Aramızda yeddi qardaş var idi. Birincisi bir arvad aldı və öldü. Uşağı olmadığından arvadı ilə qardaşı evləndi.
Now there were with us seven brothers: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased; and having no issue, left his wife to his brother.
26 İkincisi və üçüncüsü, hətta yeddincisinə qədər eləcə öldü.
Likewise the second also, and the third, to the seventh.
27 Hamısından sonra bu qadın da öldü.
And last of all the woman died also.
28 İndi ölülər diriləndə bu qadın o yeddi nəfərdən hansının arvadı olacaq? Çünki hamısı bu qadını almışdı».
Therefore in the resurrection, whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
29 İsa onlara cavab verib dedi: «Müqəddəs Yazıları və Allahın qüdrətini bilmədiyinizə görə yanılırsınız.
Jesus answered and said to them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 Ona görə ki ölülər diriləndə insanlar nə evlənir, nə də ərə gedirlər. Ancaq səmadakı mələklər kimi olurlar.
For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
31 Bəs ölülərin dirilməsinə gəlincə, Allah tərəfindən sizə “Mən İbrahimin Allahı, İshaqın Allahı və Yaqubun Allahıyam” deyə söylənən sözü oxumamısınızmı? Allah ölülərin deyil, dirilərin Allahıdır».
But as concerning the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken to you by God, saying,
I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
33 Bunları eşidən camaat Onun təliminə təəccüblənirdi.
And when the multitude heard [this], they were astonished at his doctrine.
34 Fariseylər İsanın sadukeyləri susdurduğunu eşidəndə bir yerə toplaşdılar.
But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were assembled about him.
35 Onlardan biri olan qanunşünas İsanı sınamaq məqsədi ilə Ondan bunu soruşdu:
Then one of them [who was] a lawyer, asked [him a question], tempting him, and saying,
36 «Müəllim, Qanunda ən böyük əmr hansıdır?»
Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law?
37 İsa ona dedi: «“Allahın Rəbbi bütün qəlbinlə, bütün varlığınla və bütün düşüncənlə sev”.
Jesus said to him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 Bu, böyük və əsas əmrdir.
This is the first and great commandment.
39 Buna bənzəyən ikincisi budur: “Qonşunu özün kimi sev”.
And the second [is] like it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
40 Bütün Qanun və Peyğəmbərlərin sözləri bu iki əmrə əsaslanır».
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
41 Fariseylər toplaşdıqda İsa onlardan bunu soruşdu:
While the Pharisees were assembled, Jesus asked them,
42 «Məsih haqqında nə düşünürsünüz? O kimin Oğludur?» Onlar da İsaya «Davudun Oğlu» dedilər.
Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say to him, [The son] of David.
43 İsa onlara dedi: «Elə isə, nə üçün Davud Ruh vasitəsilə Ona “Ağa” deyə müraciət edir?
He saith to them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,
44 “Rəbb mənim Ağama dedi: ‹Mən düşmənlərini ayaqlarının altına salanadək Sağımda otur›” deyib.
The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thy enemies thy footstool?
45 Əgər Davud Ona “Ağa” deyə müraciət edirsə, O necə Davudun oğlu ola bilər?»
If David then calleth him Lord, how is he his son?
46 Bunun cavabında İsaya kimsə bir söz deyə bilmədi. O gündən sonra artıq heç kim Ondan bir şey soruşmağa cəsarət etmədi.
And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any [man], from that day forth, ask him any more questions.
