1 Aranızda daimi qardaşlıq sevgisi olsun.
Let brotherly love continue.
2 Qonaqpərvər olmağı da unutmayın, çünki belə davranan bəziləri bilmədən mələklərə qonaqpərvərlik göstərmişlər.
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for, by this means, some have unconsciously entertained angels.
3 Özünüzü həbsdə olanların yerinə qoyaraq onları yada salın. Əzab-əziyyət içində olanları da elə xatırlayın ki, sanki özünüz onlarla birgə əzab-əziyyət çəkirsiniz.
Remember those who are in bonds, as if you yourselves had been bound, and those who suffer affliction, since you yourselves are in the body.
4 Qoy hər kəs nikaha hörmətlə yanaşsın. Qoy ər-arvad yatağı murdarlanmasın. Çünki Allah əxlaqsızları və zinakarları mühakimə edəcək.
Marriage is honorable among all men, and the bed undefiled; but lewd men and adulterers God will judge.
5 Həyatınız pulpərəstlikdən azad olsun, nəyiniz varsa, ona qane olun. Çünki Allah Özü demişdir: «Səni heç vaxt atmaram, səni heç vaxt tərk etmərəm».
Let there be no money-loving disposition; be content with such things as you have. For he has said: I will never leave you, nor will I ever forsake you.
6 Buna görə biz arxayınlıqla deyirik: «Rəbb mənə yardım edəndir, heç qorxmaram. İnsan mənə nə edə bilər?»
So, then, we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man will do to me.
7 Allahın kəlamını sizə danışan rəhbərlərinizi yada salın. Onların həyat tərzinin nəticəsinə baxıb imanlarını nümunə olaraq götürün.
Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken to you the word of God: attentively consider the result of their conduct, and imitate their faith.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and to-day, and forever. (aiōn g165)
9 Müxtəlif və yad təlimlərlə yoldan azmayın, çünki ürək yeməklərlə deyil, Allahın lütfü ilə qüvvətlənsə, yaxşıdır. Bu cür yemək qaydalarına riayət edənlər bir xeyir görmədilər.
Be not carried away by various and strange teachings: for it is good that the heart be strengthened with grace, not with meats, which have not profited those who were occupied with them.
10 Bizim bir qurbangahımız var ki, ibadət çadırında xidmət edənlərin ondan yeməyə icazəsi yoxdur.
We have a sacrifice, of which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.
11 Çünki baş kahin günah qurbanı olan heyvanların qanını Müqəddəs yerə gətirir, cəsədləri isə düşərgənin kənarında yandırılır.
For the bodies of those animals whose blood, shed for sin, is carried by the high priest into the holiest, are burned without the camp.
12 Bunun kimi İsa da Öz qanı ilə xalqı təqdis etmək üçün şəhər darvazasının kənarında əzab çəkdi.
Wherefore, Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people by his own blood, suffered without the gate.
13 Buna görə Onun gördüyü təhqiri daşıyaraq düşərgənin kənarına çıxıb Onun yanına gedək.
Therefore, let us go forth to him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
14 Çünki burada daimi şəhərimiz yoxdur, amma biz gələcək şəhəri axtarırıq.
For here we have no abiding city, but we seek one to come.
15 Onda İsa vasitəsilə həmişə Allaha həmd qurbanını, yəni Onun adını iqrar edənlərin dilinin bəhrəsi olan sözləri təqdim edək.
Through him, therefore, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to his name.
16 Xeyirxahlıq etməyi və varınızı başqaları ilə bölüşməyi unutmayın, çünki Allah bu cür qurbanlardan razı qalır.
But forget not to do good, and to be liberal: for with such, sacrifices God is well pleased.
17 Öz rəhbərlərinizə itaətli olun və onlara tabe olun. Axı onlar hər vaxt həyatınız üçün qayğı çəkir, çünki hesabat verəcəklər. Qoy onlar bunu sevinclə etsinlər, ah-zarla etməsinlər, çünki bu sizə fayda verməz.
Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive: for they watch for your souls, as those who must give an account; that they may do this with joy, and not with grief: for that would be fatal to you.
18 Bizim üçün dua edin. Biz əminik ki, vicdanımız təmizdir və hər cəhətcə yaxşı həyat tərzi sürməyə can atırıq.
Pray for us: for we trust that we have a good conscience, willing to live honorably in all things.
19 Yanınıza tez qayıtmağım üçün dua etmənizi xüsusilə xahiş edirəm.
And I the more earnestly entreat you to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
20 Sülh qaynağı olan Allah – qoyunların böyük Çobanı olan Rəbbimiz İsanı əbədi Əhdin qanı ilə ölülər arasından dirildən Allah (aiōnios g166)
Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus Christ, the great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the eternal covenant, (aiōnios g166)
21 sizi hər cür yaxşı şeylə təmin etsin ki, İsa Məsih vasitəsilə Özünə xoş olanı bizdə icra etsin və siz Onun iradəsini həyata keçirəsiniz. İsa Məsihə əbədi izzət olsun! Amin. (aiōn g165)
perfect you in every good work, in order that you may do his will, working in you that which is acceptable in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory from age to age. Amen. (aiōn g165)
22 Qardaşlar, sizdən xahiş edirəm, bu öyüd-nəsihət sözünü dözümlə qəbul edin, çünki sizə qısaca yazdım.
I beseech you, brethren, bear with my word of exhortation: for I have written to you in few words.
23 Xəbəriniz olsun ki, qardaşımız Timotey azadlığa buraxılmışdır. Əgər tezliklə yanıma gələrsə, onunla birlikdə sizi görəcəyəm.
Know that our brother Timothy is set at liberty, with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.
24 Bütün rəhbərlərinizi və müqəddəslərin hamısını salamlayın. İtaliyadan olanlar sizə salam göndərirlər.
Salute all your rulers, and all the saints. The saints of Italy salute you.
