To the Thessalonian church in union with God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, From Paul, Silas, and Timothy.

2 Atamız Allahdan və Rəbb İsa Məsihdən sizə lütf və sülh olsun!

May God, the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and give you peace.

3 Qardaşlar, sizin üçün həmişə Allaha şükür etməliyik və belə etməyimiz yerinə düşər, çünki imanınız artdıqca artır və hamınızın bir-birinizə olan məhəbbəti çoxalır.

Friends, it is our duty always to thank God about you, as is but right, considering the wonderful growth of your faith, and because, without exception, your love for one another is continually increasing.

4 Bunun üçün tab gətirdiyiniz bütün təqiblərə, əziyyətlər zamanı dözümünüzə və imanınıza görə Allahın cəmiyyətlərində sizinlə özümüz də fəxr edirik.

So much is this the case that we ourselves speak with pride, before the churches of God, of the patience and faith which you have shown, in spite of all the persecutions and troubles that you are enduring.

5 Bu şeylər Allahın ədalətli hökmünün əlamətidir ki, nəticədə uğrunda indi əzab çəkdiyiniz Allahın Padşahlığına layiq sayılasınız.

These persecutions will vindicate the justice of God’s judgment, and will result in your being reckoned worthy of God’s kingdom, for the sake of which you are now suffering;

6 Çünki Allahın hüzurunda haqq olan işdir ki, sizə əziyyət verənlərə əziyyət,

since God deems it just to inflict suffering on those who are now inflicting suffering on you,

7 əziyyət çəkən sizlərə isə bunun əvəzində bizimlə birlikdə rahatlıq veriləcək. Bu, Rəbb İsanın qüdrətli mələkləri ilə od-alov içərisində göydən zühur etdiyi zaman olacaq.

and to give relief to you who are suffering, as well as to us, at the appearing of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire.

8 O zaman Rəbbimiz İsa Allahı tanımayanlardan və Özü barədə olan Müjdəyə itaət etməyənlərdən qisas alacaq.

Then he will inflict punishment on those who refuse to know God, and on those who turn a deaf ear to the good news of Jesus, our Lord.

9 Onlara Rəbbin hüzurundan və qüdrətinin izzətindən məhrum qalıb əbədi olaraq məhv edilmə cəzası veriləcək. (aiōnios g166)

They will pay the penalty of unutterable ruin – banished from the presence of the Lord and from the glorious manifestation of his might, (aiōnios g166)

10 Bunlar Rəbbin Öz müqəddəsləri arasında izzət qazanmaq və bütün imanlıları heyrətə gətirmək üçün gəldiyi gün baş verəcək. Siz də belə imanlılardansınız, çünki etdiyimiz şəhadətə inandınız.

when he comes to be honoured in his people, and to be revered in all who have learned to believe in him (for you also believed our testimony) – as he will be on that day.

11 Buna görə sizin üçün daim dua edirik ki, Allahımız sizi Öz çağırışına layiq görsün, hər yaxşı niyyətinizi və imandan asılı hər əməlinizi Öz qüdrəti ilə yerinə yetirsin.

With this in view, our constant prayer for you is that our God may count you worthy of the call that you have received, and by his power make perfect your delight in all goodness and the efforts that have resulted from your faith.

12 Belə ki Allahımızın və Rəbb İsa Məsihin lütfünə görə Rəbbimiz İsanın adı sizdə izzət qazansın və siz də Onda izzət qazanasınız.

Then, in the loving kindness of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ, will the name of Jesus, our Lord, be honoured in you, and you in him.
