1 Peter 4
1 Beləliklə, Məsih cismən əzab çəkdiyinə görə siz də eyni düşüncələrlə silahlanın. Çünki cismən əzab çəkən günahdan vaz keçmişdir.
Christ therefore having suffered in the flesh, be you also armed with the same thought: for he that hath suffered in the flesh, hath ceased from sins:
2 Nəticədə cisimdə qalan vaxtını isə artıq bəşəri ehtiraslara görə deyil, Allahın iradəsinə görə yaşayır.
That now he may live the rest of his time in the flesh, not after the desires of men, but according to the will of God.
3 Siz keçmiş vaxtlarda imanlı olmayanların istəklərini yerinə yetirib həyatınızı əxlaqsızlıqla, ehtirasla, əyyaşlıqla, eyş-işrətlə, içib azğınlıq etməklə, iyrənc bütpərəstliklə keçirdiyiniz yetər!
For the time past is sufficient to have fulfilled the will of the Gentiles, for them who have walked in riotousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and unlawful worshipping of idols.
4 İmanlı olmayanlar onlarla birlikdə eyni cür pozğunluğa uymadığınıza görə təəccüb edir, sizə şər atırlar.
Wherein they think it strange, that you run not with them into the same confusion of riotousness, speaking evil of you.
5 Onlar diriləri və ölüləri mühakimə etməyə hazır olan Allaha cavab verəcəklər.
Who shall render account to him, who is ready to judge the living and the dead.
6 Çünki bu səbəbə görə Müjdə ölülərə də yayıldı ki, cismən onlar bütün insanlar kimi mühakimə olunduğu halda, ruhən Allah kimi yaşasınlar.
For, for this cause was the gospel preached also to the dead: that they might be judged indeed according to men, in the flesh; but may live according to God, in the Spirit.
7 Hər şeyin sonu yaxındır. Beləliklə, ağıllı-kamallı olun və dua etmək üçün ayıq durun.
But the end of all is at hand. Be prudent therefore, and watch in prayers.
8 Hər şeydən əvvəl, bir-birinizi can-dildən sevin, çünki «məhəbbət çox günahı örtər».
But before all things have a constant mutual charity among yourselves: for charity covereth a multitude of sins.
9 Şikayət etmədən bir-birinizə qonaqpərvərlik göstərin.
Using hospitality one towards another, without murmuring,
10 Hər kəs Allahın çoxcəhətli lütfünün yaxşı idarəçiləri kimi aldığı ənama görə bir-birinə xidmət etsin.
As every man hath received grace, ministering the same one to another: as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
11 Kim danışırsa, Allahın sözlərini danışan kimi danışsın. Kim xidmət edirsə, Allahın verdiyi qüvvətlə xidmət etsin. Beləcə Allah hər şeydə İsa Məsih vasitəsilə izzətlənəcək. İzzət və qüdrət əbədi olaraq İsa Məsihindir. Amin! (aiōn g165)
If any man speak, let him speak, as the words of God. If any man minister, let him do it, as of the power, which God administereth: that in all things God may be honoured through Jesus Christ: to whom is glory and empire for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
12 Sevimlilər, sizi sınamaq üçün aranızda baş verən odlu imtahana sanki başınıza gələn qəribə bir iş kimi təəccüb etməyin.
Dearly beloved, think not strange the burning heat which is to try you, as if some new thing happened to you;
13 Əksinə, Məsihin əzablarına nə qədər şərik olursunuzsa, o qədər sevinin ki, Onun izzətli zühurunda hədsiz sevinəsiniz.
But if you partake of the sufferings of Christ, rejoice that when his glory shall be revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
14 Məsihin adına görə təhqir olunsanız, siz nə bəxtiyarsınız! Çünki Allahın izzətli Ruhu üzərinizdə qalır.
If you be reproached for the name of Christ, you shall be blessed: for that which is of the honour, glory, and power of God, and that which is his Spirit, resteth upon you.
15 Lakin heç biriniz qatil, oğru ya başqa cür cinayətkar kimi yaxud başqalarının işinə qarışan şəxs kimi əzab çəkməsin.
But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or a railer, or a coveter of other men’s things.
16 Amma bir insan məsihçi kimi əzab çəkirsə, qoy bundan utanmasın, bu adı daşıyaraq Allahı izzətləndirsin.
But if as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name.
17 Çünki mühakimənin Allahın ev xalqından başlandığı vaxt gəlir. Əgər mühakimə əvvəl bizdən başlanarsa, Allahın Müjdəsinə itaət etməyənlərin sonu necə olacaq?
For the time is, that judgment should begin at the house of God. And if first at us, what shall be the end of them that believe not the gospel of God?
18 Əgər saleh belə, çətinliklə xilas olursa, bəs allahsız və günahkar necə olacaq?
And if the just man shall scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
19 Bunun üçün qoy Allahın iradəsinə görə əzab çəkənlər yaxşılıq edərək həyatlarını sadiq olan Yaradana həvalə etsinlər.
Wherefore let them also that suffer according to the will of God, commend their souls in good deeds to the faithful Creator.
