ৰোমীয়া 2
1 ১ হে লোকৰ সোধ-বিচাৰ কৰা মানুহ, এই কাৰণে অাপোনালোকক ক্ষমা কৰা নহব, কিয়নো যি কথাত আপোনালোকে লোকৰ সোধ-বিচাৰ কৰে, সেই কথাতে নিজক দোষী কৰি আছে; কাৰণ লোকৰ বিচাৰ কৰা যি আপোনালোক, আপোনালোকে নিজেও সেই একে আচৰণ কৰি আছে।
Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whoever thou art, that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest dost the same things.
But we know that the judgement of God is according to truth against those that do such things.
3 ৩ কিন্তু বিবেচনা কৰকচোন, আপোনালোক যি সকলে এনে আচৰণ কৰা সকলৰ বিচাৰ কৰি আছে, তাতে নিজেও একে কৰ্ম কৰি, ঈশ্বৰৰ দণ্ডাজ্ঞাৰ পৰা সাৰিম বুলি ভাবিছে নে?
And thinkest thou, O man, who judgest those that do such things, and dost the same, that thou shalt escape the judgement of God?
4 ৪ নে আপুনি তেওঁৰ স্নেহশীল অনুগ্ৰহ, ধৈৰ্য আৰু চিৰসহিষ্ণুতাৰূপ ধন হেয়জ্ঞান কৰিছে? যি ঈশ্বৰৰ অনুগ্ৰহে আপোনাক মন-পালটন কৰাৰ পথত লৈ যায়, সেই বিষয়ে আপুনি নাজানে নে?
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness, and forbearance, and long-suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
5 ৫ কিন্তু আপোনাৰ কঠিনতা আৰু খেদহীন হৃদয়ে, ন্যায়ৱান ঈশ্বৰৰ সোধ-বিচাৰ প্ৰকাশ হোৱা ক্ৰোধৰ সেই দিনলৈ নিজৰ বাবে ক্ৰোধ সাঁচিছে।
But by thy hardness and impenitence of heart thou art treasuring up to thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the just judgement of God,
who will render to every one according to his works:
7 ৭ যি সকলে সৎকৰ্মত ধৈৰ্য ধৰি মহিমা, সন্মান আৰু অক্ষয়তা বিচাৰে, তেওঁলোকক অনন্ত জীৱন দিব৷ (aiōnios g166)
to them, who by perseverance in well-doing seek for glory, and honor, and immortality, eternal life: (aiōnios g166)
but to those who are contentious, and obey not the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath.
9 ৯ তাতে সকলো মানুহৰ প্ৰাণৰ, প্ৰথমতে ইহুদী, পাছত গ্ৰীকলোকৰো, তেনে কুকৰ্ম সাধন কৰা সকলোৰে, ক্লেশ আৰু সঙ্কট ঘটিব৷
Tribulation and anguish shall be upon every soul of man that worketh evil, both of the Jew, and of the Gentile:
10 ১০ কিন্তু প্ৰথমে ইহুদী, পাছত গ্ৰীক লোকলৈ সৎকৰ্ম সাধন কৰা সকলো লোকলৈ গৌৰৱ, মৰ্যদা, আৰু শান্তি হ’ব;
but glory, and honor, and peace to every one that worketh good, both to the Jew, and to the Greek:
for there is no respect of persons with God.
12 ১২ সেয়েহে বিধান নাজানি যি সকলে পাপ কৰিলে, সেই সকলোৰে বিধান অবিহনে বিনাশ হ’ব আৰু একেদৰে যি সকলে বিধান জানিও পাপ কৰিলে, তেওঁলোকৰ বিধানৰ দ্ৱাৰাই সোধ-বিচাৰ হ’ব।
For as many as have sinned without the law shall also perish without the law; and as many as have sinned under the law shall be judged by the law;
13 ১৩ কিয়নো ঈশ্বৰৰ আগত বিধান শুনা সকল ধার্মিক নহয়, কিন্তু বিধান পালন কৰা সকলহে ধাৰ্মিক বুলি প্ৰমাণিত হ’ব;
(for not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified:
14 ১৪ কাৰণ যেতিয়া বিধানহীন অনা-ইহুদী সকলে স্বভাৱতে বিধানৰ কৰ্ম কৰে, তেতিয়া সেই বিধানহীন সকলৰ বিধান তেওঁলোকেই হয়।
for when the Gentiles, who have not the law, do by nature the duties of the law, these though they have not the law, are a law to themselves,
15 ১৫ এনেদৰে তেওঁলোকে বিধানৰ যি প্ৰয়োজনীয় কৰ্ম নিজ নিজ হৃদয়ত লিখা থকা দেখুৱাইছে; আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ বিবেকেও সেই বিষয়ে সাক্ষ্য দি তেওঁলোকৰ মনৰ ভাৱেৰে নিজকে হয়তো অভিযুক্ত বা সমর্থন কৰে,
and shew the work of the law written on their hearts, their conscience witnessing together with it, and their own thoughts either accusing, or excusing them, )
16 ১৬ আৰু যিদিনা মোৰ শুভবাৰ্তাৰ দৰে ঈশ্বৰে খ্ৰীষ্ট যীচুৰ দ্বাৰাই লোক সকলৰ গুপুত বিষয়ৰ সোধ-বিচাৰ কৰিব, সেইদিনা এনে ঘটিব৷
in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.
Behold thou art called a Jew, and restest on the law, and boastest in God,
and knowest his will, and approvest things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law,
and art persuaded that thou art a guide of the blind,
a light to them that are in the darkness, an instructor of the simple, a teacher of babes, having the form of the knowledge and of the truth which is in the law.
21 ২১ তেনেহলে হে লোকক শিক্ষা দিওঁতা, অাপুনি নিজকে শিক্ষা নিদিয়ে নে? হে চুৰ নকৰিবলৈ ঘোষণা কৰা জন, আপুনি চুৰ নকৰে নে?
Thou then, who teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? Thou, that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
22 ২২ হে ব্যভিচাৰ নকৰিবলৈ কোৱা জন, আপুনি ব্যভিচাৰ নকৰে নে? হে মূৰ্তিপূজাবোৰক ঘিণ কৰা জন, মন্দিৰবোৰৰ পৰা আপুনি লুট নকৰে নে?
Thou, that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? Thou, that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
Thou, that boastest in the law, dost thou by transgression of the law dishonour God?
for through you the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles, as it is written.
25 ২৫ কাৰণ আপুনি যদি বিধান পালন কৰে, তেনেহলে প্ৰকৃততে আপোনাৰ চুন্নতৰ লাভ হয়; কিন্তু আপুনি যদি বিধান-উলঙ্ঘনকাৰী হয়, তেনেহলে আপুনি চুন্নৎ নোহোৱাৰ সমান হ’ল।
For circumcision indeed is profitable, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a transgressor of the law, thy circumcision is become uncircumcision.
26 ২৬ এতেকে চুন্নৎ নোহোৱা জনে যদি বিধানৰ বিধিবোৰ পালন কৰে, তেনেহলে অচুন্নৎ জনো চুন্নৎ বুলি গণিত নহ’ব নে?
Therefore if the uncircumcised keep the righteous precepts of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be accounted to him for circumcision?
27 ২৭ আৰু বিধান পালনকাৰী স্বাভাৱিক অচুন্নৎ জনে, চুন্নৎ হয়ো বিধান উলঙ্ঘন কৰা যি আপুনি, অাপোনাৰ সোধ-বিচাৰ শাস্ত্ৰ অনুসাৰে তেওঁ নকৰিব নে?
and shall not the uncircumcision that is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision art a transgressor of the law? for he is not a Jew, who is only so in appearance;
28 ২৮ কিয়নো মাত্ৰ বাহ্যিকভাৱে ইহুদী হলেই প্ৰকৃত ইহুদী হব নোৱাৰি আৰু মাংসত কৰা যি বাহিৰৰ চুন্নৎ সেই জনো চুন্নৎ নহয়;
nor is that circumcision, which is only in appearance, in the flesh;
29 ২৯ কিন্তু যি জন ভিতৰে ইহুদী, তেওঁহে ইহুদী হয়; আৰু আখৰেৰে নহয়, কিন্তু আত্মাৰে, হৃদয়ৰ যি চুন্নৎ, সেয়েহে চুন্নৎ; তেওঁৰ প্ৰশংসা মানুহৰ পৰা নহয় কিন্তু ঈশ্বৰৰ পৰাহে হয়।
but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart in the spirit, not in the letter: whose praise is not from men, but from God.
