Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent.
The foolish ones took their lamps, but took no oil with them;
while the prudent ones, besides taking their lamps, took oil in their jars.
As the bridegroom was late in coming, they all became drowsy, and slept.
But at midnight a shout was raised — ‘The bridegroom is coming! Come out to meet him!’
Then all the bridesmaids awoke and trimmed their lamps.
8 ৮ এনেতে নিৰ্ব্বুদ্ধি কেইজনীয়ে সুবুদ্ধি কেইজনীক ক’লে, তোমালোকৰ পৰা অলপ মান তেল আমাক দিয়া; কিয়নো আমাৰ চাকি নুমাওঁ নুমাওঁ হৈছে।
And the foolish said to the prudent ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’
9 ৯ কিন্তু সুবুদ্ধি কেইজনীয়ে উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, ‘কিজানি তোমালোকক দিলে আমালৈ নুজুৰিব; তাতকৈ তেল-বেচোঁতাৰ ওচৰলৈ গৈ, তোমালোকৰ কাৰণে কিনি আনাগৈ’।
But the prudent ones answered ‘No, for fear that there will not be enough for you and for us. Go instead to those who sell it, and buy for yourselves.’
10 ১০ কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে কিনিবলৈ যাওঁতেই, দৰা আহিল আৰু সাজু হৈ থকা কেইগৰাকীয়ে তেওঁৰ লগত বিয়াৰ ভোজলৈ গ’ল আৰু দুৱাৰ বন্ধ কৰা হ’ল৷
But while they were on their way to buy it, the bridegroom came; and the bridesmaids who were ready went in with him to the banquet, and the door was shut.
Afterwards the other bridesmaids came. ‘Sir, Sir,’ they said, ‘open the door to us!’
But the bridegroom answered ‘I tell you, I do not know you.’
Therefore watch, since you know neither the Day nor the Hour.
14 ১৪ কিয়নো স্বৰ্গৰাজ্য এনে এজন মানুহৰ নিচিনা, যি নিজৰ দাসবোৰক মাতি আনি নিজ সম্পত্তি সিহঁতৰ হাতত শোধাই দি দূৰ দেশলৈ যায়।
For it is as though a man, going on his travels, called his servants, and gave his property into their charge.
15 ১৫ তেওঁ এজনক পাঁচ গাগৰি, এজনক দুই গাগৰি, এজনক এক গাগৰি, এইদৰে প্ৰতিজনক যোগ্যতা অনুসাৰে ধন দি যাত্ৰা কৰিলে।
He gave three thousand pounds to one, twelve hundred to another, and six hundred to a third, in proportion to the ability of each. Then he set out on his travels.
The man who had received the three thousand pounds went at once and traded with it, and made another three thousand.
So, too, the man who had received the twelve hundred pounds made another twelve hundred.
But the man who had received the six hundred went and dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master’s money.
After a long time the master of those servants returned, and settled accounts with them.
20 ২০ তেতিয়া যি জনে পাঁচ গাগৰি পাইছিল, সি আকৌ পাঁচ গাগৰি আনি ক’লে, ‘হে প্ৰভু আপুনি মোক পাঁচ গাগৰি গতাই দিছিল; চাওক মই পুনৰ পাঁচ গাগৰি লাভ কৰিলোঁ’।
The man who had received the three thousand pounds came up and brought three thousand more. ‘Sir,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with three thousand pounds; look, I have made another three thousand!’
21 ২১ প্ৰভুৱে তেওঁক ক’লে, ‘চাবাইচ উত্তম বিশ্বাসী দাস! অলপ বিষয়তে তুমি বিশ্বাসী আছিলা, তোমাক বহু বিষয়ত গৰাকী পাতিম৷ তুমি তোমাৰ প্ৰভুৰ আনন্দৰ ভাগী হোৱা৷’
‘Well done, good, trustworthy servant!’ said his master. ‘You have been trustworthy with a small sum; now I will place a large one in your hands; come and share your master’s joy!’
22 ২২ পাছত যি জনে দুই গাগৰি পাইছিল, তেওঁ আহি ক’লে, ‘হে প্ৰভু, আপুনি মোক দুই গাগৰি গতাই দিছিল; চাওক মই আৰু দুই গাগৰি লাভ কৰিলোঁ’।
Then the one who had received the twelve hundred pounds came up and said ‘Sir, you entrusted me with twelve hundred pounds; look, I have made another twelve hundred!’
23 ২৩ তেতিয়া প্ৰভুৱে তেওঁক ক’লে, ‘চাবাইচ উত্তম বিশ্বাসী দাস, তুমি অলপ বিষয়তে বিশ্বাসী আছিলা, তোমাক অনেক বিষয়ৰ গৰাকী পাতিম৷ তুমি তোমাৰ প্ৰভুৰ আনন্দৰ ভাগী হোৱা’।
‘Well done, good, trustworthy servant!’ said his master. ‘You have been trustworthy with a small sum; now I will place a large one in your hands; come and share your master’s joy!’
24 ২৪ পাছত যি জনে এক গাগৰি পাইছিল, তেওঁ আহি ক’লে, ‘হে প্ৰভু, আপুনি কঠিন মানুহ, ইয়াক মই জানিছিলোঁ; আপুনি যি ঠাইত বোৱা নাই তাতে দায় আৰু যি ঠাইত সিঁচা নাই তাতে চপায়;
The man who had received the six hundred pounds came up, too, and said ‘Sir, I knew that you were a hard man; you reap where you have not sown, and gather up where you have not winnowed;
25 ২৫ সেয়েহে ভয় লাগি, মই গৈ আপোনাৰ ধনৰ গাগৰি মাটিত লুকাই থৈছিলোঁ৷ চাওক, আপুনি যি দিছিল সেয়া ঘূৰাই পাইছে’।
and, in my fear, I went and hid your money in the ground; look, here is what belongs to you!’
26 ২৬ কিন্তু তেওঁৰ প্ৰভুৱে উত্তৰ দি তেওঁক ক’লে, ‘হেৰ দুষ্ট আৰু এলেহুৱা দাস, মই যি ঠাইত নবওঁ তাতে দাওঁ আৰু যি ঠাইত নিসিচোঁ তাতে চপাঁও, ইয়াকে যদি তুমি জানিছিলা;
‘You lazy, worthless servant!’ was his master’s reply. ‘You knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather up where I have not winnowed?
Then you ought to have placed my money in the hands of bankers, and I, on my return, should have received my money, with interest.
‘Therefore,’ he continued, ‘take away from him the six hundred pounds, and give it to the one who has the six thousand.
29 ২৯ কিয়নো যাৰ আছে, তেওঁকেই দিয়া হব, তাতে তেওঁৰ অধিক হ’ব; কিন্তু যাৰ নাই, তেওঁৰ যি আছে, সেয়া তেওঁৰ পৰা নিয়া হ’ব।
For, to him who has, more will be given, and he shall have abundance; but, as for him who has nothing, even what he has will be taken away from him.
As for the useless servant, ‘put him out into the darkness’ outside, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.’
31 ৩১ “যেতিয়া মানুহৰ পুত্ৰ সকলো দূতক লগত লৈ নিজৰ প্ৰতাপেৰে আহিব, তেতিয়া তেওঁ নিজৰ প্ৰতাপৰ সিংহাসনত বহিব৷
When the Son of Man has come in his glory and all the angels with him, then he ‘will take his seat on his throne of glory’;
32 ৩২ সকলো জাতিৰ মানুহক তেওঁৰ আগলৈ গোটাই অনা হ’ব আৰু ৰখীয়াই যেনেকৈ ছাগলীৰ পৰা মেৰবোৰকপৃথক কৰে, তেনেকৈ তেওঁ তেওঁলোকৰ এজনৰ পৰা আন জনক পৃথক কৰি,
and all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people — just as a shepherd separates sheep from goats —
placing the sheep on his right hand, and the goats on his left.
34 ৩৪ তেতিয়া ৰজাই তেওঁৰ সোঁফালে থকা সকলক ক’ব, ‘আহা, মোৰ পিতৃৰ আশীৰ্বাদ পোৱা সকল, জগত স্থাপন কৰাৰে পৰা তোমালোকৰ কাৰণে যুগুত কৰি থোৱা ৰাজ্যৰ অধিকাৰী হোৱা।
Then the King will say to those on his right ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, enter upon possession of the Kingdom prepared for you ever since the beginning of the world.
35 ৩৫ কিয়নো মোৰ ভোক লাগিছিল, তাতে তোমালোকে মোক খাবলৈ দিছিলা; মোৰ পিয়াহ লাগিছিল, মোক পান কৰিবলৈ দিছিলা; অতিথি হৈছিলোঁ, মোক আশ্ৰয় দিছিলা:
For, when I was hungry, you gave me food; when I was thirsty, you gave me drink; when I was a stranger, you took me to your homes;
36 ৩৬ উদঙে আছিলোঁ, মোক কাপোৰ পিন্ধাইছিলা; নৰিয়া পৰিছিলোঁ, মোক চাবলৈ গৈছিলা; আৰু বন্দীশালত আছিলোঁ, তাতো মোৰ ওচৰলৈ গৈছিলা’।
when I was naked, you clothed me; when I fell ill, you visited me; and when I was in prison, you came to me.’
37 ৩৭ তেতিয়া ধাৰ্মিক সকলে তেওঁক উত্তৰ দি ক’ব, ‘হে প্ৰভু আমি কেতিয়া আপোনাৰ ভোক লগা দেখি, খাবলৈ দিছিলোঁ? পিয়াহ লাগোতে পান কৰাইছিলো?
Then the Righteous will answer ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you? Or thirsty, and give you a drink?
38 ৩৮ আমি কেতিয়া আপোনাক অচিন-অতিথি হোৱা দেখি আশ্ৰয় দিছিলোঁ? নাইবা উদঙে থকা দেখি, কাপোৰ পিন্ধাইছিলো?
When did we see you a stranger, and take you to our homes? Or naked, and clothe you?
When did we see you ill, or in prison, and come to you?’
40 ৪০ তেতিয়া ৰজাই উত্তৰ দি তেওঁলোকক ক’ব, ‘মই তোমালোকক সঁচাকৈ কওঁ, মোৰ ভাইবোৰৰ মাজত সৰু এটিলৈকো যি কৰিছিলা, সেয়া মোলৈহে কৰিছিলা’।
And the King will reply ‘I tell you, as often as you did it to one of these my Brothers, however lowly, you did it to me.’
41 ৪১ তেতিয়া তেওঁৰ বাওঁফালে থকাবোৰক কব, ‘হেৰ মোৰ পৰা আতৰি থকা সকল, চয়তান আৰু তাৰ দূতবোৰৰ কাৰণে যুগুত কৰি থোৱা অনন্ত জুইলৈ তোমালোক গুচি যোৱা। (aiōnios g166)
Then he will say to those on his left ‘Go from my presence, accursed, into the ‘aeonian fire which has been prepared for the Devil and his angels.’ (aiōnios g166)
For, when I was hungry, you gave me no food; when I was thirsty, you gave me no drink;
43 ৪৩ অতিথি হৈছিলো, মোক আশ্ৰয় নিদিলা; উদঙে আছিলোঁ, মোক কাপোৰ নিপিন্ধালা; নৰিয়া আৰু বন্দীশালত পৰিছিলোঁ; মোক চাবলৈ নগ’লা’।
when I was a stranger, you did not take me to your homes; when I was naked, you did not clothe me; and, when I was ill and in prison, you did not visit me.’
44 ৪৪ তেতিয়া সিহঁতে উত্তৰ দি ক’ব, ‘হে ‘প্ৰভু, আমি নো কেতিয়া আপোনাক ভোক বা পিয়াহ লগা, অতিথি হোৱা, উদঙে থকা, নৰিয়াত পৰা, বন্দীশালত থকা দেখি আপোনাৰ সেৱা শুশ্ৰূষা কৰা নাছিলো’?
Then they, in their turn, will answer ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or ill, or in prison, and did not supply your wants?’
45 ৪৫ তেতিয়া যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক উত্তৰ দি ক’ব, ‘মই তোমালোকক সঁচাকৈ কওঁ, এইবোৰৰ সৰু এটিলৈকো যি নকৰিলা, সেয়া মোলৈহে নকৰিলা’।
And then he will reply ‘I tell you, as often as you failed to do it to one of these, however lowly, you failed to do it to me.’
