1 ১ যীচুৱে তেওঁৰ বাৰ জন শিষ্যক একেলগে ওচৰলৈ মাতি তেওঁলোকক অশুচি আত্মাক খেদাবলৈ আৰু সকলো ধৰণৰ ৰোগ-ব্যাধি আৰু অসুস্থ জনক সুস্থ কৰিবলৈ অধিকাৰ দিলে।
Calling his twelve Disciples to him, Jesus gave them authority over foul spirits, so that they could drive them out, as well as the power of curing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.
2 ২ সেই বাৰ জন পাঁচনিৰ নাম এই, প্ৰথম চিমোন, যি জনক পিতৰো বোলে আৰু তেওঁৰ ভায়েক আন্দ্ৰিয়, চিবদিয়ৰ পুতেক যাকোব আৰু তেওঁৰ ভায়েক যোহন,
The names of the twelve Apostles are these: First Simon, also known as Peter, and his brother Andrew; James the son of Zebediah, and his brother John;
Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax-gather; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;
Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot — the Apostle who betrayed him.
5 ৫ এই বাৰ জনক যীচুৱে এই আদেশ দি পঠালে, “তোমালোকে অনা-ইহুদী সকলৰ কোনো ঠাইলৈ নাযাবা আৰু চমৰীয়া সকলৰ কোনো নগৰত নোসোমাবা।
These twelve Jesus sent out as his Messengers, after giving them these instructions — “Do not go to the Gentiles, nor enter any Samaritan town,
but make your way rather to the lost sheep of Israel.
And on your way proclaim that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
8 ৮ অসুস্থ লোকক সুস্থ কৰিবা, মৃত লোকক তুলিবা, কুষ্ঠ ৰোগী সকলক শুচি কৰিবা, ভূতক খেদাবা। তোমালোকে বিনামূল্যে পাইছা, বিনামূল্যেই দিবা।
Cure the sick, raise the dead, make the lepers clean, drive out demons. You have received free of cost, give free of cost.
Do not provide yourselves with gold, or silver, or pence in your purses;
10 ১০ বাটত যোৱাৰ কাৰণে কোনো জোলোঙা, দুটা চোলা, পাদুকা বা লাখুটি এইবোৰও নলবা; কিয়নো বনুৱা নিজৰ পাৰিশ্রমিক পোৱাৰ যোগ্য।
not even with a bag for the journey, or a change of clothes, or sandals, or even a staff; for the worker is worth his food.
11 ১১ তোমালোকে যেতিয়া কোনো নগৰ বা গাৱঁত সোমাবা, তাত এজন উপযুক্ত মানুহ বিচাৰি ল’বা আৰু আন ঠাইলৈ নোযোৱা পর্যন্ত সেই ঘৰতে থাকিবা।
Whatever town or village you visit, find out who is worthy in that place, and remain there till you leave.
As you enter the house, greet it.
13 ১৩ সেই ঘৰ যদি উপযুক্ত হয়, তেনেহলে তোমালোকৰ শান্তি সেই ঘৰৰ ওপৰলৈ নামি আহক; কিন্তু সেই ঘৰ যদি উপযুক্ত নহয়, তেনেহলে তোমালোকৰ শান্তি তোমালোকৰ ওচৰলৈ উলটি আহক।
Then, if the house is worthy, let your blessing rest upon it, but, if it is unworthy, let your blessing return upon yourselves.
14 ১৪ যদি কোনোৱে তোমালোকক গ্রহণ নকৰে বা তোমালোকৰ কথাও নুশুনে, তেনেহলে সেই ঘৰ বা নগৰৰ পৰা ওলাই যাওঁতে তোমালোকৰ ভৰিৰ ধূলি জোকাৰি পেলাবা।
If no one welcomes you, or listens to what you say, as you leave that house or that town, shake off its dust from your feet.
15 ১৫ মই তোমালোকক সঁচাকৈ কওঁ, মহা-বিচাৰৰ দিনা সেই নগৰতকৈ বৰং চদোম আৰু ঘমোৰা নগৰৰ দশা অধিক সহিব পৰা হ’ব।”
I tell you, the doom of the land of Sodom and Gomorrah will be more bearable in the ‘Day of Judgment’ than the doom of that town.
16 ১৬ শুনা! মই ৰাংকুকুৰবোৰৰ মাজলৈ তোমালোকক মেৰ-পোৱালিৰনিচিনাকৈ পঠিয়াইছো; এই হেতুকে তোমালোক সাপৰ দৰে টেঙৰ আৰু কপৌৰ নিচিনা অমায়িক হোৱা।
Remember, I am sending you out as my Messengers like sheep among wolves. So be as wise as serpents, and as blameless as doves.
17 ১৭ সতর্কভাৱে চলিবা; কিয়নো লোক সকলে তোমালোকক বিচাৰ সভাত শোধাই দিব আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ নাম-ঘৰবোৰত তোমালোকক কোবাব।
Be on your guard against your fellow men, for they will betray you to courts of law, and scourge you in their Synagogues;
18 ১৮ মোৰ কাৰণেই তোমালোকক ৰাজ্যপাল আৰু ৰজা সকলৰ সন্মুখলৈ লৈ যোৱা হ’বা, যাতে তোমালোকে তাত তেওঁলোকৰ আৰু অনা-ইহুদী সকলৰ ওচৰত সাক্ষ্য দিব পাৰা।
and you will be brought before governors and kings for my sake, that you may witness for me before them and the nations.
19 ১৯ লোক সকলে যেতিয়া তোমালোকক শোধাই দিব, তেতিয়া কেনেকৈ, কি কথা ক’ব লাগে, সেই বিষয় লৈ চিন্তা নকৰিবা; কিয়নো তেতিয়া যি কথা ক’ব লাগে, সেই বিষয়বোৰ সেই মুহূৰ্ত্ততে তোমালোকক দিয়া হ’ব।
Whenever they betray you, do not be anxious as to how you shall speak or what you shall say, for what you shall say will be given you at the moment;
for it will not be you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father that speaks within you.
21 ২১ ককায়েকে ভায়েকক আৰু বাপেকে পুতেকক মৃত্যুদণ্ডলৈ শোধাই দিব। সন্তান সকলে মাক-বাপেকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে উঠি তেওঁলোকক মৃত্যুৰ মুখলৈ ঠেলি দিব।
Brother will betray brother to death, and the father his child; and children will turn against their parents, and cause them to be put to death;
22 ২২ মোৰ নামৰ কাৰণে, তোমালোক সকলোৰে ঘৃণাৰ পাত্ৰ হ’বা; কিন্তু যি জনে শেষলৈকে সহি থাকে, সেই জনেই পৰিত্ৰাণ পাব।
and you will be hated by every one on account of my Name. Yet the man that endures to the end shall be saved.
23 ২৩ যেতিয়া কোনো নগৰৰ লোকে তোমালোকক তাড়না কৰে, তেতিয়া আন এখন নগৰলৈ পলাই যাবা; মই তোমালোকক সঁচাকৈ কৈছোঁ, ইস্ৰায়েল দেশৰ সকলো নগৰলৈ তোমালোকে গৈ শেষ কৰাৰ আগেয়ে মানুহৰ পুত্ৰ আহিব।
But, when they persecute you in one town, escape to the next; for, I tell you, you will not have come to the end of the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
A scholar is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.
25 ২৫ শিষ্য যদি গুৰুৰ দৰে আৰু দাস যদি নিজৰ প্ৰভুৰ দৰে হ’ব পাৰে, সেয়ে যথেষ্ট। ঘৰৰ গৰাকীকে যেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে বেলচবূব বুলিলে, তেনেহলে তেওঁৰ পৰিয়ালৰ আন সকলোকে কিমান অধিক বুলিব!
It is enough for a scholar to be treated like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If the head of the house has been called Baal-zebub, how much more the members of his household!
26 ২৬ গতিকে তোমালোকে তেওঁলোকলৈ ভয় নকৰিবা; কিয়নো লুকুৱাই ৰখা সকলো বিষয়েই প্রকাশ পাব আৰু গোপনে ৰখা সকলো বিষয়েই জনোৱা হ’ব।
Do not, therefore, be afraid of them. There is nothing concealed which will not be revealed, nor anything hidden which will not become known.
27 ২৭ মই তোমালোকক আন্ধাৰত যি কওঁ, সেইবোৰ তোমালোকে পোহৰত প্ৰকাশ কৰিবা আৰু তোমালোকে কাণেৰে যি শুনিছা, সেইবোৰ ঘৰৰ ওপৰত উঠি ঘোষণা কৰিবা।
What I tell you in the dark, say again in the light; and what is whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops.
28 ২৮ যি সকলে কেৱল শৰীৰকহে বধ কৰে, কিন্তু আত্মাক বধ কৰিব নোৱাৰে, তেওঁলোকলৈ ভয় নকৰিবা; কিন্তু যি জনে আত্মা আৰু শৰীৰ, এই দুয়োকো নৰকত নষ্ট কৰিব পাৰে, তেওঁকেহে ভয় কৰিবা। (Geenna g1067)
And do not be afraid of those who kill the body, but are unable to kill the soul; rather be afraid of him who is able to destroy both soul and body in the Pit. (Geenna g1067)
29 ২৯ দুটা ঘৰ-চিৰিকা ক্ষুদ্র পইচালৈ নেবেচে নে? তথাপি তোমালোকৰ পিতৃৰ অনুমতি অবিহনে সেইবোৰৰ এটিও মাটিত নপৰে।
Are not two sparrows sold for a half-penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s knowledge.
While as for you, the very hairs of your head are numbered.
Do not, therefore, be afraid; you are of more value than many sparrows.
32 ৩২ এতেকে যি কোনোৱে মানুহৰ আগত মোক স্বীকাৰ কৰে, ময়ো স্বৰ্গত থকা মোৰ পিতৃৰ আগত তেওঁক স্বীকাৰ কৰিম;
Every one, therefore, who shall acknowledge me before his fellow men, I, too, will acknowledge before my Father who is in Heaven;
33 ৩৩ কিন্তু মানুহৰ আগত যি কোনোৱে মোক অস্বীকাৰ কৰে, স্বৰ্গত থকা মোৰ পিতৃৰ আগত ময়ো তেওঁক অস্বীকাৰ কৰিম।
but, if any one disowns me before his fellow men, I, too, will disown him before my Father who is in Heaven.
34 ৩৪ মই পৃথিৱীত শান্তি দিবলৈ আহিলোঁ বুলি নাভাবিবা; শান্তি দিবলৈ নহয়, কিন্তু তৰোৱাল দিবলৈহে আহিলোঁ।
Do not imagine that I have come to bring peace upon the earth. I have come to bring, not peace, but the sword.
35 ৩৫ বাপেকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে পুতেকৰ, মাকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে জীয়েকৰ, শাহুৱেকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে বোৱাৰীয়েকৰ ভেদ জন্মাবলৈহে আহিলোঁ;
For I have come to set — ‘a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
A man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’
37 ৩৭ যি কোনোৱে মোতকৈয়ো নিজৰ পিতৃ বা মাতৃক অধিক প্ৰেম কৰে, তেওঁ মোৰ উপযুক্ত নহয়; আৰু যি কোনোৱে মোতকৈ নিজৰ পুতেক বা জীয়েকক অধিক প্রেম কৰে, তেওঁ মোৰ উপযুক্ত নহয়।
He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
And the man who does not take his cross and follow in my steps is not worthy of me.
39 ৩৯ যি কোনোৱে নিজৰ জীৱন ৰক্ষা কৰিব বিচাৰে, তেওঁ জীৱন হেৰুৱাব; আৰু যি কোনোৱে মোৰ কাৰণে নিজৰ জীৱন উৎসর্গ কৰে, তেওঁ জীৱন পাব।
He who has found his life will lose it, while he who, for my sake, has lost his life shall find it.
40 ৪০ যি কোনোৱে তোমালোকক গ্ৰহণ কৰে; তেওঁ মোকে গ্ৰহণ কৰে আৰু যি কোনোৱে মোক গ্ৰহণ কৰে, তেওঁ মোক পঠোৱা জনকেই গ্ৰহণ কৰে।
He who welcomes you is welcoming me; and he who welcomes me is welcoming him who sent me as his Messenger.
41 ৪১ এজন ভাৱবাদীক যদি কোনোৱে ভাৱবাদী বুলি গ্ৰহণ কৰে, তেওঁ ভাববাদীৰ পুৰস্কাৰ পাব আৰু এজন ধাৰ্মিকক যদি কোনোৱে ধাৰ্মিক বুলি গ্ৰহণ কৰে, তেওঁ ধাৰ্মিকৰ পুৰস্কাৰ পাব।
He who welcomes a Prophet, because he is a Prophet, shall receive a Prophet’s reward; and he who welcomes a good man, because he is a good man, shall receive a good man’s reward.
42 ৪২ যি কোনোৱে এই সাধাৰণ লোক সকলৰ মাজৰ এজনক মোৰ শিষ্য বুলি এবাটি চেঁচা পানী মাথোন খুৱায়, মই তোমালোকক সঁচাকৈ কওঁ, তেওঁ কোনোমতেই নিজৰ পুৰস্কাৰ নেহেৰুৱাব।
And, if any one gives but a cup of cold water to one of these lowly ones because he is a disciple, I tell you that he shall assuredly not lose his reward.”
