লূক 16
1 ১ যীচুৱে শিষ্য সকলক ক’লে, “এজন ধনী মানুহৰ এজন ঘৰগিৰীআছিল, এই ঘৰগিৰীয়ে ধনী মানুহ জনৰ সম্পদ নষ্ট কৰিছে বুলি অভিযোগ আনিলে৷
And He said also to his disciples, There was a certain rich man, who had a steward; and he was accused to him of wasting his goods.
2 ২ তেতিয়া সেই ধনী ব্যক্তি জনে ঘৰগিৰী দায়িত্বত থকা ব্যক্তি জনক মাতি ক’লে, ‘এইবোৰ তোমাৰ বিষয়ে মই কি শুনিছো? তোমাৰ কামৰ হিচাব মোক দিয়া, তুমি আৰু মোৰ ঘৰগিৰী দায়িত্বত থাকিব নোৱাৰা৷’
And he called him, and said unto him, What is this I hear of thee? give up the accounts of thy stewardship, for thou canst be no longer steward.
3 ৩ তেতিয়া সেই ঘৰগিৰী দায়িত্বত থকা ব্যক্তি জনে মনতে ভাবিলে, ‘এতিয়া মই কি কৰিম, যদি মোক এই কর্মৰ পৰা অাতৰাই দিয়ে, মই দিন হাজিৰা কৰি খাবলৈ মোৰ শক্তি নাই আৰু ভিক্ষা কৰিবলৈও মোৰ লাজ লাগে৷
And the steward said in himself, What shall I do? now my master takes away the stewardship from me; I am not able to work, and I am ashamed to beg.
4 ৪ মোক ঘৰগিৰী দায়িত্বৰ পৰা অাতৰালেও লোক সকলে যাতে তেওঁলোকৰ ঘৰলৈ মোক নিমন্ত্ৰণ কৰে, সেই কাৰণে কি কৰিব লাগিব তাক মই জানিছোঁ৷’
I know what I will do, that when I am turned out of my place, they may receive me into their houses.
5 ৫ তাৰ পাছত তেওঁ ধনী মানুহ জনৰ প্ৰতিজন ধৰুৱাক মাতিলে আৰু তেওঁ প্ৰথম জনক সুধিলে, ‘আমাৰ গৰাকীক কিমান ঋণ পৰিশোধ কৰিবলৈ আছে?’
So he called his master's debtors to him, and said to the first, How much owest thou to my master? and he said, an hundred baths of oil.
6 ৬ তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘এশ মোন তেল৷’ ঘৰগিৰীয়ে তেওঁক ক’লে, ‘তোমাৰ তালিকা পত্ৰ খন লোৱা আৰু ইয়াতে সোনকালে পঞ্চাশ লিখা৷’
And he said to him, Take thy bill, and sit down and write but fifty.
7 ৭ তাৰ পাছত আন জনক সুধিলে, ‘তোমাৰ কিমান দিবলগীয়া ঋণ আছে?’ তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘এশ মোন ঘেহুঁ৷’ তেতিয়া তেওঁক ক’লে, ‘তোমাৰ তালিকা পত্ৰ খন লোৱা আৰু আশী লিখা৷’
Then he said to another, And how much owest thou? and he said, an hundred measures of wheat: and he said to him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore.
8 ৮ তেওঁ সকলো কাম আগ-পাছ বিচাৰ কৰি বুদ্ধিমান লোকৰ দৰে কৰিছিল৷ এই হেতুকে ধনী লোক জনে ঘৰগিৰীক শলাগিলে, কিয়নো পোহৰৰ সন্তানতকৈ এই জগতৰ সন্তানবোৰ নিজ জাতিলৈ অধিক বুদ্ধিৱন্ত৷ (aiōn g165)
And his master commended the dishonest steward as having acted prudently: for the men of this world are as to their affairs wiser than the children of light. (aiōn g165)
9 ৯ মই তোমালোকক কওঁ, অযথার্থ ধনেৰে অাপোনালোকে নিজলৈ বন্ধু লাভ কৰে, কিন্তু যেতিয়া সম্পদৰ অন্ত পৰিব, তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে অাপোনালোকক অনন্ত নিবাসত গ্ৰহণ কৰিব৷ (aiōnios g166)
And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends with these unrighteous treasures, that when they fail, ye may be received into everlasting habitations. (aiōnios g166)
He, that is faithful in the lest, is faithful also in much: and he, that is unjust in the lest, is unjust also in much.
If therefore ye have not been faithful in the false riches, who will intrust you with the true?
and if ye have not been faithful in that which was another's, who will give you that which is your own?
13 ১৩ কোনো চাকৰে দুজন গৰাকীৰ ওচৰত সেৱাকৰ্ম কৰিব নোৱাৰে, কিয়নো তেতিয়া তেওঁ এজনক ঘিণ কৰি আন জনক প্ৰেম কৰিব, নাইবা এজনত আসক্ত হৈ আন জনক হেয়ঞ্জান কৰিব৷ আপোনালোকে ঈশ্বৰ আৰু ধন এই দুয়োটা বিষয়তে একেলগে কৰ্ম কৰিব নোৱাৰা৷”
No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or at lest he will be attached to the one, and neglect the other. Ye cannot serve God and Mammon.
And the pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things; and derided Him.
15 ১৫ তেতিয়া তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “আপোনালোকে মানুহৰ আগত নিজকে নিজে ধার্মিক প্ৰমাণিত কৰোঁতা, কিন্তু ঈশ্বৰে আপোনালোকৰ হৃদয় জানে; এতেকে মানুহৰ মাজত যি উত্তম, ঈশ্বৰে দেখাত সেয়ে ঘিণলগীয়া৷
And He said unto them, Ye justify yourselves before men, but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
16 ১৬ যোহন অহালৈকে বিধান আৰু ভাববাদী সকলৰ বাক্য আছিল; তেতিয়াৰ পৰা ঈশ্বৰৰ ৰাজ্যৰ শুভবার্তা ঘোষণা কৰা হৈছে, প্ৰতিজনে অতি আগ্ৰহেৰে সেই ৰাজ্যত প্ৰৱেশ কৰিবলৈ আপ্ৰাণ চেষ্টা কৰিছে৷
The law and the prophets continued until John: from that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every one presseth into it.
Though it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away, than one tittle of the law to fail.
18 ১৮ যি কোনোৱে নিজৰ পত্নিক বিবাহ বিচ্ছেদ কৰি অন্য মহিলাক বিবাহ কৰায়, তেওঁ ব্যভিচাৰ কৰে; যদি সেই পৰিত্যক্তা মহিলা গৰাকীক আন কোনো লোকে বিয়া পাতে তেৱোঁ ব্যভিচাৰ কৰে৷
Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery; and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.
19 ১৯ কোনো এজন ধনী মানুহ আছিল৷ তেওঁ বেঙেনা বৰণীয়া শণ সূতাৰ কাপোৰ পিন্ধি, প্ৰতিদিনে নিজৰ বহুত সম্পত্তিত উল্লাস কৰি আছিল৷
Now there was a certain rich man, who was clothed in purple and fine linen, living voluptuously and splendidly every day.
And there was a poor man named Lazarus,
21 ২১ সেই ধনী ব্যক্তি জনৰ টেবুলৰ তলত পৰা খোৱা বস্তুৰে পেট পুৰাবলৈ মগনীয়া জনে আশা কৰি ৰৈ থাকিছিল৷ তাতে কুকুৰবোৰেও আহি তাৰ ঘাঁবোৰ চেলেকি থাকে৷
who was laid at his gate full of sores, and desiring to be fed with the crumbs that fell from the rich man's table: and the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass that the poor man died,
22 ২২ কালক্ৰমে সেই মগনীয়া জন মৰিল, স্বর্গৰ দূত সকলে আহি অব্ৰাহামৰ কোলালৈ তেওঁক লৈ গ’ল৷ পাছত ধনী ব্যক্তি জনো মৰিল তাতে তেওঁক মৈদাম দিয়া হ’ল৷
and was carried by angels to Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried.
23 ২৩ ধনী ব্যক্তি জনে নৰকত অতি যাতনা পাই ওপৰলৈ চকু তুলি চাই বহু দুৰত অব্ৰাহাম আৰু তেওঁৰ কোলাত লাজাৰক দেখা পালে৷ (Hadēs g86)
And in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham from afar, and Lazarus in his bosom. (Hadēs g86)
24 ২৪ তেতিয়া ধনী ব্যক্তি জনে চিঞৰি ক’লে, ‘পিতৃ অব্ৰাহাম, মোৰ প্ৰতি দয়া কৰক আৰু লাজাৰক ইয়ালৈ পঠাই দিয়ক৷ তেওঁ আঙুলিৰ আগ পানীত জুবুৰিয়াই, মোৰ জিভা চেঁচা কৰিবলৈ তেওঁক পঠিয়াই দিয়ক৷’
And he cried out and said, Father Abraham, have pity on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 ২৫ কিন্তু অব্ৰাহামে তেওঁক ক’লে, ‘বোপা, তুমি জীৱনৰ আয়ুস কালত যেনেদৰে নিজক সুখত ৰাখিবৰ বাবে ভাল বস্তু পাইছিলা, সেইদৰে লাজাৰে তাত দুখ পাইছিল, এতিয়া সেই কথা সোঁৱৰণ কৰা; কিন্তু এতিয়া তেওঁ ইয়াত শান্তিত আছে আৰু তুমি হলে যাতনা পাই আছা৷
And Abraham said, Son, remember that thou receivedst thy good things in thy life-time, and likewise Lazarus his evils: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 ২৬ এতিয়া তোমাৰ আৰু আমাৰ মাজত এক মহাশূন্য স্থাপন কৰা আছে৷ আমি ইচ্ছা কৰিলেও ইয়াৰ পৰা তুমি থকা ঠাইলৈ যাব নোৱাৰো আৰু তোমাৰ তাৰ পৰা ইচ্ছা কৰিলেও কোনো ইয়ালৈ আহিব নোৱাৰা’।
And besides, there is a great gulf fixed between us and you; so that they, who would pass from hence to you, cannot; nor can they pass to us, who would come from thence.
Then he said, Therefore I intreat thee, Father, that thou wouldst send him to my father's house:
28 ২৮ তাতে মোৰ পাঁচ জন ভাই আছে, সিহঁতক যেন তেওঁ গৈ, আহিবলগীয়া এই যাতনাৰ ঠাইৰ বিষয়ে সাক্ষ্য দি সাৱধান কৰি দিয়ে৷
for I have five brethren; that he may testify to them my misery, least they also come into this place of torment.
Abraham answered him, They have Moses and the prophets, let them hear them:
30 ৩০ তেতিয়া সেই ধনী ব্যক্তি জনে ক’লে, ‘তেনে নহওক পিতৃ অব্ৰাহাম, কিন্তু মৃত সকলৰ মাজৰ পৰা যদি কোনো এজন তেওঁলোকৰ ওচৰলৈ যায়, তেনেহলে তেওঁলোকে মন পালটাব৷’
and he said, Nay, father Abraham, but if one went to them from the dead, they will repent.
31 ৩১ তেতিয়া তেওঁক অব্ৰাহামে ক’লে, ‘যদি তেওঁলোকে মোচি আৰু ভাববাদী সকলৰ বাক্য নুশুনে, তেনেহলে মৃত সকলৰ মাজৰ পৰা কোনো এজন উঠি গৈ কলেও তেওঁলোকে নুশুনিব৷’”
And he replied, If they hearken not to Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one should rise from the dead.
