Then Pilate therefore took Jesus and scourged Him.
And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head,
3 ৩ ইয়াৰ পাছত তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি কবলৈ ধৰিলে, “অভিনন্দন, হে ইহুদী সকলৰ ৰজা, জয় হওক!” এইদৰে কৈ তেওঁক চৰ মাৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে।
and threw a purple robe about Him, and said, "Hail king of the Jews," and struck Him with their hands.
4 ৪ পীলাতে আকৌ বাহিৰলৈ গৈ মানুহবোৰক ক’লে, “চোৱা, মই এওঁত একো দোষ নাপালোঁ আৰু সেয়েহে তোমালোকে জানিবৰ কাৰণে, এওঁক তোমালোকৰ সন্মুখলৈ উলিয়াই আনিছো।”
Pilate therefore came out again, and saith unto them, Behold I bring Him out to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in Him.
5 ৫ এনেতে যীচুক কাঁইটৰ কিৰীটি আৰু উজ্বল বৰণীয়া কাপোৰ পিন্ধাই বাহিৰলৈ উলিয়াই আনিলে৷ পীলাতে তেওঁলোকক ক’লে “চোৱা, এই জনেই সেই মানুহ!”
So Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, "Behold the man."
6 ৬ তেতিয়া প্ৰধান পুৰোহিত আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ বিষয়া সকলে যীচুক দেখি, আটাহ পাৰি ক’লে, “ক্রুচত দিয়ক, ক্রুচত দিয়ক”। পীলাতে তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “তোমালোকে নিজে এওঁক নি ক্রুচত দিয়াগৈ; কিয়নো মই এওঁত একো দোষ নাপালোঁ।”
When the chief priests therefore and the officers saw Him, they cried out, saying, "Crucify Him, crucify Him." Pilate saith unto them, Take Him yourselves, and crucify Him: for I find no fault in Him.
7 ৭ ইহুদী সকলে পীলাতক উত্তৰ দিলে, “আমাৰ এক বিধান আছে, সেই বিধানৰ মতে তাৰ প্ৰাণদণ্ড হোৱা উচিত; কিয়নো সি নিজকে নিজে ঈশ্বৰৰ পুত্ৰ বুলি দাবী কৰে।”
The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law He ought to die, because He made himself the Son of God.
Now when Pilate heard this he was the more afraid;
9 ৯ তেওঁ প্ৰিটৰিয়মৰ ভিতৰলৈ সোমাই যীচুক আকৌ সুধিলে, “তুমি ক’ৰ পৰা আহিছা?” কিন্তু যীচুৱে তেওঁক একো উত্তৰ নিদিলে৷
and went into the palace again, and saith to Jesus, From whence art thou? but Jesus gave him no answer.
10 ১০ তেতিয়া পীলাতে তেওঁক ক’লে, “তুমি মোক একো কথা নোকোৱা নে? তোমাক যে এৰি দিবলৈ মোৰ ক্ষমতা আছে আৰু তোমাক ক্রুচত দিবলৈকো মোৰ ক্ষমতা আছে, ইয়াক তুমি নাজানা নেকি?”
Pilate therefore saith unto Him, Dost thou not speak to me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?
11 ১১ যীচুৱে তেওঁক উত্তৰ দিলে, “ওপৰৰ পৰা ক্ষমতা নিদিয়া হ’লে, মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধে তোমাৰ একো ক্ষমতা নহ’লহেঁতেন; এই কাৰণে, যি জনে তোমাৰ হাতত মোক শোধাই দিলে; তেওঁৰেই পাপ গুৰুতৰ।”
Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above; wherefore he, that delivered me up to thee, hath the greater sin.
12 ১২ এই উত্তৰ শুনি পীলাতে তেওঁক এৰি দিবলৈ উপায় বিচাৰিলে; কিন্তু ইহুদী সকলে আটাহ পাৰি ক’লে, “যদি এওঁক এৰি দিয়ে, তেনেহলে আপুনি চীজাৰৰ বন্ধু নহয়; যি কোনোৱে নিজকে নিজে ৰজা পাতে, তেওঁ চীজাৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে কথা কয়।”
Upon this Pilate sought to release Him; but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou release this man, thou art not Cesar's friend; for whosoever maketh himself a king, opposeth Cesar.
13 ১৩ এইবোৰ কথা শুনি, পীলাতে যীচুক পুনৰ বাহিৰলৈ অনালে, আৰু ইব্ৰী ভাষাৰে যাক গব্বথা বোলে, এনে শিলপতা নামেৰে ঠাইত সোধ-বিচাৰ কৰিবলৈ বিচাৰৰ আসনত বহিল।
Therefore when Pilate heard this he brought Jesus forth, and sat down on the tribunal, in a place called the Pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha.
14 ১৪ তেতিয়া নিস্তাৰ-পৰ্বৰ আয়োজনৰ দিনৰ প্ৰায় বাৰটা বজাৰ সময় হৈছিল আৰু পীলাতে ইহুদী সকলক ক’লে, “চোৱা, এয়া তোমালোকৰ ৰজা”
(And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour.) And he saith to the Jews, Behold your king. But they cried out,
15 ১৫ তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে আটাহ পাৰি ক’লে, “দূৰ কৰক, দূৰ কৰক, ক্রুচত দিয়ক”। পীলাতে তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, তোমালোকৰ ৰজাক নো ক্ৰুচত দিম নে? প্ৰধান পুৰোহিত সকলে উত্তৰ দিলে, “চীজাৰৰ বাহিৰে আমাৰ আন ৰজা নাই।”
Away with Him, away with Him, crucify Him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your king? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Cesar.
Then delivered he Him therefore unto them to be crucified.
17 ১৭ তাৰ পাছত তেওঁলোকে যীচুক বাহিৰলৈ লৈ আহিল আৰু নিজৰ কাৰণে ক্ৰুচৰ ভাৰ বৈ, ইব্ৰী ভাষাৰে যাক গলগথা বোলে, এনে মূৰৰ লাউখোলা নামেৰে ঠাইলৈ লৈ গ’ল।
And they took Jesus, and led Him away. And He went out, bearing his cross, into a place called the place of a scull, in Hebrew Golgotha:
18 ১৮ সেই ঠাইতে তেওঁলোকে যীচুক ক্রুচত দিলে৷ তেওঁৰ লগত আন দুজনক মানুহক দুইকাষে ৰাখি যীচুক মাজত ক্রুচত দিলে।
where they crucified Him, and with Him two others, one on each side, and Jesus in the middle.
19 ১৯ পীলাতে এখন জাননী লিখি ক্ৰুচত ওপৰত লগাই দিলে। তাত এই কথা লিখা আছিল, “নাচৰতীয়া যীচু, ইহুদী সকলৰ ৰজা৷”
And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross: and there was written, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.
20 ২০ এই জাননী ইব্ৰী, ৰোমীয়া আৰু গ্ৰীক ভাষাৰে লিখা আছিল; আৰু যীচুক ক্রুচত দিয়া ঠাই নগৰৰ ওচৰ হোৱাত, ইহুদী সকলৰ বহুলোকে সেই জাননী খন পঢ়িলে।
Many of the Jews therefore read this inscription; for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and it was written in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin.
21 ২১ এই কাৰণে ইহুদী সকলৰ প্ৰধান পুৰোহিত সকলে পীলাতক ক’লে, “ইহুদী সকলৰ ৰজা” এই কথা নিলিখিব; কিন্তু ‘মই ইহুদী সকলৰ ৰজা, এই বুলি এওঁ কৈছিল’, ইয়াকে লিখক।”
And the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, Write not "The king of the Jews," but that "He said, I am king of the Jews."
Pilate answered, What I have written, I have written.
23 ২৩ পাছত সৈন্য সকলে যীচুক ক্রুচত দিলে, তেওঁৰ পিন্ধা কাপোৰ চাৰি ভাগ কৰি, গাইপতি এভাগ এভাগ ল’লে; আৰু তেওঁৰ চোলাও ল’লে। সেই চোলা সিয়নি নোহোৱাকৈ ওপৰৰে পৰা গোটেইটো বোৱা আছিল।
And the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, (and made four parts, to each soldier a part, ) and his coat. Now the coat had no seam in it, being woven from the top throughout:
24 ২৪ এই কাৰণে তেওঁলোকে পৰস্পৰে ক’লে, “এইটো চোলা আমি ফালি নেপেলাও, কিন্তু এইটো পাবৰ বাবে চিঠি খেলোৱা হওক৷” শাস্ত্ৰীয় বচন সিদ্ধ হবলৈ এনে হ’ল৷ “তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ মাজত মোৰ পিন্ধা কাপোৰ ভাগ-বাঁটি ল’লে৷. ইয়াক নাফালি কোনে পাব চিঠি খেলালে৷”
they said therefore to one another, Let us not cut it, but let us cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, "They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots." These things therefore the soldiers did.
25 ২৫ এতেকে সৈন্য সকলে এইবোৰ কৰ্ম কৰিলে। যীচুৰ ক্ৰুচৰ ওচৰতে তেওঁৰ মাক, মাকৰ ভনীয়েক, ক্লোপাৰ তিৰোতা মৰিয়ম, আৰু মগ্দলীনী মৰিয়ম থিয় হৈ আছিল।
Now there stood near the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleopas, and Mary Magdalene.
26 ২৬ যেতিয়া যীচুৱে তেওঁৰ মাক আৰু যি শিষ্যক তেওঁ প্ৰেম কৰিছিল, সেই শিষ্য ওচৰত থিয় হৈ থকা দেখিলে, তেতিয়া তেওঁ মাকক ক’লে, “হে নাৰী, চোৱা, তোমাৰ পুত্ৰ”!
Jesus therefore seeing his mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, saith to his mother, Woman, behold thy son:
27 ২৭ তেতিয়া তেওঁ সেই শিষ্যকো ক’লে, “চোৱা, সৌৱা তোমাৰ মাতৃ”! সেই সময়ৰে পৰা সেই জন শিষ্যই তেওঁক নিজৰ ঘৰলৈ লৈ গ’ল।
and then saith to the disciple, Behold thy mother. And from that hour the same disciple took her to his own home.
28 ২৮ ইয়াৰ পাছত যীচুৱে বুজিলে যে সকলো কৰ্ম এতিয়া শেষ হ’ল; সেয়েহে শাস্ত্ৰীয় বচন সিদ্ধ হ’বৰ কাৰণে ক’লে, “মোৰ পিয়াহ লাগিছে”।
After this Jesus knowing that all things were now finished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.
29 ২৯ সেই ঠাইত চিৰকাৰে পূৰ হোৱা এটা পাত্ৰ আছিল; তাতে তেওঁলোকে চিৰকাৰে পূৰ হোৱা স্পঞ্জ এডোখৰ এচোব এডালত লগাই, তেওঁৰ মুখত দিলে।
Now there was set a vessel there full of vinegar: so they filled a spunge with the vinegar, and putting it upon hyssop, held it up to his mouth.
And when Jesus had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished. And reclining his head, He yielded up the ghost.
31 ৩১ সেইদিন আয়োজনদিন হোৱাত, বিশ্ৰামবাৰত দেহ ক্ৰুচৰ ওপৰত নাথাকে, (সেই বিশ্ৰামবাৰ দিনটো এটা বিশেষ দিন বা বৰ-দিন আছিল, কিয়নো সেইদিনা নিস্তাৰপৰ্বৰ দিনো আছিল), এই কাৰণে তেওঁলোকৰ ভৰি ভাঙি, দেহ তললৈ নমাবৰ বাবে ইহুদী সকলে পীলাতৰ ওচৰত গৈ সুধিলে।
The Jews therefore, that the bodies might not remain upon the cross on the sabbath-day, because it was now the preparation, (for that sabbath-day was an high-day) desired Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
So the soldiers came, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other that was crucified with Him. But coming to Jesus,
as they saw He was dead already, they did not break his legs:
34 ৩৪ তথাপি সৈন্য সকলৰ এজনে বৰছাৰে খোঁচ মাৰি তেওঁৰ কোষ হানিলে; আৰু তেতিয়াই তাৰ পৰা তেজ আৰু পানী ওলাই আহিল।
but one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and immediately there came out blood and water.
35 ৩৫ এই ঘটনা যি জনে দেখিলে সেই জনে আহি এই বিষয়ে সাক্ষ্য দিলে, তেওঁৰ সাক্ষ্য সত্য; আৰু তেওঁ জানে যে তেওঁ সত্য কথা কৈছে, এই কাৰণে তোমালোকেও যেন বিশ্বাস কৰা।
And he that saw it testifieth it, and his testimony is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye may believe.
For these things were done, that the scripture might be fulfilled, Not a bone of Him shall be broken.
And again another scripture saith, They shall look on Him whom they have pierced.
38 ৩৮ ইয়াৰ পাছত অৰিমাথিয়া নগৰৰ যোচেফ নামেৰে যীচুৰ এজন শিষ্যই, যি জন ইহুদী সকলৰ ভয়ত গোপনে আছিল, সেই জনে যীচুৰ দেহ নিবৰ বাবে পীলাতৰ ওচৰত গৈ সুধিলে; তাতে পীলাতে অনুমতি দিয়াত, তেওঁ গৈ যীচুৰ দেহটো নমাই লৈ গ’ল।
And after these things Joseph of Arimathea (who was a disciple of Jesus, but a concealed one for fear of the Jews) petitioned Pilate, that he might take away the body of Jesus; and Pilate gave him leave: he came therefore and took away the body of Jesus.
39 ৩৯ তেওঁৰ লগত নীকদীমো আহিছিল, এই জনে প্ৰথম বাৰ ৰাতি যীচুক চাবলৈ তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ গৈছিল, তেৱোঁ আহি গন্ধৰস মিহলি কৰা প্ৰায় চৌত্ৰিশ কিলোগ্ৰাম সুগন্ধি আনিলে।
And there came also Nicodemus (who at first came to Jesus by night) and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes about an hundred pound weight.
40 ৪০ এইদৰে তেওঁলোকে যীচুৰ দেহ লৈ, ইহুদী সকলৰ মৈদামত থোৱা ৰীতি অনুসৰি সেই সুগন্ধি সানি শণ সূতাৰ মিহি কাপোৰেৰে মেৰিয়াই তেওঁক মৈদামত থলে৷
So they took the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen cloths, with the spices, as the custom of the Jews is to bury.
41 ৪১ আৰু যি ঠাইত যীচুক ক্রুচত দিয়া হৈছিল, সেই ঠাইতে এখন বাগিচা আছিল; সেই বাগিচাতে কেতিয়াও কোনো লোকক নোথোৱা, এনে এটা নতুন মৈদামো আছিল।
Now there was a garden in the place where He was crucified; and in the garden a new sepulchre, in which none had ever yet been laid.
42 ৪২ কাৰণ সেইদিনা ইহুদী সকলৰ আয়োজনদিন হোৱাত, সেই মৈদাম ওচৰত থকা কাৰণে, তেওঁলোকে তাতে যীচুক শুৱাই থলে।
There therefore they laid Jesus, because of the Jews preparation-day; for the sepulchre was near.
