1 ১ ইয়াতো মোৰ হৃদয় কঁপিছে, আৰু বুকু ঢপ ঢপ কৰিছে।

At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of its place.

2 ২ শুনা, শুনা, সেইয়া তেওঁৰ গৰ্জ্জনৰ ধ্বনি, সেয়া তেওঁৰ মুখৰ পৰা ওলোৱা শব্দ।

Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.

3 ৩ সেয়া তেওঁ আকাশ-মণ্ডলৰ তলৰ আটাই ঠাইলৈকে পঠাই, আৰু পৃথিবীৰ অন্তলৈকে তেওঁ বিজুলী মাৰে।

He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning to the ends of the earth.

4 ৪ তাৰ পাছত গাজনি মাৰে, তেওঁ নিজৰ মহৎ শব্দেৰে গৰ্জ্জন কৰে; যেতিয়া তেওঁৰ মাত শুনা যায়, তেতিয়াই তেওঁ সেইবোৰক নথমায়।

After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not restrain them when his voice is heard.

5 ৫ ঈশ্বৰে নিজ মাতেৰে আচৰিতৰূপে গৰ্জ্জন কৰে; তেওঁ আমাৰ বোধৰ অগম্য মহৎ কাৰ্যবোৰ কৰে।

God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things he doeth, which we cannot comprehend.

6 ৬ কিয়নো তেওঁ হিমক কয়, ‘তুমি পৃথিবীত পৰা’, সেইদৰে তেওঁ বৰষুণক বৰষিবলৈ কয়, ‘তীব্ৰৰূপ ধৰি বৰষুণ বৰ্ষা’।

For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.

7 ৭ তেওঁ স্ৰজা সকলো মানুহে তেওঁৰ কাৰ্যপ্ৰণালী জানিবৰ বাবে তেওঁ প্ৰত্যেক মানুহৰ হাত বন্ধ কৰে।

He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.

8 ৮ তেতিয়া জন্তুবোৰ চোঙত সোমায়; আৰু নিজ নিজ বাসস্থানত থাকে।

Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places.

9 ৯ দক্ষিণৰ কোঁঠালিৰ পৰা ধুমুহা আহে, আৰু উত্তৰৰ পৰা জাৰ উপস্থিত হয়।

From the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold from the north.

10 ১০ ঈশ্বৰৰ নিশ্বাসৰ দ্বাৰাই বৰফ হয়, আৰু বহল জল সমূহ ঠেক হৈ যায়।

By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is narrowed.

11 ১১ এনে কি, তেওঁ ঘন মেঘত পানী জমা হ’ব দিয়ে, তেওঁ নিজৰ বিজুলী থকা মেঘ বিস্তাৰ কৰে।

Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:

12 ১২ গোটেই ভু-মণ্ডলত সেইবোৰে যেন তেওঁৰ আজ্ঞা অনুসাৰে কাৰ্য কৰে, এই কাৰণে সেইবোৰে তেওঁৰ পৰিচালনৰ দ্বাৰাই ঘুৰি ফুৰে।

And it is turned around by his counsels: that they may do whatever he commandeth them upon the face of the world on the earth.

13 ১৩ তেওঁ এইবোৰ হ’বলৈ সৃষ্টি কৰে, সেয়া শাস্তিৰ বাবেই হওক, বা নিজ পৃথিবীৰ বাবেই হওক, নাইবা বিশ্বস্ততাৰ বাবেই হওক, তেওঁ তাক হ’ব দিয়ে।

He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.

14 ১৪ হে ইয়োব, তুমি ইয়ালৈ কাণ পাতা; থিৰে থাকি ঈশ্বৰৰ আচৰিত কৰ্ম বিবেচনা কৰা।

Hearken to this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.

15 ১৫ ঈশ্বৰে কেনেকৈ মেঘক নিয়ন্ত্রণ কৰে, আৰু কেনেকৈ নিজে বিজুলী প্ৰকাশিত কৰে, তাক তুমি জানানে?

Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?

16 ১৬ কেনেকৈ আকাশত মেঘ ভাহি থাকে, ঈশ্বৰৰ বিস্ময়কৰ কাৰ্যপ্ৰণালীবোৰ তুমি জানানে, জ্ঞানত কোন নিখুত জানানে?

Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge?

17 ১৭ যেতিয়া দক্ষিণ বায়ুৰ দ্বাৰাই পৃথিৱী নিস্তব্ধ হয়, তেতিয়া বস্ত্ৰ কেনেকৈ গৰম যেন বোধ হয় তুমি জানানে?

How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?

18 ১৮ তুমি জানো সাঁচত ঢলা দৰ্পণৰ দৰে দৃঢ় আকাশ-মণ্ডলক তেওঁৰ লগত বিস্তাৰ কৰিব পাৰা?

Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?

19 ১৯ আমি তেওঁক কি ক’ম, সেয়া আমাক জনোৱা; কিয়নো আমাৰ যুক্তিৰ উদ্দেশ্যে আমি একো উলিয়াব পৰা নাই, কাৰণ আমাৰ মন অন্ধকাৰত আচ্ছন্ন।

Teach us what we shall say to him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.

20 ২০ মই কথা কওঁ বুলি তেওঁৰ আগত জনোৱা হব নে? বা কাল গ্ৰাসত পৰিবলৈ কোনোবাই জানো ইচ্ছা কৰিব?

Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man shall speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.

21 ২১ সম্প্ৰতি মানুহে আকাশত মহা-তেজস্বী জ্যোতি দেখা নাপায়; কিন্তু বতাহ চলিলে আকাশ নিৰ্ম্মল হয়।

And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.

22 ২২ উত্তৰৰ পৰা সুৱৰ্ণময় জ্যোতি আহে; ঈশ্বৰত ভয়ানক প্ৰভাৱ আছে।

Fair weather cometh from the north: with God is terrible majesty.

23 ২৩ সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমান জনা আমাৰ তত্ত্বৰ অগম্য, তেওঁ পৰাক্ৰমত মহান; তেওঁ ন্যায় বিচাৰ আৰু ধাৰ্মিকতাৰ বিপৰীত কোনো ৰূপে নকৰে।

As for the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in abundance of justice: he will not afflict.

24 ২৪ এই কাৰণে মানুহে তেওঁলৈ ভয় ৰাখে; কিন্তু যিসকল লোকে নিজৰ মনতে জ্ঞানী বুলি ভাবে, তেনেলোকলৈ তেওঁ মনোযোগ নিদিয়ে।

Men therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.
