1 ১ ইচহাকে যাকোবক মাতি আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰিলে আৰু এই আজ্ঞা দিলে, “তুমি কনান দেশৰ কোনো ছোৱালী বিয়া নকৰিবা।

2 ২ তুমি উঠি পদ্দন-অৰাম দেশত তোমাৰ মাতৃৰ পিতৃগৃহ বথোৱেলৰ ঘৰলৈ যোৱা। তাৰ পৰা তোমাৰ মোমায়েৰা লাবনৰ জীয়েকহঁতৰ মাজৰ কোনো এজনীক বিয়া কৰি আনাগৈ।

3 ৩ সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমান ঈশ্বৰে তোমাক আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰক আৰু বহুবংশ কৰি বৃদ্ধি কৰক। তোমাক অনেক জাতি সমূহৰ পিতৃ হোৱাৰ ক্ষমতা দিয়ক।
and God Almighty to bless [obj] you and be fruitful you and to multiply you and to be to/for assembly people
4 ৪ যি আশীৰ্ব্বাদ ঈশ্বৰে অব্ৰাহামক দিছিল, সেই আশীর্বাদ তেওঁ তোমাক আৰু তোমাৰ পাছত তোমাৰ বংশৰ লোকসকলক দান কৰক। যি দেশ ঈশ্বৰে অব্রাহামক দিছিল আৰু য’ত তুমি বাস কৰি আছা, সেই দেশ তোমাৰ অধিকাৰলৈ আহক।”

5 ৫ এইদৰে ইচহাকে যাকোবক পঠাই দিলে আৰু যাকোবেও পদ্দন-অৰামৰ অৰামীয়া বথোৱেলৰ পুত্ৰ লাবনৰ ওচৰলৈ গ’ল। লাবন যাকোব আৰু এচৌৰ মাক ৰিবেকাৰ ককায়েক আছিল।

6 ৬ পাছত এচৌৱে জানিলে যে ইচহাকে যাকোবক আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰি পদ্দন-অৰামৰ পৰা কোনো ছোৱালীক বিয়া কৰি আনিবলৈ পঠাইছে; তেওঁ আৰু শুনিলে যে ইচহাকে যাকোবক আশীৰ্ব্বাদ দিয়াৰ সময়ত এই আজ্ঞা দিছিল “তুমি কোনো কনানীয়া ছোৱালীক বিয়া নকৰিবা।”

9 ৯ সেয়ে দুগৰাকী ভার্য্যা থকাতো তেওঁ অব্ৰাহামৰ পুতেক ইশ্মায়েলৰ ঘৰলৈ গৈ তেওঁৰ জীয়েক মহলতক বিয়া কৰিলে। মহলত নবায়োতৰ ভনীয়েক আছিল।

11 ১১ এখন ঠাইত বেলি মাৰ যোৱাত তেওঁ সেই ঠাইতে ৰাতিটো কটালে। সেই ঠাইৰে এটা শিল মূৰৰ তলত লৈ তেওঁ শুই থাকিল।
and to fall on in/on/with place and to lodge there for to come (in): (sun)set [the] sun and to take: take from stone [the] place and to set: put head his and to lie down: sleep in/on/with place [the] he/she/it
12 ১২ তেওঁ শুই থাকোতে সপোনত দেখিলে যে পৃথিৱীৰ ওপৰত এডাল জখলা থিয় হৈ আছে আৰু তাৰ মূৰটো গৈ স্বর্গত লাগি আছে। তেওঁ দেখিলে যে তাৰ ওপৰেদি ঈশ্বৰৰ দূতবোৰে উঠা-নমা কৰি আছিল আৰু
and to dream and behold ladder to stand land: country/planet [to] and head: top his to touch [the] heaven [to] and behold messenger: angel God to ascend: rise and to go down in/on/with him
13 ১৩ যিহোৱাই খটখটিৰ ওপৰত থিয় হৈ কৈছিল, “মই যিহোৱা। মই তোমাৰ ওপৰ পিতৃ অব্ৰাহামৰ ঈশ্বৰ আৰু ইচহাকৰো ঈশ্বৰ; তুমি যি ঠাইত শয়ন কৰিছা, সেই দেশ মই তোমাক আৰু তোমাৰ বংশক দিম।
and behold LORD to stand upon him and to say I LORD God Abraham father your and God Isaac [the] land: country/planet which you(m. s.) to lie down: lay down upon her to/for you to give: give her and to/for seed: children your
14 ১৪ তোমাৰ বংশ পৃথিৱীৰ ধুলিৰ নিচিনা অসংখ্য হ’ব; তুমি পূৱ, পশ্চিম, উত্তৰ আৰু দক্ষিণলৈ বিস্তাৰিত হৈ যাবা; পৃথিৱীৰ সমুদায় জাতি, তোমাৰ আৰু তোমাৰ বংশতে আশীৰ্ব্বাদপ্ৰাপ্ত হ’ব।
and to be seed: children your like/as dust [the] land: soil and to break through sea: west [to] and east [to] and north [to] and south [to] and to bless in/on/with you all family [the] land: soil and in/on/with seed: children your
15 ১৫ চোৱা, মই তোমাৰ লগত আছোঁ; তুমি যি যি ঠাইলৈ যাবা, মই তোমাক ৰক্ষা কৰিম আৰু পুনৰায় মই তোমাক এই দেশলৈ ওলোটাই আনিম; কিয়নো মই তোমাক কোৱা সকলো কথাকে সিদ্ধ নকৰোঁমানে, মই তোমাক ত্যাগ নকৰিম।”
and behold I with you and to keep: guard you in/on/with all which to go: went and to return: return you to(wards) [the] land: soil [the] this for not to leave: forsake you till which if: until to make: do [obj] which to speak: promise to/for you
16 ১৬ যাকোবে টোপনিৰ পৰা সাৰ পাই ক’লে, “তেন্তে যিহোৱা নিশ্চয়কৈ এই ঠাইত আছে, অথচ মই তাক জনা নাছিলোঁ।”
and to awake Jacob from sleep his and to say surely there LORD in/on/with place [the] this and I not to know
and to fear: revere and to say what? to fear: revere [the] place [the] this nothing this that if: except if: except house: home God and this gate [the] heaven
18 ১৮ পাছত যাকোবে অতি ৰাতিপুৱাতে উঠিল আৰু তেওঁ যি শিল মুৰৰ তলত লৈছিল তাক স্তম্ভৰূপে স্থাপন কৰি ওপৰত তেল বাকি দিলে।
and to rise Jacob in/on/with morning and to take: take [obj] [the] stone which to set: put head his and to set: make [obj] her pillar and to pour: pour oil upon head: top her
and to call: call by [obj] name [the] place [the] he/she/it Bethel Bethel and but Luz name [the] city to/for first
20 ২০ যাকোবে সঙ্কল্প কৰি এই প্ৰতিজ্ঞা কৰিলে, “যদি ঈশ্বৰ মোৰ সঙ্গী হয়, মোৰ এই যাত্রাপথত তেওঁ মোক ৰক্ষা কৰে, যদি তেওঁ মোক অন্ন-বস্ত্রও যোগাই দিয়ে,
and to vow Jacob vow to/for to say if to be God with me me and to keep: guard me in/on/with way: journey [the] this which I to go: went and to give: give to/for me food: bread to/for to eat and garment to/for to clothe

22 ২২ তেতিয়া এই যি শিল মই স্তম্ভ স্বৰূপে স্থাপন কৰিলোঁ, ই এক পবিত্র শিল হ’ব; আপুনি মোক যি যি দিব, মই তাৰ দহ ভাগৰ এভাগ আপোনাক ঘূৰাই দিম।”
