গালাতীয়া 4
1 ১ কিন্তু মই কওঁ, উত্তৰাধিকাৰী শিশুহৈ থকালৈকে, সৰ্ব্বস্বৰ গৰাকী হ’লেও তাতে তেওঁ আৰু দাসৰ মাজত একো প্ৰভেদ নাথাকে;
Now as long as the heir is a child, he differeth nothing from a servant, though he is to be lord of all:
but is under guardians and managers till the time appointed by the father.
So we when we were children, were in servitude under the elements of the world:
4 ৪ কিন্তু যেতিয়া কাল সম্পূৰ্ণ হ’ল, তেতিয়া ঈশ্বৰে তেওঁৰ নিজ পুত্ৰক পঠাই দিলে, যি জন মহিলাৰ পৰা জন্ম পোৱা আৰু ব্যৱস্থা বিধানৰ অধীনত উৎপন্ন হোৱা,
but when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth his Son born of a woman made under the law,
5 ৫ তেওঁ যাতে বিধানৰ অধীনত থকা সকলোকে মুক্ত কৰিব পাৰে, তাতে আমি সকলোৱে যেন তেওঁৰ সন্তান ৰূপে স্বীকৃতি হওঁ৷
that He might redeem those that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6 ৬ কাৰণ অাপোনালোক আটায়ে ঈশ্বৰৰ পুত্ৰ, ঈশ্বৰে তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰৰ আত্মা নিজৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা আমাৰ হৃদয়লৈ পঠায় দিলে; সেই আত্মাই, “আব্বা, পিতৃ”, এই বুলি মাতে।
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 ৭ এই কাৰণে আপুনি পুনৰ আগৰ দৰে দাস নহয় কিন্তু পুত্ৰ হৈছে; যিহেতু পুত্ৰ হৈছে, সেয়েহে ঈশ্বৰৰ দ্বাৰাই উত্তৰাধিকাৰীও হৈছে৷
So that thou art no longer a servant, but a son; and if a son, an heir also of God through Christ.
8 ৮ পূৰ্বতে আপোনালোকে যেতিয়া ঈশ্বৰক জনা নাছিল, তেতিয়া যিবোৰ স্বাভাৱিকৰূপে ঈশ্বৰ নহয়, সেইবোৰৰ সেৱাকৰ্ম কৰিছিল।
But then indeed, when ye knew not God, ye served those which in reality are no gods.
9 ৯ কিন্তু এতিয়া আপোনালোকে ঈশ্বৰৰ পৰিচয় পালে, ইয়াৰ উপৰি ঈশ্বৰৰ দ্বাৰাই পৰিচিত হ’ল; এনে স্থলত কেনেকৈ পুনৰ সেই দূৰ্বল আৰু দীনহীন প্ৰাথমিক বিধিলৈ উলটি যাব? কেনেকৈ পুনৰ সেই বিধিবোৰৰ সেৱাকৰ্ম কৰিব পাৰিব?
But now that ye know God, or rather are known by God, how is it that ye turn again to the poor weak elements, to which ye desire again to be in bondage as before?
Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years:
11 ১১ আপোনালোকৰ কাৰণে মোৰ এই ভয় হয়; জানোচা মই যি পৰিশ্ৰম কৰিলোঁ, সেয়ে কিজানিবা কেনেবাকৈ ব্যর্থ হয়।
so that I am afraid for you, least I have indeed bestowed upon you labour in vain.
12 ১২ হে ভাই সকল, বিনয় কৰি কৈছোঁ, অাপোনালোক মোৰ নিচিনা হওক; কিয়নো ময়ো আপোনালোকৰ নিচিনা হৈছোঁ। আপোনালোকে মোৰ একো অন্যায় কৰা নাছিল।
Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I also was as ye are: and ye have not injured me at all.
13 ১৩ মোৰ শৰীৰৰ দূৰ্ব্বলতাৰ কাৰণে, মই যে প্ৰথম বাৰ আপোনালোকৰ আগত শুভবাৰ্তা প্ৰচাৰ কৰিছিলোঁ, সেই বিষয়ে আপোনালোকে জানে।
But ye know that in the infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel to you at first:
14 ১৪ মোৰ মাংসত আপোনালোকৰ যি পৰীক্ষা হৈছিল, সেই বিষয়ত আপোনালোকে হেয়জ্ঞান আৰু ঘৃণাবোধ কৰা নাছিল; বৰং ঈশ্বৰৰ এজন দূত, এনে কি খ্ৰীষ্ট যীচুৰ নিচিনাকৈ মোক গ্ৰহন কৰিছিল।
and my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected me for it; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
15 ১৫ এতিয়া আপোনালোকৰ সেই আনন্দ ক’ত? কিয়নো আপোনালোকৰ পক্ষে মই সাক্ষ্য দিছিলোঁ যে, সাধ্য হোৱা হ’লে আপোনালোকে নিজ নিজ চকুকো কাঢ়ি মোক দিলেহেঁতেন।
What then was your blessedness? for I bear you witness that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.
And am I become your enemy for telling you the truth?
17 ১৭ সেই লোক সকল আপোনালোকৰ প্ৰতি আগ্ৰহী কিন্তু কোনো ভাল উদ্দেশ্যৰ বাবে আগ্ৰহী নহয়৷ তেওঁলোকে আপোনালোকক মোৰ কাষৰ পৰা অাতৰাই অানিবলৈ বিচাৰে, যাতে আপোনালোকে তেওঁলোকৰ প্ৰতি আগ্ৰহ প্ৰকাশ কৰে৷
They are zealous for you, but not as they ought: for they would exclude us, that ye may be zealous for them:
18 ১৮ অৱশ্যে আগ্ৰহ দেখুওৱা ভাল, যদিহে সৎ উদ্দেশ্যেৰে তাক কৰা হয়৷ অকল মই আপোনালোকৰ তাত উপস্থিত থাকোতে যে ভাল, এনে নহয়, কিন্তু সকলো সময়তে থকা ভাল।
But it is good to be zealously affected always in that which is good, and not only when I am present with you.
19 ১৯ হে মোৰ প্ৰিয় সন্তান সকল, আপোনালোকৰ কাৰণে পুনৰ এবাৰ প্ৰসৱ যন্ত্ৰণা ভোগ কৰিছোঁ; যেতিয়ালৈকে আপোনালোকত খ্ৰীষ্টৰ আকাৰ উৎপন্ন নহয়, তেতিয়ালৈকে ভোগ কৰি আছোঁ৷
My little children, of whom I do as it were travail in birth again,
20 ২০ এতিয়া আপোনালোকৰ ওচৰত যাবৰ বাবে মোৰ মন গৈ আছে আৰু তাত বেলেগ ভাবে এই সকলো কথা আপোনালোকৰ লগত আলোচনা কৰিব পাৰিলোঁ হয়৷ আপোনালোকৰ বাবে মই বিবুদ্ধিত পৰি আছোঁ।
till Christ be formed in you, I should be glad to be present with you even now, and to change my voice; for I am in doubt about you.
21 ২১ হে বিধান-শাস্ত্ৰৰ অধীন হ’ব খোজা সকল, মোক কওকচোন, আপোনালোকৰ মাজৰ কোনে বিধানৰ কথা শুনিবলৈ নিবিচাৰে?
Tell me, you that are so desirous to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
22 ২২ কিয়নো লিখা আছে যে, অব্ৰাহামৰ দুজন পুত্ৰ আছিল; বেটীৰ গৰ্ভত ওপজা এজন, স্বাধীন জনীৰ গৰ্ভত ওপজা এজন।
where it is written, that Abraham had two sons, one by a servant, and one by a free-woman?
23 ২৩ কিন্তু বেটীৰ যি জন, সি মাংস অনুসাৰে জন্মিছিল; কিন্তু স্বাধীন জনীৰ যি জন, সেই জন প্ৰতিজ্ঞাৰ গুণেহে জন্মিছিল।
But he who was of the servant, was born according to the course of nature; whereas the son of the free-woman was by virtue of the promise.
24 ২৪ এইবোৰ কথাৰ এটা আন প্ৰকাৰ ভাবাৰ্থ আছে; কিয়নো এই দুজনীয়েই দুই বিধান হৈছে; এক নিয়ম চীনয় পৰ্বতৰ পৰা দাসত্বৰূপ অৱস্থাত প্ৰসৱ কৰোঁতা; সেয়ে হৈছে হাগাৰ৷
Which things are figurative; for these persons are emblems of the two covenants, the one from mount Sinai, bringing forth children unto bondage, which is Hagar: for this name Hagar,
25 ২৫ কিয়নো আৰব দেশত হাগাৰ শব্দৰ অৰ্থ, চীনয় পৰ্বত; আৰু বৰ্তমানে থকা যিৰূচালেমকো বুজায়; কিয়নো তাই নিজ সন্তানে সৈতে বন্দী অৱস্থাত আছিল।
a rock, is expressive of mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to the present Jerusalem, which is in bondage with her children.
But the Jerusalem above is represented by the free-woman, which is the mother of us all.
27 ২৭ কিয়নো লিখা আছে, “হে প্ৰসৱ নকৰা বন্ধ্যা আনন্দ কৰা, তোমালোকৰ মাজৰ যি গৰাকীয়ে সন্তান প্ৰসৱ কৰা নাই; বৰ মাতেৰে উল্লাস আৰু হৰ্ষনাদ কৰা; কিয়নো গিৰিয়েক থকা জনীতকৈ অনাথিনী জনীৰ সন্তান অধিক হব।”
For it is written, Rejoice thou barren, that for a while didst not bear, break forth and cry aloud for joy, thou that didst not travail with child; for many more are the children of the desolate than of her that hath an husband."
Now we, brethren, like Isaac, are children of the promise.
29 ২৯ কিন্তু তেতিয়া যেনেকৈ মাংস অনুসাৰে জন্ম পোৱা জনে আত্মা অনুসাৰে জন্ম পোৱা জনক তাড়না কৰিছিল, তেনেকৈ এতিয়াও হৈছে।
But as then he that was born after the flesh, persecuted him who was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
30 ৩০ কিন্তু শাস্ত্ৰই কি কয়? ‘বেটী আৰু তাইৰ পুতেকক খেদি দিয়া; কিয়নো স্বাধীন জনীৰ পুতেকৰ সৈতে, বেটীৰ পুতেকে উত্তৰাধিকাৰী নাপাব’।
But what saith the scripture? "Cast out the servant and her son: for the son of the servant shall not inherit with the son of the free-woman."
Now we, my brethren, are not children of the servant, but of the free-woman.
