২ তীমথিয় 2
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace which is in Christ Jesus:
2 ২ আৰু অনেক সাক্ষীৰ আগত মোৰ পৰা যি যি শুনিলা, সেই সকলো কথা অন্য লোকক শিকাবলৈ, বিশ্বাসী আৰু নিপুণ লোক সকলক সমর্পণ কৰা।
and the things which thou hast heard from me, before many witnesses, these commit to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
Do thou therefore endure hardship, as becomes a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 ৪ কোনো এজন লোক সৈনিকৰ কামত থাকোতে জীৱিকাৰ অর্থে অন্য কোনো ব্যবসায়ত নিজকে আৱদ্ধ হবলৈ নিদিয়ে কিন্তু যি জনে তেওঁক এই পদ দিলে, তেওঁকহে সন্তুষ্ট কৰিবলৈ চেষ্টা কৰে।
No one, that enters into military service, embarrasseth himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him.
5 ৫ একেদৰে কোনো এজন খেলুৱৈয়ে যদিও জিকিবলৈ যত্ন কৰে, তথাপি তেওঁ যদি বিধান অনুসাৰে পালন নকৰে, তেনেহলে তেওঁক মুকুটেৰে বিভূষিত কৰা নহয়।
And if any one contend in the public games, he gains not the crown unless he contend fairly.
The husbandman must labour first, in order to partake of the fruits.
Consider what I say, and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.
Remember Jesus Christ of the seed of David, who was raised from the dead, according to my gospel:
9 ৯ সেই শুভবার্তাৰ সম্বন্ধে মই শিকলিৰ বন্ধনত থাকি দুষ্কর্মীৰ দৰে ক্লেশ ভোগ কৰিছোঁ। কিন্তু ঈশ্বৰৰ সেই বাক্যত হ’লে শিকলিৰ বন্ধন নাই।
for whose sake I suffer trouble even unto bonds, as if I were a malefactor; but the word of God is not bound.
10 ১০ এই কাৰণে যি সকলক মনোনীত কৰা হ’ল অর্থাৎ তেওঁলোকেও অনন্ত গৌৰৱেৰে সৈতে যেন খ্ৰীষ্ট যীচুত থকা পৰিত্রাণ লাভ কৰিব পাৰে, তাৰ কাৰণে মই এই সকলোবোৰকে সহন কৰিছোঁ। (aiōnios g166)
Therefore I submit to every thing for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is by Christ Jesus, with eternal glory. (aiōnios g166)
It is an undoubted truth, if we are dead with Him, we shall also live with Him:
12 ১২ আমি যদি সহন কৰোঁ, তেনেহলে তেওঁৰ সৈতে ৰাজত্বও কৰিম৷ আমি যদি তেওঁক অস্বীকাৰ কৰোঁ, তেনেহলে তেৱোঁ আমাক অস্বীকাৰ কৰিব৷
if we suffer, we shall also reign with Him: if we disown Him, He will also disown us.
If we are unfaithful, He continueth faithful notwithstanding; He cannot renounce Himself.
14 ১৪ তুমি এই সকলো কথা তেখেত সকলক সোঁৱৰাই থাকিবা, আৰু বাগযুদ্ধ নকৰিবলৈ প্ৰভুৰ সাক্ষাতে তেখেত সকলক দৃঢ় আজ্ঞা কৰা, কিয়নো বাগযুদ্ধবোৰে একো লাভ নজন্মাই কিন্তু শুনা লোক সকলক নাশ কৰে।
These things remind them of, charging them before the Lord not to contend about words, which is profitable for nothing, and tends to the subversion of the hearers.
15 ১৫ তুমি নিজকে পৰীক্ষাসিদ্ধ লোক, লাজৰ যোগ্য নোহোৱা কর্মী আৰু সত্যৰ বাক্য শুদ্ধকৈ কোৱাত নিপুনহবলৈ ঈশ্বৰৰ অনুমোদন পাবৰ বাবে যত্ন কৰা।
Endeavour to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 ১৬ কিন্তু নিন্দাযুক্ত কথাবোৰৰ পৰা পৃথক থাকিবা, কিয়নো এইবোৰে অধিকৰূপে ঈশ্ৱৰক অবিশ্ৱাস কৰিবলৈ বাট দেখুৱাই লৈ যায়৷
But avoid prophane empty harangues; for they will proceed to more impiety,
17 ১৭ এনে কথাবোৰ বিয়পি পৰে আৰু গেলা ঘাৰ দৰে নষ্ট কৰি বিস্তাৰ লাভ কৰে, এনে লোকবোৰৰ ভিতৰতে হুমিনায় আৰু ফিলীতো আছে,
and their discourse will eat like a gangrene. Of whom is Hymeneus and Philetus; who have erred from the truth,
18 ১৮ তেওঁলোক সত্য পথৰ পৰা ভ্ৰষ্ট হোৱা৷ তেওঁলোকে পুনৰুত্থান হৈ যোৱা বুলি প্ৰচাৰ কৰি কিছুমান লোকৰ বিশ্বাস বিনষ্ট কৰিছে।
saying that the resurrection is already past; and subvert the faith of some.
19 ১৯ তথাপি ঈশ্বৰে স্থাপন কৰা দৃঢ় ভিত্তিমূল থিৰে থাকে আৰু তাৰ ওপৰত এই কথা মোহৰ মৰা আছে, বোলে- “প্ৰভুৱে তেওঁৰ লোক সকলক জানে,” আৰু “যি কোনোৱে প্ৰভুৰ নাম লয়, তেওঁ অধার্মিকতাৰ পৰা দূৰ হওক।”
However, the foundation of God standeth firm, having this inscription, The Lord knoweth them that are his; and, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
20 ২০ কিয়নো ডাঙৰ ঘৰত কেৱল সোণ ৰূপৰ পাত্ৰহে থাকে, এনে নহয়, কাঠৰ আৰু মাটিৰ পাত্ৰও থাকে৷ তাৰে কিছুমান সমাদৰৰ কাৰণে আৰু কিছুমান অনাদৰৰ কাৰণে।
In a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honor, some for meaner uses.
21 ২১ এতেকে কোনোৱে যদি এইবোৰৰ পৰা নিজকে শুচি কৰি ৰাখে, তেনেহলে তেওঁ সমাদৰৰ পাত্ৰ, পবিত্ৰীকৃত, প্ৰভুৰ কার্যৰ বাবে উপযোগী আৰু সকলো সৎ কর্মৰ বাবে প্ৰস্তুত থাকিব।
If therefore any one purify himself from these corruptions, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified and fitted for the Master's use, being prepared for every good work.
22 ২২ কিন্তু তুমি যৌৱন কালৰ অভিলাষৰ পৰা পলোৱা আৰু ধাৰ্মিকতা, বিশ্বাস, প্ৰেম, শান্তি আৰু নিৰ্মল মনেৰে প্ৰভুলৈ প্ৰার্থনা কৰা লোক সকলৰ সৈতে এক হৈ সেইবোৰক অনুসৰণ কৰা৷
Flee youthful passions: and follow righteousness, fidelity, love, and peace, with all those that call upon the Lord out of a pure heart:
23 ২৩ কিন্তু মূৰ্খতা আৰু অযথা কথাবোৰৰ পৰা দূৰত থাকা৷ কিয়নো এইবোৰে বিৰোধ জন্মায় কাজিয়া সৃষ্টি কৰে৷
but foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they produce quarrels; for the servant of the Lord ought not to wrangle,
24 ২৪ প্ৰভুৰ দাসে বিৰোধ কৰিব নালাগে কিন্তু সকলোকে মৃদুশীল, শিক্ষা দিয়াত নিপুন আৰু অপকাৰত সহনীয় হৈ,
but to be gentle towards all men, ready to teach, patient under injuries,
25 ২৫ বিৰোধ কৰাবোৰক মৃদুভাবে শিক্ষা দিব লাগে৷ তেতিয়া সেই সত্যৰ তত্ব জ্ঞানৰ অর্থে ঈশ্বৰে তেওঁলোকক মন-পালটনৰ বৰ দিব
with meekness instructing those of different sentiments, not knowing but God may give them repentance to the acknowledgement of the truth;
and they may awake out of the snare of the devil, who have been captivated by him to his will.
