1 ১ শেষতে, হে ভাইসকল, আমাৰ কাৰণে প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰক। প্ৰার্থনা কৰক যাতে আপোনালোকৰ মাজত প্ৰভুৰ বাক্য যেনেকৈ দ্রুতগতিত প্ৰসাৰিত হৈছিল, তেনেকৈ বিস্তাৰিত আৰু গৌৰৱাম্বিত হওক;
In conclusion, Brothers, pray for us — pray that the Lord’s Message may spread rapidly, and be received everywhere with honour, as it was among you;
2 ২ প্ৰার্থনা কৰক যেন দুৰাচাৰী আৰু দুষ্ট লোকৰ হাতৰ পৰা আমি ৰক্ষা পাওঁ; কিয়নো, সকলো লোকৰ যে বিশ্বাস আছে, এনে নহয়।
and that we may be preserved from wrong-headed and wicked men — for it is not every one who believes in Christ.
3 ৩ কিন্তু, প্ৰভু বিশ্বাসী; তেৱেঁই আপোনালোকক সুস্থিৰ কৰিব আৰু দুষ্ট শক্তি চয়তানৰ হাতৰ পৰা ৰক্ষা কৰিব।
But the Lord will not fail you; he will give you strength, and guard you from Evil.
4 ৪ আপোনালোকৰ সম্বন্ধে প্ৰভুত আমাৰ দৃঢ় বিশ্বাস আছে যে, আমি দিয়া সকলো আদেশ আপোনালোকে পালন কৰিছে আৰু আগলৈও কৰি থাকিব।
Yes, and the confidence that our union with the Lord enables us to place in you leads us to believe that you are doing, and will do, what we direct you.
May the Lord bring you to the love of God, and to the patience of the Christ.
6 ৬ ভাইসকল, আমি আমাৰ প্ৰভু যীচু খ্ৰীষ্টৰ নামেৰে আপোনালোকক এই আদেশ দিওঁ যে, কোনো ভায়ে যদি এলেহুৱা হৈ অনিয়মত চলে আৰু আমাৰ পৰা আপোনালোকে পোৱা শিক্ষা অনুসাৰে নচলে, তেনেহলে তাৰ লগ এৰক।
We urge you, Brothers, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to avoid any Brother who is living an ill-ordered life, which is not in agreement with the teaching that you received from us.
7 ৭ কিয়নো আমাৰ অনুকাৰী কেনেকৈ হ’ব লাগে, সেই বিষয়ে আপোনালোকে নিজে জানে। আপোনালোকৰ মাজত থকাৰ সময়ত আমি এলেহুৱা হৈ অনিয়মত চলা নাছিলোঁ;
For you know well that you ought to follow our example. When we were with you, our life was not ill-ordered,
8 ৮ মূল্য নিদিয়াকৈ আমি কাৰো আহাৰ গ্ৰহণ কৰা নাছিলোঁ। ইয়াৰ পৰিৱর্তে আমি আপোনালোকৰ ওপৰত বোজা নহবলৈ দিনে-ৰাতিয়ে পৰিশ্ৰম আৰু কষ্টেৰে কাম কৰিছিলোঁ৷
nor did we eat any one’s bread without paying for it. Night and day, labouring and toiling, we used to work at our trades, so as not to be a burden upon any of you.
9 ৯ ইয়াত আমাৰ যে ক্ষমতা নাই, এনে নহয়; কিন্তু আপোনালোক যেন আমাৰ অনুকাৰী হয়, তাৰ বাবে আপোনালোকৰ ওচৰত আমি আৰ্হি হবলৈহে ইয়াকে কৰিলোঁ।
This was not because we had not a right to receive support, but our object was to give you a pattern for you to copy.
10 ১০ কাম কৰিবলৈ যদি কোনোৱে অসন্মত হয়, তেনেহলে তেওঁ আহাৰো গ্ৰহন নকৰক, এই বুলি আপোনালোকৰ মাজত থাকোতেই, আমি আপোনালোকক আদেশ দিছিলোঁ।
Indeed, when we were with you, what we urged upon you was — ‘If a man does not choose to work, then he shall not eat.’
11 ১১ কাৰণ, আমি শুনিবলৈ পাওঁ যে, আপোনালোকৰ কোনো কোনোৱে এলেহুৱা হৈ অনিয়মত চলি আছে আৰু একো কাম নকৰি অনাধিকাৰ চৰ্চ্চা কৰি ফুৰে।
We hear that there are among you people who are living ill-ordered lives, and who, instead of attending to their own business, are mere busy-bodies.
12 ১২ এনে লোক সকলক আমি প্ৰভু যীচু খ্ৰীষ্টৰ নামেৰে আদেশ আৰু উপদেশ দিওঁ, তেওঁলোকে শান্তভাবে কাম কৰি নিজৰ নিজৰ আহাৰ ভোজন কৰক।
All such people we urge, and entreat, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to attend quietly to their business, and earn their own living.
You, Brothers, must not grow weary of doing what is right.
14 ১৪ এই পত্ৰৰ দ্বাৰাই জনোৱা আমাৰ বাক্য কোনোৱে যদি নামানে, তেনেহলে আপোনালোকে সেই মানুহক চিনি ৰাখিব আৰু তেওঁ লাজ পাবলৈ তেৱেঁ সৈতে আলাপ-ব্যৱহাৰো নকৰিব;
If any one disregards what we have said in this letter, mark that man and avoid his company, that he may feel ashamed.
Yet do not think of him as an enemy, but caution him as you would a Brother.
16 ১৬ এতিয়া শান্তিদাতা প্ৰভুৱে নিজে সকলো সময়ত সকলোভাৱে আপোনালোকক শান্তি দান কৰক। প্ৰভু আপোনালোক সকলোৰে সঙ্গী হওক।
May the Lord, from whom all peace comes, himself give you his peace at all times and in all ways. May he be with you all.
