1 ১ পাছত অৰামৰ ৰজা বিন-হদদে নিজৰ সৈন্য সমূহক গোট খোৱালে; তেওঁৰ লগত বত্ৰিশ জন ৰজা, ঘোঁৰা আৰু ৰথবোৰ আছিল। তেওঁ গৈ চমৰিয়া অৱৰোধ কৰিলে, আৰু চমৰিয়াৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কৰিলে।

4 ৪ তেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “হে মোৰ প্ৰভু মহাৰাজ, আপুনি যিদৰে কৈছে তেনেই হ’ব। মই আৰু মোৰ সকলো আপোনাৰেই।”

5 ৫ পাছত দূতবোৰে পুনৰায় আহি ক’লে, “বিন-হদদে এই কথা কৈছে, ‘তুমি তোমাৰ ৰূপ, সোণ, পত্নীসকল আৰু সন্তান সকলক মোলৈ শোধাই দিয়া বুলি ক’বলৈ তোমাৰ ওচৰলৈ দূত পঠিয়াইছোঁ হয়;

6 ৬ কিন্তু কাইলৈ এনে সময়ত মই মোৰ দাসবোৰক তোমাৰ ওচৰলৈ পঠিয়াম, তাতে তেওঁলোকে তোমাৰ ঘৰত আৰু তোমাৰ দাসবোৰৰ ঘৰত বিচাৰ কৰি, তেওঁলোকৰ দৃষ্টিত যি উত্তম, সেই সকলোকে দখল কৰি লৈ আহিব’।”

7 ৭ তেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই দেশৰ বৃদ্ধ লোকসকলক মাতি আনি তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “মই বিনয় কৰোঁ, তোমালোকে বিবেচনা কৰি চোৱা কিদৰে এই মানুহজনে কেৱল অনিষ্টৰ চেষ্টা কৰিছে। কিয়নো তেওঁ মোৰ ভাৰ্য্যা আৰু সন্তান সকলক নিজৰ কৰিবলৈ আৰু মোৰ ৰূপ ও সোণৰ কাৰণেও আদেশ পঠিওৱাত, মই তেওঁক অস্বীকাৰ কৰা নাই।”

8 ৮ তেতিয়া বৃদ্ধ লোকসকল আৰু সকলো প্ৰজাই আহাবক ক’লে, “আপুনি তেওঁৰ কথা নুশুনিব আৰু সেই কথাত সন্মতো নহ’ব।”

9 ৯ এই হেতুকে আহাবে বিন-হদদৰ দূতবোৰক ক’লে, “মোৰ প্ৰভু মহাৰাজক ক’বা, ‘আপুনি প্ৰথমে আপোনাৰ দাসৰ ওচৰলৈ দূত পঠিয়াই যি কৈছিল, সেই সকলোকে মই কৰিম, কিন্তু দ্ধিতীয়বাৰ যি দাবী কৰিছে সেই বিষয়ে হ’লে মই কৰিব নোৱাৰোঁ’।” পাছত দূতবোৰে গৈ তেওঁক সেই বাতৰি দিলে।

10 ১০ তেতিয়া বিন-হদদে তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ মানুহ পঠিয়াই ক’লে, “এই চমৰিয়াৰ ধূলি যদি মোৰ পাছত অহা লোকসকলৰ প্ৰতিজনলৈ এমুঠিকৈ জোৰে, তেন্তে দেৱতাবোৰে মোক অমুক আৰু তাতকৈয়ো অধিক দণ্ড দিয়ক।”

11 ১১ তাতে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “তোমালোকে তেওঁক কোৱাগৈ, ‘কোনো লোকেও যেন ৰণৰ সাজ গাত পিন্ধি, তেওঁ সাজ সোলোকোৱা জনৰ দৰে অহংকাৰ নকৰক’।”

12 ১২ পাছত যি সময়ত বিন হদদ আৰু তেওঁৰ লগৰ ৰজাসকলে পঁজাবোৰত পান কৰি আছিল, তেতিয়া তেওঁ সেই বাতৰি শুনি নিজ দাসবোৰক ক’লে, “তোমালোকে ৰণৰ বেহু পাতা।” তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে নগৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ বেহু পাতিলে।

13 ১৩ চোৱা, এজন ভাববাদীয়ে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজা আহাবৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে, ‘তুমি সেই মহা লোক সকলৰ সৈন্য দলটো দেখিছা নে? চোৱা, আজি মই তেওঁলোকক তোমাৰ হাতত সমৰ্পণ কৰি দিম। তেতিয়া ময়েই যে যিহোৱা সেই বিষয়ে তোমালোকে জানিবা’।”

14 ১৪ আহাবে ক’লে, “কাৰ দ্বাৰাই এনে কৰিবা?” ভাববাদীজনে ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই এইদৰে কৈছে, প্ৰদেশত সেৱা কৰা অধিপতি সকলৰ ডেকাসকলৰ দ্বাৰাই।” তেতিয়া আহাবে সুধিলে, “যুদ্ধ কোনে আৰম্ভ কৰিব?”

15 ১৫ তেওঁ ক’লে, “তুমি।” পাছত তেওঁ প্ৰদেশৰ অধিপতি সকলৰ ডেকাসকলক একত্রিত কৰিলে। তেতিয়া তেওঁ দুশ বত্ৰিশ জন লোক পালে। তেওঁলোকৰ পাছত তেওঁ সকলো লোকক, ইস্ৰায়েলৰ আটাই সন্তান সকলক একত্ৰিত কৰি, সাত হাজাৰ লোক হ’ল।

16 ১৬ পাছত তেওঁলোকে দুপৰীয়া বাহিৰ ওলাই গ’ল; সেই সময়ত বিন-হদদ আৰু তেওঁক সহায় কৰিবলৈ সেই বত্ৰিশ জন ৰজাই পঁজাবোৰত পান কৰি মতলীয়া হৈ আছিল।

17 ১৭ তেতিয়া প্ৰদেশৰ অধিপতি সকলৰ ডেকাসকলে আগে আগে ওলাই গ’ল। তেতিয়া বিন-হদদে পঠিওৱা কিছুমান লোকে তেওঁক আহি খবৰ দিলে বোলে, “চমৰিয়াৰ পৰা লোকসকল বাহিৰলৈ ওলাই আহিছে।”

18 ১৮ তেতিয়া বিন-হদদে ক’লে, “তেওঁলোকে সন্ধিৰ বাবেই ওলাই আহক বা যুদ্ধৰ কৰণেই ওলাই আহক, তেওঁলোকক জীয়াই জীয়াই ধৰিবা।”

20 ২০ তেওঁলোকৰ প্ৰতিজনে নিজৰ নিজৰ সন্মুখত থকা লোকক বধ কৰিলে। তেতিয়া অৰামীয়াসকল পলাবলৈ ধৰাত, ইস্ৰায়েলৰ লোকসকলে তেওঁলোকৰ পাছে পাছে খেদি গ’ল। কিন্তু অৰামৰ ৰজা বিন-হদদে কিছুমান অশ্বাৰোহী সেনাৰ সৈতে ঘোঁৰাত উঠি পলাই সাৰিল।

21 ২১ তেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই ওলাই গৈ তেওঁলোকৰ ঘোঁৰা আৰু ৰথবোৰ নষ্ট কৰিলে আৰু অৰামীয়াসকলৰ মাজত মহা-সংহাৰ কৰিলে।

23 ২৩ পাছত অৰামৰ ৰজাৰ দাসবোৰে তেওঁক কলে, “তেওঁলোকৰ দেৱতা পৰ্ব্বতীয়া দেৱতা, এই কাৰণে তেওঁলোক আমাতকৈ শক্তিশালী আছিল। কিন্তু আমি যদি সমথলত তেওঁলোকৰ লগত যুদ্ধ কৰোঁ, তেতিয়া আমি নিশ্চয়ে তেওঁলোকতকৈ শক্তিশালী হৈ তেওঁলোকক পৰাজয় কৰিম।

25 ২৫ আৰু আপুনি হেৰুওৱা সৈন্য-সামন্তৰ যিমান ঘোঁৰা আৰু যিমান ৰথ আছিল, সিমান ঘোঁৰা আৰু ৰথ থকা সৈন্য গোটাওক, তেতিয়া আমি সমথলত তেওঁলোকৰ লগত যুদ্ধ কৰিম। তাতে আমি নিশ্চয়ে তেওঁলোকক পৰাজয় কৰিম।” তেতিয়া বিন-হদদে তেওঁলোকৰ কথা শুনিলে, আৰু সেইদৰে কৰিলে।

26 ২৬ পাছত নতুন বছৰৰ আৰম্ভণৰ পাছত বিন-হদদে অৰামীয়াসকলক গোটাই ইস্ৰায়েলৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ অফেকলৈ উঠি গ’ল।

27 ২৭ তেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলক গোটোৱা হৈছিল আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ কাৰণে যুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ আহাৰীয় দ্ৰব্য যোগোৱা আছিল। তেওঁলোকে অৰামীয়াসকলৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যাত্ৰা কৰিলে আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ সন্মুখত ছাউনি পাতিলে। তাতে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলক ছাগলী পোৱালিৰ দুটা সৰু জাকৰ নিচিনা দেখা গ’ল, কিন্তু অৰামীয়াসকল দেশ জুৰি আছিল।

28 ২৮ সেই সময়ত ঈশ্বৰৰ এজন লোক আহি ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাক ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: অৰামীয়াসকলে কৈছে যে, যিহোৱা পৰ্ব্বতীয়া ঈশ্ৱৰ, সমথলত থকা ঈশ্ৱৰ নহয়, এই কাৰণে মই সেই মহালোক সমূহক তোমাৰ হাতত সমৰ্পণ কৰি দিম, তেতিয়া ময়েই যে যিহোৱা, সেই বিষয়ে তোমালোকে জানিবা’।”

29 ২৯ তাৰ পাছত তেওঁলোকে সাত দিনলৈকে সন্মুখা-সন্মুখি হৈ ছাউনিত থাকিল। সপ্তম দিনা যুদ্ধ লাগিল। তাতে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলে একে দিনাই অৰামীয়াসকলৰ এক লাখ পদাতিক সৈন্যক সংহাৰ কৰিলে।
and to camp these before these seven day and to be in/on/with day [the] seventh and to present: come [the] battle and to smite son: descendant/people Israel [obj] Syria hundred thousand on foot in/on/with day one
30 ৩০ কিন্তু অৱশিষ্টসকল অফেকলৈ পলাই নগৰত সোমাল আৰু তাতে সেই নগৰৰ গড় সেই অৱশিষ্ট থকা সাতাইশ হাজাৰ লোকৰ ওপৰত পৰিল। বিন-হদদ নগৰৰ ভিতৰলৈ পলাই গৈ এটা ভিতৰ কোঁঠালিত সোমাল।

31 ৩১ পাছত তেওঁৰ দাসবোৰে তেওঁক ক’লে, “চাওঁক, আমি শুনিছোঁ যে ইস্ৰায়েল-বংশৰ ৰজাসকল দয়ালু ৰজা; এই হেতুকে বিনয় কৰোঁ, আমি ককালত চট পিন্ধি ডিঙিত লেজু লৈ, বাহিৰ হৈ ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাৰ ওচৰলৈ যাওঁহঁক; কিজানি তেওঁ আপোনাৰ প্ৰাণ ৰক্ষা কৰিব।”

32 ৩২ তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে চট পিন্ধি, ডিঙিত লেজু লৈ, ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি ক’লে, “আপোনাৰ দাস বিন-হদদে কৈছে, ‘মই বিনয় কৰোঁ, মোক জীয়াই ৰাখক’।” তেতিয়া আহাবে ক’লে, “বিন-হদদ এতিয়াও জীয়াই আছে নে? তেওঁ মোৰ ভাই।”

33 ৩৩ তেতিয়া সেই লোকসকলে ইয়াকে শুভ লক্ষণ বুলি বুজি, তেওঁৰ মনৰ ভাব স্পষ্ট কৰি উলিয়াবলৈ বেগাই ক’লে, “আপোনাৰ ভাই বিন-হদদ জীয়াই আছে।” তেতিয়া তেওঁ ক’লে, “তোমালোকে গৈ তেওঁক আনা।” তেতিয়া বিন-হদদ বাহিৰ ওলাই তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ অহাত, ৰজাই তেওঁক ৰথত তুলিলে।

34 ৩৪ তেতিয়া বিন-হদদে তেওঁক ক’লে, “মোৰ পিতৃয়ে তোমাৰ পিতৃৰ পৰা যি যি নগৰ লৈছিল, সেই নগৰবোৰক মই তোমাক পুনৰায় ঘূৰাই দিম আৰু মোৰ পিতৃয়ে যেনেকৈ চমৰিয়াত হাট-বজাৰ বহুৱাইছিল, তুমিও তোমাৰ কাৰণে সেইদৰে দম্মেচকত হাট-বজাৰ বহুৱাবা।” আহাবে ক’লে, “মই এই চুক্তিৰেই তোমাক বিদায় কৰিম।” এইদৰে আহাবে তেওঁৰ লগত নিয়ম বান্ধি তেওঁক বিদায় দিলে।

35 ৩৫ পাছত শিষ্য ভাববাদীসকলৰ মাজৰ এজনে তেওঁৰ লগৰ এজনক যিহোৱাৰ বাক্যৰ দ্বাৰাই ক’লে, “মই বিনয় কৰোঁ, মোক মাৰা।” কিন্তু সেই লোকজনে মাৰিবলৈ মান্তি নহ’ল।

36 ৩৬ তেতিয়া তেওঁ তেওঁক ক’লে, তুমি যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য নমনাৰ কাৰণে তুমি মোৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা যোৱা মাত্ৰকে এটা সিংহই তোমাক বধ কৰিব; পাছত তেওঁ তেওঁৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা যোৱা মাত্ৰকে এটা সিংহই তেওঁক পাই বধ কৰিলে।

37 ৩৭ তেওঁ আৰু এজন লোকক পাই ক’লে, “মই বিনয় কৰোঁ, মোক মাৰা।” তাতে সেই মানুহজনে তেওঁক মাৰি তেওঁক আঘাত কৰিলে।

38 ৩৮ পাছত সেই ভাববাদীয়ে গৈ চকুৰ ওপৰত কাপোৰ বান্ধি নিজকে চিনিব নোৱাৰা কৰি, বাটত ৰজালৈ বাট চাই থাকিল।

39 ৩৯ তাৰ পাছত ৰজা ওচৰেদি যাওঁতে, তেওঁ বৰ মাতেৰে ৰজাক ক’লে, “আপোনাৰ এই দাসে যুদ্ধলৈ যাওঁতে, এজন সৈনিক ঘূৰি আহি মোৰ ওচৰলৈ এজন শত্ৰুক আনি ক’লে, ‘এই লোকজনক ৰাখা; যদি তেওঁ কেনেবাকৈ হেৰায়, তেন্তে তাৰ প্ৰাণৰ সলনি তোমাৰ প্ৰাণ যাব, নাইবা তুমি এক কিক্কৰ পৰিমাণ ৰূপ দিব লাগিব।’

40 ৪০ কিন্তু আপোনাৰ এই দাসে ইফালে সিফালে কামত লাগি থাকোঁতে, সেই লোকজন পলাই গ’ল।” তেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই তেওঁক ক’লে, “তেন্তে তোমাৰ তেনে দণ্ড হওঁক- তুমি নিজেই তাক নিশ্চয় কৰিলা।”

41 ৪১ তেতিয়া সেই ভাববাদীজনে বেগাই নিজৰ চকুৰ ওপৰৰ পৰা কাপোৰ গুচালে; তাতে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই, তেওঁ যে ভাববাদীসকলৰ মাজৰ এজন, তাক চিনি পালে।
