To the Church of God in Corinth, to those who have been consecrated by union with Christ Jesus and called to become his People, and also to all, wherever they may be, who invoke the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ — their Master and ours,
2 ২ এই পত্র কৰিন্থত থকা ঈশ্বৰৰ যি মণ্ডলী; খ্রীষ্ট যীচুৱে পবিত্র কৰি যি সকলক পবিত্র লোক হবলৈ আমন্ত্রণ কৰিলে, তেওঁলোকৰ আৰু সকলো ঠাইতে যি সকল লোকে আমাৰ অর্থাৎ তেওঁলোকৰ আৰু আমাৰো প্ৰভু খ্রীষ্ট যীচুৰ নামত প্রার্থনা কৰে, সেই সকলোৰে সমীপলৈ।
from Paul, who has been called to be an Apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and from Sosthenes, our Brother.
May God, our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and give you peace.
4 ৪ খ্রীষ্ট যীচুত ঈশ্বৰে যি অনুগ্রহ আপোনালোকক দান কৰিলে, তাৰ কাৰণে মই সদায় মোৰ ঈশ্বৰক ধন্যবাদ দিওঁ।
I always thank God about you for the blessing bestowed upon you in Christ Jesus.
For through union with him you were enriched in every way — in your power to preach, and in your knowledge of the Truth;
6 ৬ তেওঁ আপোনালোকক উপচাই দিছে আৰু এইদৰেই আপোনালোকৰ মাজত খ্রীষ্ট সম্পর্কীয় সাক্ষ্য সত্যৰূপে প্রমাণিত হৈ আছে।
and so became yourselves a confirmation of my testimony to the Christ.
7 ৭ সেই কাৰণে আপোনালোকৰ আত্মিক বৰৰ কোনো অভাৱ নাই আৰু আমাৰ প্রভু যীচু খ্রীষ্ট প্রকাশিত হোৱা দিনলৈ আপোনালোকে আগ্রহেৰে অপেক্ষা কৰি আছে।
And thus there is no gift in which you are deficient, while waiting for the Appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.
8 ৮ তেওঁ আপোনালোকক শেষলৈকে বলৱন্ত কৰিব, যাতে আমাৰ প্রভু যীচু খ্রীষ্টৰ সেইদিন পর্যন্ত আপোনালোক নিৰ্দোষী, পবিত্ৰ হৈ থাকিব।
And God himself will strengthen you to the end, so that at the Day of our Lord Jesus Christ you may be found blameless.
9 ৯ ঈশ্বৰ বিশ্বাসী; তেৱেঁই আপোনালোকক তেওঁৰ পুত্র, আমাৰ প্রভু যীচু খ্রীষ্টৰ সহভাগিতা লাভৰ কাৰণে আমন্ত্রণ কৰিছে।
God will not fail you, and it is he who called you into communion with his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.
10 ১০ কিন্তু মোৰ প্রিয় ভাই আৰু ভনী সকল, আমাৰ প্রভু যীচু খ্রীষ্টৰ নামত মই আপোনালোকক বিনয় কৰোঁ যে, আপোনালোকৰ পৰস্পৰৰ মাজত যেন মতৰ মিল থাকে; আপোনালোকৰ মাজত কোনো বিভেদ নাথাকক। আপোনালোক সকলোৰে যেন একে মন আৰু এক উদ্দেশ্য হয়।
But I appeal to you, Brothers, by the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to agree in what you profess, and not to allow divisions to exist among you, but to be united — of one mind and of one opinion.
11 ১১ মোৰ ভাই-ভনী সকল, মই ক্লোয়ীৰ ঘৰৰ লোক সকলৰ পৰা শুনিবলৈ পাইছো যে, আপোনালোকৰ মাজত নানা বাক-বিতণ্ডা হৈ আছে।
For I have been informed, my Brothers, by the members of Chloe’s household, that party feeling exists among you.
12 ১২ এতিয়া মই এই কথা কবলৈ বিচাৰিছোঁ যে, আপোনালোক প্রতিজনে কয় “মই পৌলৰ দলৰ” অথবা “মই আপল্লোৰ দলৰ” নাইবা “মই কৈফাৰ” বা “মই খ্রীষ্টৰ দলৰ।”
I mean this: that every one of you says either ‘I follow Paul,’ or ‘I Apollos,’ or ‘I Kephas,’ or ‘I Christ.’
13 ১৩ তেনেহলে খ্রীষ্টক ভাগ কৰা হৈছে নেকি? পৌলক জানো আপোনালোকৰ কাৰণে ক্রুচত দিয়া হৈছিল? আপোনালোকে জানো পৌলৰ নামেৰে বাপ্তিস্ম লৈছিল?
You have rent the Christ in pieces! Was it Paul who was crucified for you? or were you baptized into the Faith of Paul?
14 ১৪ মই ঈশ্বৰৰ ধন্যবাদ কৰোঁ যে ক্ৰীষ্প আৰু গায়ৰ বাহিৰে আপোনালোকৰ আন কোনো এজনকো মই বাপ্তিস্ম দিয়া নাই।
I am thankful that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius,
so that no one can say that you were baptized into my Faith.
16 ১৬ অৱশ্যে হয়, স্তিফানাৰ পৰিবাৰৰ লোক সকলকো মই বাপ্তিস্ম দিছোঁ। এওঁলোকৰ বাহিৰে আন কোনো এজনক বাপ্তিস্ম দিছোঁ বুলি মোৰ মনত নপৰে।
I baptized also the household of Stephanas. I do not know that I baptized any one else.
17 ১৭ কিয়নো খ্রীষ্টই মোক বাপ্তিস্ম দিবৰ কাৰণে নহয়, কিন্তু শুভবার্তা প্রচাৰ কৰিবৰ কাৰণেহে পঠাইছে। খ্রীষ্টৰ ক্ৰুচৰ পৰাক্রম যেন বিফল নহয়, সেয়ে তেওঁ মোক এই শুভবার্তা মানুহৰ জ্ঞানেৰেও প্রচাৰ কৰিবলৈ পঠোৱা নাই।
My mission from Christ was not to baptize, but to tell the Good News; not, however, in the language of philosophy, lest the cross of the Christ should be robbed of its meaning.
18 ১৮ বিনাশৰ পথত চলা লোক সকললৈ ক্ৰুচৰ শিক্ষা মূর্খতা। কিন্তু ঈশ্বৰে পৰিত্ৰাণ কৰা যি আমি, আমালৈ ই ঈশ্বৰৰ শক্তিস্বৰূপ।
The Message of the Cross is indeed mere folly to those who are in the path to Ruin, but to us who are in the path of Salvation it is the very power of God.
For Scripture says — ‘I will bring the philosophy of the philosophers to nought, and the shrewdness of the shrewd I will make of no account.’
20 ২০ কিন্তু জ্ঞানী লোক ক’ত? পণ্ডিত লোকেই বা ক’ত? এই জগতৰ তার্কিক লোক বা ক’ত? ঈশ্বৰে জানো জগতৰ জ্ঞানক মূর্খতালৈ পৰিণত কৰা নাই? (aiōn g165)
Where is the Philosopher? where the Teacher of the Law? where the Disputant of to-day? Has not God shown the world’s philosophy to be folly? (aiōn g165)
21 ২১ সেয়ে ঈশ্বৰৰ নিজ জ্ঞানত যেতিয়া জনিলে যে জগতে নিজৰ জ্ঞানেৰে ঈশ্বৰক নাজানিলে, তেতিয়া প্রচাৰৰ মূর্খতাৰ দ্বাৰাই যি সকলে বিশ্বাস কৰে, সেই সকলক উদ্ধাৰ কৰাত ঈশ্বৰ সন্তুষ্ট হ’ল।
For since the world, in God’s wisdom, did not by its philosophy learn to know God, God saw fit, by the ‘folly’ of our proclamation, to save those who believe in Christ!
While Jews ask for miraculous signs, and Greeks study philosophy,
23 ২৩ কিন্তু আমি হ’লে ক্রুচত হত হোৱা খ্রীষ্টৰ সম্বন্ধেহে প্রচাৰ কৰোঁ। ইহুদী লোক সকললৈ এই কথা এক বিঘিনি স্বৰূপ আৰু গ্রীক সকলৰ ওচৰত মূর্খতাস্বৰূপ।
we are proclaiming Christ crucified! — to the Jews an obstacle, to the Gentiles mere folly,
24 ২৪ কিন্তু ইহুদী লোকেই হওক বা গ্রীক লোকেই হওক, ঈশ্বৰে যি সকলক আমন্ত্রণ কৰিছে, আমি তেওঁলোকৰ ওচৰত খ্রীষ্টক ঈশ্বৰৰ শক্তি আৰু জ্ঞানস্বৰূপে প্রচাৰ কৰোঁ।
but to those who have received the Call, whether Jews or Greeks, Christ, the Power of God and the Wisdom of God!
25 ২৫ কাৰণ ঈশ্বৰৰ যি মূর্খতা, সেয়া মানুহৰ জ্ঞানতকৈ অধিক জ্ঞানসম্পন্ন আৰু ঈশ্বৰৰ যি দুর্বলতা, সেয়া মানুহৰ শক্তিতকৈ অধিক শক্তিশালী।
For God’s ‘folly’ is wiser than men, and God’s ‘weakness’ is stronger than men.
26 ২৬ ভাই-ভনী সকল, ঈশ্বৰে যে আপোনালোকক আহ্বান কৰিছে, সেই বিষয়ে অলপ ভাৱি চাওক। মানুহৰ বিচাৰত আপোনালোক বহুতেই জ্ঞানী আছিল, এনে নহয়; ক্ষমতাসম্পন্ন ব্যক্তিও যে আছিল, এনে নহয় নাইবা অনেকে যে অভিজাত বংশত জন্মিছিল, তেনেও নহয়।
Look at the facts of your Call, Brothers. There are not many among you who are wise, as men reckon wisdom, not many who are influential, not many who are high-born;
27 ২৭ কিন্তু ঈশ্বৰে জ্ঞানৱন্তক লাজ দিবলৈ জগতৰ মূর্খবোৰক মনোনীত কৰিলে আৰু বলৱন্তক লাজ দিবলৈ ঈশ্বৰে জগতৰ দুর্বলবোৰক মনোনীত কৰিলে।
but God chose what the world counts foolish to put its wise men to shame, and God chose what the world counts weak to put its strong things to shame,
28 ২৮ জগতত যি তুচ্ছ আৰু ঘৃণিত, যাৰ কোনো মূল্যই নাই, সেই সকলক ঈশ্বৰে মনোনীত কৰিলে যাতে জগতৰ মূল্যৱান সকলক তেওঁ মূল্যহীন কৰিব পাৰে।
and God chose what the world counts poor and insignificant — things that to it are unreal — to bring its ‘realities’ to nothing,
so that in his presence no human being should boast.
30 ৩০ কাৰণ ঈশ্বৰৰ কার্যৰ দ্বাৰাই আপোনালোক এতিয়া খ্রীষ্ট যীচুৰ লগত যুক্ত হ’ল। খ্রীষ্টই হৈছে আমাৰ বাবে ঈশ্বৰে দিয়া জ্ঞান, তেৱেঁই আমাৰ জীৱনৰ ধাৰ্মিকতা, পবিত্রতা আৰু মুক্তি।
But you, by your union with Christ Jesus, belong to God; and Christ, by God’s will, became not only our Wisdom, but also our Righteousness, Holiness, and Deliverance,
so that — in the words of Scripture — ‘Let him who boasts make his boast of the Lord!’
