১ কৰিন্থীয়া 12
Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not wish you to be ignorant.
You know that when you were heathen you went astray after dumb idols, wherever he be led.
3 ৩ এই কাৰণে মই আপোনালোকক জনাইছোঁ যে, ঈশ্বৰৰ আত্মাৰে কথা কওঁতা কোনেও “যীচুক শাপগ্ৰস্থ বুলি নকয়; আৰু পবিত্ৰ আত্মাৰ দ্বাৰাই নহ’লে, কোনেও যীচুক ‘প্ৰভু’ বুলিব নোৱাৰে”।
Wherefore I want you to understand that no one who speaks in the Spirit of God says, "Jesus is accursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except in the Holy Spirit.
Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit;
there are various forms of service, and the same Lord;
and varieties of work, and the same God, who works in all.
Now to each man has been given his manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
For to one man by the Spirit has been given a word of wisdom, to another a word of insight by the same Spirit;
to one man by the same Spirit is given faith, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit;
10 ১০ আন কোনো জনক পৰাক্ৰম কাৰ্য সাধন কৰিবলৈ, আন কোনোক ভাববাণী ক’বৰ, আন কোনোক আত্মাবোৰ বিচাৰ কৰিবৰ, আন কোনোক নানা বিধ ভাষা ক’বৰ, আৰু আন কোনোক নানা ভাষাৰ অৰ্থ প্ৰকাশ কৰিবৰ শক্তিৰূপ বৰ দিয়া হৈছে;
to another the powers which work miracles, to another prophecy, to another the discernment of spirits; to another varieties of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
11 ১১ কিন্তু সেই একমাত্ৰ আত্মাই যাকে যি বৰ দিবলৈ মন কৰে, সেয়াই তেওঁক ভাগ-বাঁটি দি, সেই সকলোকে সাধন কৰিছে।
But the one and the same Spirit gives power to all, distributing his gifts to each as he wills.
12 ১২ কিয়নো যেনেকৈ শৰীৰ এক আৰু তাৰ অঙ্গ-প্ৰত্যঙ্গ অনেক, কিন্তু সেই শৰীৰৰ সকলো অঙ্গ-প্ৰত্যঙ্গ অনেক হ’লেও এক শৰীৰ হয়, তেনেকৈ খ্ৰীষ্টও।
For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, although they be many, are one body; so also is Christ.
13 ১৩ কাৰণ আমি ইহুদী হওঁ বা গ্ৰীক হওঁ, দাস হওঁ বা স্বাধীন হওঁ, সকলোৱেই এক শৰীৰ হবলৈ এক আত্মাত বাপ্তাইজিত হ’লোঁ; আৰু সকলোৱে এক আত্মা পান কৰিবলৈ পালোঁ।
And we can see this, for in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jew or Gentile, whether slave or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.
For the body is not one member, but many.
15 ১৫ ভৰিয়ে যদি কয়, মই হাত নোহোৱা কাৰণে শৰীৰৰ অংশ নহওঁ, তেনেহলে সি সেই কাৰণে শৰীৰৰ অংশ নহয়, এনে নহয়।
If the foot should say, "Because I am a hand, I am not part a part the body," would it not indeed be a part of the body?
16 ১৬ আৰু কাণেও যদি কয়, মই চকু নোহোৱা কাৰণে শৰীৰৰ অংশ নহওঁ, তেনেহলে সি সেই কাৰণে যে শৰীৰৰ অংশ নহয়, এনে নহয়।
Or if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body," would it be any less a part of the body?
17 ১৭ গোটেই শৰীৰেই চকু হোৱা হ’লে, শ্ৰৱণ ক’ত হ’লহেঁতেন? আৰু গোটেইটো শ্ৰৱণ হোৱা হ’লে, ঘ্ৰাণ ক’ত হ’লহেঁতেন?
If the whole body were an eye, where were hearing? If all were hearing, where were smelling?
18 ১৮ কিন্তু এতিয়া ঈশ্বৰে নিজ ইচ্ছামতে অঙ্গ-প্ৰত্যঙ্গবোৰক, এনে কি, সেইবোৰৰ প্ৰত্যেকক শৰীৰত লগাই দিলে।
But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body as it has pleased him.
If all were one member, where would the body be?
But now there are many members, but one body.
21 ২১ আৰু তোমাত মোৰ প্ৰয়োজন নাই বুলি চকুৱে হাতক ক’ব নোৱাৰে; বা তোমালোকত মোৰ প্ৰয়োজন নাই বুলি মূৰে ভৰি দুখনক ক’ব নোৱাৰে।
And the eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of you". nor again of head to the feet, "I have no need for you."
22 ২২ কওক ছাৰি, শৰীৰৰ যি যি অঙ্গ আন অঙ্গতকৈ দূৰ্বল বোধ হয়, সেই সকলো অঙ্গ-প্ৰত্যঙ্গও প্ৰয়োজনীয়হে হয়
On the contrary, we need those members of the body which seem to be weaker;
upon those parts of the body which we esteem less honorable, we bestow more abundant honor, and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
For whereas our comely parts have no need, God has tempered the body together, giving more abundant honor to that member in which lacked;
25 ২৫ কিন্তু শৰীৰত যেন বিভেদ নহয়, বৰং অঙ্গ-প্ৰত্যঙ্গবোৰে পৰস্পৰে হিত চিন্তা কৰে, এই কাৰণে ঈশ্বৰে অনাদৰণীয়টোক অধিক আদৰণীয় কৰি, শৰীৰ সংগঠিত কৰিলে।
that there should be no disunion in the body, but that members mutual care for one another.
26 ২৬ তাতে এক অঙ্গই দুখ পালে, তাৰে সৈতে সকলো অঙ্গ-প্ৰত্যঙ্গই দুখ পায়; আৰু এক অঙ্গই মৰ্যদা পালে, তাৰে সৈতে সকলো অঙ্গ-প্ৰত্যঙ্গই আনন্দ কৰে।
When one member suffers, all the others suffer with it; and when one member is honored, all the members are glad with it.
Now you are the body of Christ, and individually members of it.
28 ২৮ আৰু ঈশ্বৰে মণ্ডলীত প্ৰথমে পাঁচনি সকলক, দ্বিতীয়তে ভাববাদী সকলক, তৃতীয়তে উপদেশক সকলক স্থাপন কৰিলে; তাৰ পাছত পৰাক্ৰম কাৰ্যবোৰ, তাৰ পাছত সুস্থ কৰিব পৰা বৰ, উপকাৰ, শাসন-পদ আৰু নানা ভাষা দিলে।
And God has appointed those in the church to be first of all apostles, second, prophets, third, teachers. then workers of miracles, healers, helpers, administrators, users of various kinds of "tongues."
Are all apostles? Are all prophets? teachers? workers of miracles?
Have all gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
Desire earnestly the greater gifts. And yet I will go on to show you a still more excellent way.
