ՏԻՏՈՍ 3

1 Յիշեցո՛ւր անոնց՝ որ հպատակին պետութիւններուն եւ իշխանութիւններուն, անսան պետութեան, ու պատրաստ ըլլան ամէն բարի գործի.

do remind them to rulers (and *k) to authorities to be subject, to be obedient, for every work good ready to be,

2 ո՛չ մէկուն հայհոյեն, ըլլան ո՛չ թէ կռուազան, հապա՝ ազնիւ, բոլորովին հեզութիւն ցոյց տալով ամէն մարդու:

no one to denigrate, peaceable to be, gentle, all showing humility toward all men.

3 Որովհետեւ մե՛նք ալ ժամանակին անմիտ էինք, անհնազանդ, մոլորեալ, ու կը ծառայէինք զանազան ցանկութիւններու եւ հաճոյքներու. կը վարուէինք չարամտութեամբ ու նախանձով, հակակրելի էինք եւ կ՚ատէինք զիրար:

Were for once also we ourselves foolish, disobedient, being deceived, serving lusts and pleasures various, in malice and envy living, hateful, hating one another.

4 Բայց երբ մեր Փրկիչ Աստուծոյ քաղցրութիւնն ու մարդասիրութիւնը երեւցան,

When however the kindness and the love of mankind appeared of the Savior of us God,

5 ան փրկեց մեզ - ո՛չ թէ մեր ըրած արդարութեան գործերով, հապա իր ողորմութեան համաձայն - աւազանին վերստին ծնունդով եւ Սուրբ Հոգիին նորոգութեամբ:

not by works in righteousness (that *N+kO) did we ourselves, but according to His (mercy *N+kO) He saved us through [the] washing of regeneration and renewing of [the] Spirit Holy

6 Զայն ճոխութեամբ թափեց մեր վրայ՝ մեր Փրկիչ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի միջոցով,

whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ the Savior of us,

7 որպէսզի՝ անոր շնորհքով արդարացած ըլլալով՝ ժառանգորդ դառնանք, յաւիտենական կեանքի յոյսին համաձայն: (aiōnios g166)

so that having been justified by that grace heirs (we may become *N+kO) according to [the] hope of life eternal. (aiōnios g166)

8 Այս խօսքը վստահելի է, եւ կը փափաքիմ որ պնդես այս բաներուն վրայ, որպէսզի Աստուծոյ հաւատացողները ճիգ թափեն մատակարար ըլլալու բարի գործերու. այս բաները բարի են, ու մարդոց օգտակար:

Trustworthy [is] the saying, and concerning these things I want you to affirm strongly so that may take care to good works to be devoted those already believing in God; These things are excellent and profitable to men.

9 Բայց հեռո՛ւ կեցիր յիմար վէճերէն, ազգաբանութիւններէն, հակառակութիւններէն եւ Օրէնքին շուրջ եղած կռիւներէն, որովհետեւ անօգուտ են ու փուճ:

Foolish however controversies and genealogies and (arguments *NK+O) and quarrels about [the] Law do yourself avoid; they are for unprofitable and worthless.

10 Հրաժարէ՛ հերձուածող մարդէն՝ առաջին եւ երկրորդ խրատէն ետք,

A factious man after one and a second admonition do reject

11 գիտնալով թէ այդպիսին խոտորած է ու կը մեղանչէ՝ դատապարտելով ինքզինք:

knowing that has been corrupt such a man and is sinning being self-condemned.

12 Երբ Արտեման կամ Տիւքիկոսը ղրկեմ քեզի, փութա՛ գալ ինծի՝ Նիկոպոլիս, որովհետեւ որոշեցի հոն ձմերել:

When I may send Artemas to you or Tychicus, do be diligent to come to me into Nicopolis; there for I have decided to winter.

13 Փութաջանութեա՛մբ ուղարկէ Զենաս օրինականը եւ Ապողոսը, հոգ տանելով որ ոչինչ պակսի անոնց:

Zenas the lawyer and Apollos earnestly do equip, so that nothing to them may be lacking.

14 Մերիննե՛րն ալ թող սորվին մատակարար ըլլալ բարի գործերու՝ հարկաւոր կարիքներու համար, որպէսզի անպտուղ չըլլան:

should learn now also our own [people] to good works to devote themselves for necessary needs, so that not they may be unfruitful.

15 Կը բարեւեն քեզ բոլոր անոնք՝ որ ինծի հետ են. բարեւէ՛ հաւատքին մէջ մեզ սիրողները: Շնորհքը ձեր բոլորին հետ: Ամէն:
