ՏԻՏՈՍ 2

1 Իսկ դուն խօսէ՛ ինչ որ կը պատշաճի ողջամիտ վարդապետութեան:

You yourself however do speak [the things] that are consistent with sound doctrine.

2 Տարեցները թող ըլլան զգաստ, պատկառելի, խոհեմ, եւ ողջամիտ՝ հաւատքով, սիրով ու համբերութեամբ:

[The] aged [men] sober-minded are to be, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, in endurance.

3 Տարեց կիներն ալ թող վարուին այնպէս՝ ինչպէս կը վայլէ սրբութեան, եւ ըլլան ո՛չ չարախօս, ո՛չ գինեմոլ, հապա՝ բարի բաներ սորվեցնող.

[the] aged [women] likewise in behavior reverent, not slanderers, (not *NK+o) to wine much enslaved, teachers of what is good,

4 որպէսզի սորվեցնեն դեռահասակ կիներուն՝ սիրել իրենց ամուսինները, սիրել իրենց զաւակները,

so that (they may train *NK+o) the young [women] lovers of [their] husbands to be, loving [their] children,

5 եւ ըլլալ խոհեմ, մաքրակենցաղ, տնաշէն, բարեգործ, իրենց ամուսիններուն հպատակ, որ Աստուծոյ խօսքը չհայհոյուի:

self-controlled, pure (busy at home *N+kO) kind, being subject to [their] own husbands, so that not the word of God may be denigrated.

6 Նոյնպէս յորդորէ՛ երիտասարդները որ ըլլան խոհեմ:

The younger [men] likewise do exhort to be self-controlled,

7 Ամէն բանի մէջ դուն քեզ ցոյց տուր իբր տիպար՝ բարի գործերու. վարդապետութեան մէջ՝ ցոյց տուր անեղծութիւն, պատկառանք,

In all things yourself be holding forth [as] a pattern of good works, in the teaching (unspoilable *K) incorruptable, dignity

8 ողջամիտ եւ անպարսաւելի խօսք, որպէսզի հակառակողը ամչնայ՝ մեր մասին չարախօսելիք ոչինչ ունենալով:

speech sound, beyond reproach, so that he who is of the contrary may be ashamed nothing having to say concerning (us *N+KO) evil.

9 Յորդորէ՛ ստրուկները՝ որ հպատակին իրենց տէրերուն ու հաճելի ըլլան անոնց՝ ամէն բանի մէջ. չհակաճառեն,

Servants to [their] own masters are to be subject, in everything well-pleasing to be, not gainsaying,

10 չխորեն, հապա բոլորովին բարի հաւատարմութիւն ցոյց տան, որպէսզի զարդարեն մեր Փրկիչ Աստուծոյ վարդապետութիւնը՝ ամէն բանի մէջ:

not pilfering but all fidelity showing good, so that the doctrine (which [is] *no) of the Savior (of us *NK+O) God they may adorn in all things.

11 Քանի որ Աստուծոյ փրկարար շնորհքը երեւցաւ բոլոր մարդոց,

Has appeared for the grace of God [bringing] salvation to all men

12 կրթելով մեզ՝ որ ուրանանք ամբարշտութիւնն ու աշխարհային ցանկութիւնները, եւ ապրինք խոհեմութեամբ, արդարութեամբ ու բարեպաշտութեամբ՝ այս ներկայ աշխարհին մէջ, (aiōn g165)

instructing us that having denied ungodliness and worldly passions discreetly and righteously and piously we may live in the present age (aiōn g165)

13 սպասելով այն երանելի յոյսին եւ մեծ Աստուծոյ ու մեր Փրկիչ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի փառքին երեւումին:

awaiting the blessed hope and [the] appearing of the glory of the great God and Savior of us Jesus Christ

14 Ան ընծայեց ինքզինք մեզի համար, որպէսզի ազատագրէ մեզ ամէն անօրէնութենէ, եւ մաքրելով՝ ընէ իր սեփական ժողովուրդը, նախանձախնդիր բարի գործերու:

who gave Himself for us that He may redeem us from all lawlessness and may purify to Himself a people specially chosen, zealous of good works.

15 Ըսէ՛ այս բաները, յորդորէ՛ ու կշտամբէ՛ ամբողջ հեղինակութեամբ: Ո՛չ մէկը թող արհամարհէ քեզ:

These things do speak and do exhort and do rebuke with all authority. No one you should despise.
